Hand • Putting a hand under the armpit and drawing it back to find water in it: Will have money.
• Having an extra hand: (1) More influence and strength. (2) Will have a brother. (3) Will have a child.
• Being left-handed: Difficulties are ahead. (The word for left-handed in Arabic, Aasar, comes from ’osr, meaning “difficulty.)
• Doing something with the left hand: Will get what you want but late.

Incident - Central pillar of the house breaking A woman came to Prophet Muhammad, Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam, and said: "Oh Messenger of God, I saw in a dream that the central pillar which supports the ceiling of my house broke, and the ceiling caved in." Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) replied: "Your husband will return to his home from a journey." Soon, the husband returned home from a business trip, and the wife was happy. Coffin Or Ark • Buying or being offered a coffin or finding one at home: Will become a king or rule in some way or the other and gain wisdom, prestige, and reassurance, in view of a verse in the Holy Quran that reads: “And their Prophet said unto them: Lo! the token of his kingdom is that there shall come unto you the ark wherein is quietude from your Lord, and a remnant of that which the house of Moses and the house of Aaron left behind, the angels bearing it. Lo! herein shall be a token for you if (in truth) ye are believers.” (“Al-Baqarah” [The Cow], verse 248.)
• Manufacturing or ordering the building of a coffin: You are a benefactor and God will reward you.

Mattress If one does not like to sleep on his mattress in a dream and prefers to find another place to rest, it means that he will renounce his conjugal life. Folding one's mattress and placing it aside in a dream means leaving one's home for a long journey, divorcing one's wife, or avoiding to sleep with her for one reason or another, or it could mean the death of either the husband or the wife. Sitting over one's bed in a dream means gaining authority, or managing someone's business. Sleeping in a dream means heedlessness, or it could mean peace and tranquillity. Chair If one's wife is pregnant, then seeing oneself sitting on a chair in a dream means that she will beget a son. If one sees himself sitting on a chair and wearing a stately garment in a dream, it means that he will occupy the seat of knowledge, honor, reverence and that he will receive immediate benefits. If one's chair breaks in a dream, it may mean his death or that of his wife, or it could mean their separation, or losing one's authority at home or at work. A chair in a dream also signifies happiness and promotion for the one who sits on it, or it could mean spiritual success or winning Allah's forgiveness in the hereafter and entering the heavenly paradise. Arrival (Home coming) The arrival home of a traveller in a dream signifies relief after sustaining depression and distress, or it could mean recovering from an illness, or regaining a stronghold. If one finds himself depressed and annoyed with the arrival of the traveller in the dream, then his dream may signify having to ask for something from someone, or needing others, or confronting the unavoidable. Dog A dog in a dream also could represent a vile and an insolent woman who belong to a group of evildoing people and who are persistent in their enmity. A puppy in a dream represents a loved child. If it is a white puppy in the dream, it means that such a son will grow to be a believer. If it is a black puppy in the dream, it means that he will grow to govern the household and to presides over its people. A puppy in a dream also represents a child of adultery, a foundling who is left in the street, wrapped in a swaddle and who is brought home by an insolent person to rear him. Planet • Riding on a planet: Benefits, welfare, power, influence, and leadership.
• Planets under the ceiling: (1) Home will be destroyed (as, the home having no roof anymore, the planets could be seen from within the house). (2) The owner of the house will die.
• Eating planets: The dreamer is eating up people’s money and destroying them, except if he is a scientist or an astronomer, in which case it would mean that he will do something great and be better off. The crowd eating planets means death. Dream Interpreter: Various Islamic Scholars
Stream If one sees a stream flowing in the direction of his house, or garden in a dream, it means a marriage or conceiving a child. A stream of flowing blood rather than water in a dream represents the deviation of one's wife. If one sees a stream running off its course, or damaging people's crops in a dream, it means bad news. Blocking the path of a stream in a dream means separation between a husband and a wife, or avoiding a sinful action between unmarried relatives. If one sees himself standing behind a rivulet in a dream, it means that his wife will inherit him. If one sees the water of a stream flowing toward his own home or garden, and if he finds that its water has turned into blood in the dream, it means that someone will marry his wife after him. Drinking fresh water from a rivulet, a stream, or a river in a dream represents the joy of living or longevity. A murky water of a rivulet or a stream in a dream means a fright, difficulties, or a sickness. Streams in a dream also represent the veins and the blood that flows through the human body. Beehive In ancient times, if a king or ruler saw himself replacing the bees, it meant that he would select a heavily populated country, rich in legitimate resources, to add to his dominion. If he managed to enter their beehive, it meant that he would triumph and rule in the selected country. If he took the honey and left nothing to the bees, it meant that he would behave as a tyrant and confiscate the people’s property. Incident - The father that hid his money A man hid his money inside his house and went on a journey. On his way back home, he became sick. The man also owed money to some people, and he thought of telling one of his companions about the place of his money and to ask him to pay his debt, but he aspired for recovery and hoped to return home and pay his debts in person. During his journey, the man died. His son saw him in a dream and asked: "What did God do to you?" The father replied: "My condition is in abeyance, and it depends on some debts that must be paid first. I have some money hidden in such and such place. Please go and dig them up, pay people what I owe them, and enjoy the rest." Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Head • Carrying an alternative head: The dreamer is fighting a plague or trying to remedy something bad he had concocted.
• Seeing oneself having cut off people’s heads at one’s home: People will be driven to the dreamer and will come to his home of their own free will or will assemble there.
• Seeing horns on one’s head: The dreamer is an invincible man.29
• Seeing oneself with a big head: The dreamer has a big brain.
• Seeing oneself headless: The dreamer is ignorant and has little, if any, brains.

