Salesman If one sees himself in a dream invoking false oath, or making false claims to market his merchandise, it means that he will turn into that state to live in falsehood and oppose his own conscious. This includes prejudice, belittling the value of things, underweighting the selling measures, or accumulating interest from usury. A wheat salesman in a dream denotes someone who loves the world and does not think about his life in the hereafter. If one sees himself receiving money for his merchandise, or if he discards his profits from the sale in his dream, such an act maybe rewarding. Selling yarn in a dream means travel. Sale Selling in a dream also means exchanging one condition with another. However, bartering in a dream means to exchange the benefit of things, or to share them. If for example one sees himself in a dream trading something of no value for something precious, and if he is a warrior, it means that he will die as a martyr. Pearl • Finding a pearl: (1) If it is pierced: Will have a girl. (2) If it is not pierced: Will have a boy.
• Selling big pearls: Good learning or simple welfare, depending on the nature of the individual.
• Having sold or swallowed pearls: Will forget the Quran.
• Swallowing a pearl: Will conceal a testimony.
• Swallowing pearls, then returning them: Every time the dreamer memorizes something from the Quran, he forgets it.
• Keeping a mouthful of pearls: You know the Quran but refuse to cite it.

Grain merchant In a dream, a grain merchant represents a man of dignity whose earnings are blessed if he does not need to sell his merchandise in the dream, but if he is eager to dispose of his merchandise, then it will bring him humiliation. If one sees the governor of his town selling grains in a dream, it means that he will lose his post. A grain merchant in a dream also represents the head of merchants, a union boss, the chief craftsperson, or a popular and a magnanimous ruler. Selling grains and not seeing the return or money in a dream represents one's ascetic detachment and gratitude to his Lord, for the real price of things is gratitude. Slave If one is sold as a slave in a dream, it means that he will regain honor and dignity, or perhaps fall in a trap, for selling a free person in a dream means humiliating him. Selling a human being in a dream also connotes a good end, such as that in the story of Allah's prophet Joseph, Alayhi-Salam. If a bondman sees himself free in a dream, it means that he will experience ease after he was subjugated to difficulties and hardships, or it could mean paying his debts, recovering from an illness, attaining one's goals, or perhaps he may become a true servant of Allah Almighty, who commands good and forbids evil, establishes regular prayers, pays his charities and fears wrongdoing. Mattress (Bed; Sleeping pad) In a dream, a mattress represents comfort or a woman. Selling one's mattress in a dream means divorcing one's wife. If one's wife is sick, then selling one's mattress means that she may die from her illness. If one sees a dog or a pig sleeping on his mattress in a dream, it means that an insolent person is having a secret affair with one's wife. If the mattress is stuffed with wool, cotton, or down in the dream, it represents a wealthy woman. If the mattress is made of brocade or silk in the dream, it represents a Hindu woman. Testicles According to Al-Nabuls, the testicles are the center of pleasure and the organs responsible for hair growth. The left one, in particular, is where male children come from. They may also symbolize movement; endeavours; what a person lays his head on to sleep, like pillows; or certain pairs such as husband and wife, twin children, two trades, two chamberlains guarding a door, et cetera, especially female couples, like two sisters, two girls, two wives, and a mother and her sister. Whatever happens to the testicles in the dream will befall those persons. If the testicles are severed, for instance, the dreamer’s two wives will die or he will divorce them. If he knows of two female patients, they will pass away, and so on and so forth. Other possibilities include an allusion to money, the purse, parity and equity, and the persons without whose consent a marriage cannot take place. One testicle could be a reference to a steelyard. Balance (Scale) A balance and a scale in a dream have similar interpretations. Both represent faith, justice and righteousness in words and actions. In a dream, a balance also may represent a wife, or it could mean payment of one's debts. A steelyard in a dream represents an architect or a builder. A miller's scale in a dream represents a man who considers himself worthy of respect, while his actions, earnings and moves are contemptible. A precision scale in a dream represents a warning against heedlessness and concern for proper accounting for one's actions. The justice scale represents a judge. If it stands balanced in one's dream, then it means that the judge of that locality is a just and a learned person. In a dream, the scales of a balance represents the judge's ears.
