Fasting • Fasting during two consecutive months to expiate or atone: The dreamer will repent for a sin.
• Dreaming that the Ramadan fast is due after the month is over: The dreamer will get ill.
• Fasting voluntarily: The dreamer will not be sick during that year in view of the saying by the Holy Prophet: “Fast and you will recover.”

Fasting Fasting the three white days of every month (i.e., the 13th, 14th, and the 15th days of the lunar month) in a dream means repayment of one's debts in instalments or teaching someone how to properly read the Quran or spreading knowledge. Fasting during the tenth day of the lunar month of Muharram in a dream represents asceticism, piety, renouncing the world or attending the pilgrimage to Mecca. Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Fasting Dreams about fasting have contradictory interpretations:
• Dreaming of being in the Muslims month of fasting (Ramadan): (1) Higher prices (inflation) and scarcity of foodstuffs. (2) Sound religion, end of worries, recovery from a disease, the settlement of debts.
• Having fasted the entire month of Ramadan: (1) Certainty after doubt. (2) If the dreamer was illiterate, he would memorize the Holy Quran.
• Dreaming of recognizing the utility of fasting and wishing to fast: Quick benefits from an unexpected source.
• Failing to fast during the month of Ramadan: (1) The dreamer is giving way to his instinct and passions. (2) The dreamer will have a blessed journey.
• Dreaming of having deliberately and overtly eaten throughout the month of Ramadan, instead of fasting like other Muslims: (1) The dreamer is disregarding religious rules. (2) The dreamer will commit a premeditated murder. Dream Interpreter: Various Islamic Scholars
Shaving the Head Dreaming of oneself as having shaved one's head during the month of Hajj is a glad tiding that one will proceed for Hajj. But if such a dream is seen during any other month besides Hajj it means that his capital (in monetary terms) will become exhausted. (This will be discussed in greater detail in this book). Marriage to One's Mother, Sister Etc. If a person dreams that he is marrying his mother, sister or any such person with whom marriage is forbidden is Islam-and such a dream is seen in any of the sacred months of Thil-Qa'dah, Thil-Hijjah, Muiharram or Rajab-it means he will proceed to Makkah and Madeenah. But if such a dream is not seen in any of the said months it means he will treat his relatives with kindness and serve them well. Thunder Hearing the sound of thunder in a dream also represents hymns, praising Allah Almighty, glorifying Him, or it could mean a sickness, fear, deafness, or the sound of drums in a wedding. If the one seeing the dream is an atheist, it means that he will be guided and have faith in Allah Almighty. If he is a sinner, it means that he will repent for his sins. Hearing the roaring of thunder in a dream on the first day of October means death. If it is heard during the first six days of that month, it means benefits, or lower prices, but if it is heard near the end of the month, then it means a plague or a disaster. Hearing the sound of thunder at any other time during the month of October in a dream means evil. If it is heard during the month of November in a dream, it means blessings for the land, prosperity, the spreading of Allah's words in a new land, the falling of a comet in a populated area, the death of a leader, a pollution that will devastate bird life, or a heavy rainstorm with limited damages. Fasting Fasting during the lunar month of Rajab in a dream means working for people in authority, or it could mean that one may be commissioned to work overseas, or it could mean going on a short trip. Fasting an extra day in doubt about one's proper religious performance in a dream means committing a sin or lack of vigilance and certitude about one's devotion. Fasting If one sees masses of people fasting in a dream, it could mean a famine. If one eats during the hours of observing the fast in a dream, it means that he will commit a sin, or it could mean indebtedness or falling sick. Fasting the month of Ramadan in a dream also means safety, protection from evil or repentance from sins. Fasting the extra six days following the festival day which concludes the holy month of Ramadan in a dream means patching one's prayers or paying charity or regretting one's faults.