Sword • Striking someone with a sword: Will insult and slander him.
• Striking right and left with a sword amid Muslims: Making inappropriate or unethical statements.
• The sword’s lid or sheath breaking: Wife will die.

Circumcision Circumcision in a dream also means undergoing an operation of removing one's testicles, undergoing a prostate operation, or it may mean clearing one's name from slander and accusations, or it may mean separation between husband, wife and children, or children leaving their parent's home, If one discovers that he is circumcised in a dream, it means that he will become an apostate and forsake his religion for monetary gains. Spear if other weapons are seen together with a spear it symbolises power and superiority and that his instructions will be carried out. If no other weapons are seen with a spear then provided the spear has a point, a son or brother will be born in his home. And if it has no point then provided he is familiar with such a spear, only daughters will be born in his home. Jump • Jumping to cross a river, a pit, or a well, et cetera, and succeeding: A change for the better and will be saved from some evil and reach the safe shore very quickly.
• Jumping but staying late in that jump till withering away: Will die.

Weapon If he is travelling, it means that he will return home safely. If one is stripped from his weapon in a dream, it represents his weakness. If one adorns himself with a weapon in a dream, it means that he will acquire knowledge to help him overcome ignorant people, or wealth to shelter him from poverty, or it could mean victory over his enemy. Incident - The Effect of a Dream's Meaning During a pilgrimage to Mecca, a sheikh was told in a dream that he would die on such and such date. When he returned home, he held that dream to himself and waited for the time to come. Once he passed that date stated in his dream, he waited a few more days, then told someone about it, saying: "I would have hot told you about this dream, had the date not passed." The person replied: "Perhaps you miscalculated the date, or maybe it is a confused dream." After returning to his home, the sheikh died during that same night. This is the meaning of Prophet Muhammad saying: "A dream sits on the wing of a bird and will not take effect unless it is related to someone." Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Marriage • Conversely, marrying a religiously prohibited relative (wife’s sister, for example) who is alive and well: Will not support parents and in-laws.
• A woman dreaming of a dead man marrying and penetrating her: Her wealth will shrink, she will suffer from instability, and her luck will change. If the dead man took her to his home, which she had not seen before, she would die.
• Marrying a woman who then dies: Will endeavour in a matter, only to reap nothing but sorrow.
