Grave (Burial; Tomb; Sepulcher) A grave in a dream represents a prison and a prison in a dream represents a grave. If one sees himself living in a grave in a dream, it means that he will be incarcerated in a prison. Building a grave in a dream means building a house. If one enters a grave but does not witness a funeral in his dream, it means that he will buy a house. Digging a grave in a dream means getting married, though through tricking the woman to get her consent. Standing over a grave in a dream means committing a sin. If one sees himself digging a grave and upon completing his work, if he discovers that what he has dug is standing on the surface of the earth and has no walls in the dream, such ground represents the abode of the hereafter. Planet • Riding on a planet: Benefits, welfare, power, influence, and leadership.
• Planets under the ceiling: (1) Home will be destroyed (as, the home having no roof anymore, the planets could be seen from within the house). (2) The owner of the house will die.

Spider In a dream, a spider represents a malicious woman, or a weak, perfidious and a distant man. A spider in a dream also represents a weaver, an ascetic or a monk. If one sees a spider in his dream, it may mean that he will meet a pious and a religious man. Weaving a web in a dream means becoming weak. A spider in a dream also could represent a pleasing wife. Earthquake If one sees the earth moving under his feet in a dream, then it represents one's striving and pursuit of his business needs or livelihood. An earthquake in a dream also represents exposing secrets, hearing bad news, a general scare, public disturbances, the surfacing of new diseases. If one sees the walls crumbling and caving in a dream, it means his death. Seeing an earthquake in an arable land in a dream means fertility or a good harvest. An earthquake in a dream also may mean travels, dancing, abstraction of business or having an argument with one's family. If the destruction hits the buildings in urban areas in the dream, it means business growth for construction workers, contractors or related industries. Collapsing walls If one sees the walls of his house collapsing as a result of a flood in a dream, it means the death of his wife. If one sees his house caving in on him and causing a big cloud of dust in a dream, it means that he maybe afflicted with measles. A collapsed ceiling in a dream means devastation. If one sees a destroyed house standing erect anew in a dream, it means spiritual awakening of its owner. If one is awaiting the return of a member of his family, or if he is awaiting a guest to arrive, and if a part of his house caves in, it means the near arrival of such a traveller. Prison Entering a prison in a dream also means longevity, or reuniting with one's beloved. If one chooses to live in a sanctuary away from people in a dream, it means that he will be protected from sin. If a sick person leaves his prison cell in a dream, it means that he will recover from his illness. If a prisoner sees the gates of his jail open, or if there is a hole in the wall, or a ray of light, or if the ceiling of one's prison disappears and he can see the skies and stars above him, or if he can see them through the walls of his cell in a dream, it means that he will escape from jail. Mosque Its lights represent the noble retinue and the wise men of his epoch. The ceiling represents the knowledge contained in the books that protect his justice and his references. The minaret will then represent his chief minister or advisor. The pulpit represents his servant. The prayer niche represents his wife, or it may represent his lawful earnings, or a righteous and a chaste wife. If one sees a mosque burning in a dream, it means death, losses and political changes in the country. The main mosque of the town also represents the pious people dwelling therein, the men of knowledge, the wise men, devotion, or a hermitage. Its niche represents the leader of the people (Imam). Dirt (Earth) Dirt in a dream represents woman's money or property. Walking on dirt means soliciting money. Collecting dirt in a dream means saving money. Dusting the ceiling of one's shop and throwing it outside in a dream means business losses. Bathroom According to Imam Jaafar Al-Sadeq (see biography at the beginning of this book), the bathroom could symbolize seven things: (1) The patriarch of the family. (2) A valuable woman. Prison • Choosing one’s jail: God will save the dreamer from the malice of a woman who is tempting him to falter in view of the Quranic verse: “He said: Oh my Lord! Prison is more dear than that unto which they urge me, and if Thou fend not off their wiles from me I shall incline unto them and become of the foolish.” (“Yusuf” [Joseph], verse 33.)

Hermitage Occupying a hermitage or building one in a dream means rising in station. A beautiful and a newly built hermitage in the dream represents a wife. A hermitage in a dream also could mean migration, bewilderment, severing a friendship, hiding, power, or it could represent one's son. Mosque The mosque symbolizes the scholar, the master around whom disciples gather to attain perfection, do good to others, and recall and mention God.
• A mosque having been demolished: A religious person will die in that area.

Hearing board (Cabinet; Council; Court; Inquisitional court) If one's name is presented before a hearing board for review, and if he is nominated to fill a seat in any governmental department in a dream, it means that he may satisfy the requirements of such a position. Dome (Cupolead structure; Qubba; Shrine) Building a dome in a dream means marriage. Demolishing a dome means death or a divorce.
