However, the rain could also symbolize plagues and scourges that come from the sky, like swarms of locusts, hailstones, and tempests, especially if they are seen with fire or the waters are hot. Trees could also symbolize a quarrel or a fight, in view of their Arabic name, shagar, which is homonym for those words.
