Garments, Burning If a person sees his clothes or part of his body on fir it implies that he will encounter some crises relating to his clothes or body. (This will be discussed in great detail in this book). If such a fire constitutes tongues of falme rising upwards it means harm will come to him from the king or uler. Divorce (Poverty) If someone divorces his wife in a dream, it means that he will be dismissed from his job. If an unmarried person sees himself divorcing someone in a dream, it means reaching a conclusion to whatever good or bad he is experiencing. As for the divorce of a married person in a dream, it means closing of his business or his death if he is bed stricken. If one sees himself divorcing his wife in a dream, it means that he will become rich, or that his life will run smoother. Tayammum To perform Tayammum while water is accessible in a dream means falsehood and hypocrisy. It also means hoping for forgiveness while adamantly pursuing the avenues of wrongdoing, giving preference to one's interests in the world over his lasting benefits in the hereafter, preferring masturbation over lawful sexual intercourse, or being a hypocrite, and it could mean recovering from a terminal illness, or release from prison. Impotence (Infertile; Sterile) Impotence in a dream means protection from sin, asceticism, abstinence and renouncing the pleasures of this world. If one sees himself castrated in a dream, it means that he will gain power and fame. Piss Urine generally symbolizes spending and wasting money. It could also mean illicit or inappropriate spending.
• Urinating: The dreamer will spend money that will benefit himself.
• Urinating smoothly: Money will flow from the dreamer’s pocket, and his savings will be eroded.
• Containing one’s urine: The dreamer will be angry with his wife.
• Being hard pressed but finding nowhere to urinate: The dreamer is searching for a place to bury his money but is unable to find one.
• Holding back urine or urinating with difficulty: The dreamer is rushing things and taking incorrect initiatives, because continence is like frustration and frustrated persons are unstable and never go back on a decision before they feel the heat.
• Urinating in an unknown place: The dreamer will marry a woman or a slave in that place who will receive his semen and make him part of her family.
• Urinating in a well: The dreamer will spend illegally acquired money.
• Urinating on a commodity: Will incur losses in it.
• A rich person urinating and withholding some of the urine: He will lose some of his wealth.
• A troubled person urinating and retaining some of his urine: He will get limited relief.
• Urinating in drops: A debt will be paid back in instalments.

Sword • Finding the sword too heavy and dragging it on the ground: Influence will wane.
• The supports of the sword breaking or being cut: Will be deposed or isolated.
• Giving or taking the blade of a sword from one’s wife: She will give birth to a male child.
• The wife giving her husband a sword in its sheath: She will deliver a boy.
• Handing one’s wife a sword in its sheath: She will give birth to a girl.
• Being girded with four swords, One made of iron, one made of brass or bronze, one made of lead, and one made of wood: Will have four male children. The iron symbolizes a courageous boy, the bronze a lucky boy who will become rich, the lead an effeminate boy, and the wood a hypocrite.

Vegetable • Collecting a bunch of legumes from one’s garden or backyard: Evil and rupture on the part of a group of female relatives.
• A vegetable plant growing in arid land or in a place in which such herbs cannot possibly grow, especially if it is in a house or a mosque: An allusion to a man. Seen inside a house, a vegetable means that such a man will marry someone from the family. Dream Interpreter: Various Islamic Scholars
Archangels Azrail (the Archangel of Death)
• Seeing Azrail: (1) Must prepare for death. (2) Death of a sick person. (3) A lurking enemy. (4) Will have a long life.
• Azrail seeming happy: The dreamer will die as a martyr.
• Azrail frowning and looking unhappy: The dreamer will die without repenting.
• Wrestling with Azrail: (1) If he overcomes the Angel of Death, the dreamer will face death, but God will save him. (2) If the Angel of Death gains the upper hand, the dreamer will die.
• Kissing Azrail or vice versa: (1) Inheritance. (2) Dispersal. (3) Something bad will happen. Israfil (the archangel who will blow the horn to summon mankind on the Day of Resurrection)
• Seeing Israfil: Good tidings and a beneficial trip.
• Israfil bending and blowing the horn and only the dreamer hearing its sound: The dreamer will pass away. Israfil bending and blowing the horn and other people in the area hearing the horn: (1) Death and atrocities will take place in that spot. (2) Justice will prevail and the unjust will perish. Pebble • Throwing pebbles (jamarat) as part of the pilgrimage rites in Mecca (Makkah) as if stoning the Devil: (1) Will settle a debt of seven or seven hundred currency units. (2) Will triumph over the enemy. (3) Will do good. (4) Will complete fasting and prayer.

