• A man who fears for his life, who is in jail, who has been taken captive, or who is ill dreaming of slaughtering a ram: Will be safe, in view of the legend of the Prophet Ibrahim, who was preparing to slaughter his son to obey God’s orders when the Almighty sent a ram from the sky to substitute for the son and be sacrificed instead. A warrior dreaming of slaughtering a ram: Will emerge victorious.

Record keepers Seeing the scribes of the records in one's dream brings him glad tidings in this life and in the next. If the person lives a pious life, it means that the heavenly paradise is his final abode, but if he is impious, it could represent a clear warning. Irrationality If one acts irrationally in a dream, it means that he will act with disgrace, stupidity or shamelessness in real life. Being irrational in a dream and intentionally using violent or insulting words, and acting deliberately in an evil way means despair of Allah's mercy. It also means refuting or opposing something. It is also interpreted to mean attending to one's prayers without the ritual ablution. Irrationality in a dream also may mean insolent behavior, or ill speaking of peoples honor or chastity. Sheep Shearing off the wool of a sheep in a dream is a warning that one should remain aloof for three days. Both the white sheep and the black sheep in a dream mean profit, though the benefits one draws from a white sheep are greater. Seeing a herd of sheep in a dream means continuous happiness. Walking by a slaughter house or a tripe shop and witnessing the heads and trotters of sheep in a dream mean longevity. Hell-fire Hell in a dream also represents loss of one's prestige, status and it means poverty after wealth, despair after comfort, unlawful earnings, insolence, and if it leads to an illness, it will end in a shocking death as a punishment. If it leads to employment, it will be a job serving a tyrant. If it leads to acquiring knowledge, it means inventing vain religious practices. If it leads to bearing a son, he will be the child of adultery. In general hell in a dream means excessive sexual desires, a slaughter house, a public bath, an oven, inventing a new religion, innovation, absence of truth, indulgence in what is forbidden, stinginess, denying the Day of Judgment, a blazing fire for the devils, joining with a group of evildoers in committing atrocities, denying the sovereignty of Allah Almighty and ascribing human characteristics to Him. Sparrow The sparrow has contradictory interpretations. It symbolizes: (1) A huge, great, and dangerous man in terms of money who is slow does not recognize people’s rights, and is harmful to most people. He is a wicked man, even a swindler, but knows how to be in perfect command. He is a skilful politician and an excellent decision maker. (2) A man of entertainment who has plenty of stories and good jokes and whom people take to be a fool. (3) A beautiful woman who has mercy on people. (4) A male child. (5) Praise. Incident - The Ruler and His Justice A dream interpreter once said: "I saw a ruler sitting in a high place, and people were looking at him. I interpreted my dream to mean the ruler's death and people's deliberation of his work. A few months later, the ruler died, and people engaged in talking about his deeds and judging of his work." Wooden bowl A wooden bowl in a dream also represents a woman, a housekeeper, the workplace, or one's shop. If one sees a gathering of people or scholars partaking in a sweet meal from a large wooden bowl in a dream, it represents a community project that unites people's hearts and allows them to share their knowledge. If one sees a group of people gathering to eat a fish or a piece of rotten meat in a dream, it means that a group of evil people are gathered to take advantage of a prostitute. Stool • Passing stool in a garbage dump, on a seacoast, or in a similar area where it is permissible to do so: According to Ibn Siren: a good omen. No more worries or pain.
• A well-known person throwing people’s shit at the dreamer: Hostility, opposing views, and injustice on the part of the thrower.
• Too much filth from people: Handicaps and prevailing evil.

An astrologer in a dream also may mean knowledge of people's secrets, curiosity, inquisitiveness, meddling in people's affairs, divulging people's secrets, soothsaying, fortune-telling, backbiting, predicting the future, hearsay, gossip, distress or trouble. Chess (Challenges; Game) Playing chess in a dream means mixing with all kinds of people. Playing chess in a dream also means deception, fights or a ploy. Seeing a chessboard, and if no one is playing it in a dream represents a strike, or people who are dismissed from their job. If one sees people playing it, then such people represent the leaders or the statesmen. The winner in a chess game in a dream is the winner of a political or a military maneuver. Whatever steps one takes in playing chess in a dream will be reflected in the political arena. Playing chess in a dream also could mean intending a fight, but not knowing whether he will win or lose. Funeral Ceremonies, Obsequies According to Daniel Al-Sagheer, (Jr.) (sic), quoted by Ibn Shaheen, dreaming of having died, been put on a bier and lifted up, and that people are walking in the funeral procession means dignity and high honours, but a flaw in religious faith, unless it is known that no burial took place after that. • Seeing one’s own funeral and people weeping and paying homage to the dreamer: Happy ending.
• Seeing one’s own funeral and nobody crying, but people rather speaking ill of the dreamer: Unhappy ending.