File (Rasp; Tongue) A file in a dream represents one's tongue. It also means satisfying an innate need or giving a keen edge to an expression. It also represents a helper, a son who provides for the need of his mother or younger brothers and sisters. A file in a dream also represents demands, obligations, or sexual intercourse. Lying On Two Different Sides Abu Salama reported Allah's Messenger (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) as saying: I used to see dreams, but the hadith transmitted on the authority of Laith b. Nu'man, the words of Abu Salama at the concluding part of the hadith are not mentioned. Izrail Kissing Izrail in a dream means receiving an inheritance. Seeing Izrail in a dream also means separations, death of sick people, losses, destruction, fire, bad news, forfeiture of properties, stagnation of the economy, losing one's source of livelihood, imprisonment, breach of promise, forgetting one's knowledge, neglecting one's prayers, obstruction of charities, hindrance of alms distribution, negating the rights of others, retreating to one's privacy, rising prices, bad crop, a tyrant ruler, glass blowing, or bankruptcy. As for one who loves to meet his Lord, seeing the archangel Izrail in a dream means attainment of one's goal, fulfillment of a promise, freedom from prison, good news and glad tidings. If an unknown or a common person approaches someone in the street and whispers something in his ear in confidence, the commoner here represents the angel of death. Fox If one sees himself battling a fox in a dream, it means that his wife has committed adultery. Capturing a piece of fox skin or his hair in a dream means victory and strength, or it may be interpreted as receiving an inheritance. Coat If one loses his coat in a dream, it means that he will be shielded from poverty and boasts about his status in public. A coat in a dream also represents man's trust, because it is placed over his shoulders and around his neck. Barefoot • Taking off one’s shoes or sandals and walking barefoot: (1) Will become a ruler or a chief. (2) Will be freed from worries. (3) Will divorce. (4) Will become a widower.
• Travelling barefoot: Will contract a debt that you will not be able to pay back.

Ophtalmia Ophtalmia, or soreness of the eye, indicates that the dreamer is deviating from the truth and losing religious faith. Paradoxically, it could also mean that the subject is about to become rich. Other interpretations would have it that the dreamer will experience worries on the part of his children. Dreaming that ophtalmia has not reduced the eyesight means the dreamer is unjustly accused of religious misbehaviour and will be compensated by God for this damage. Times in which Dreams are Most Potent It must be borne in mind that the most authentic dreams are the ones observed in the latter part of the night and during Qayloolah (sleeping at midday ) and during the day. Dreams during the fruit-ripening season and fruit-selling season are also very potent. Expulsion If a religious and a pious looking person is evicted or driven away from a place in a dream, it means that he is failing to fulfill his religious vow, or it could mean that he is avoiding to remain in the company of true pious people, ascetics, people of knowledge and noble ones. A Door It symbolises the head of the household and at other times the one who manages the household affairs which is, in most cases, one's wife. Any pleasant or unpleasant condition in such a door bespeaks of a similar condition in her. For example, a broken, displaced or burnt door could mean dispute or separation between wife and husband. Thinning (Skin inflammation) If one sees his skin thinned or inflamed between his legs in a dream, it means that he may marry a rich woman who will give him her wealth.
