Key Holding to a key that has no teeth in a dream means cheating an orphan of his inheritance, or becoming a guardian of an estate and deceiving its rightful heirs. Holding to the key of Paradise in a dream means acquiring knowledge, lawful wealth, or receiving an inheritance. Keys in a dream also represent the coffers they open. Seeing a key in a dream also means performing a pilgrimage to Mecca. A key made of iron in a dream represent a strong and a dangerous man. It also means openness in one's life. The Prophet Muhammad's (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) Being Presented With The Treasures Of Earth Narrated Abu Huraira: I heard Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) saying, "I have been sent with Jawami al-Kalim (i.e., the shortest expression carrying the widest meanings), and I was made victorious with awe (caste into the hearts of the enemy), and while I was sleeping, the keys of the treasures of the earth were brought to me and were put in my hand." Chewing food If one sees himself exaggeratedly chewing his food in a dream, it means disdain and indifference about seeking an honest livelihood. Paradise • Being driven or introduced to Paradise: (1) Death is near. (2) The dreamer will become wise and repent from sins at the hands of the person seen taking him to Paradise if that person can be identified.
• Being told, “Enter Paradise,” and refusing to obey: The dreamer is an apostate in view of a verse in the Holy Quran: “Lo! they who deny Our revelations and scorn them, for them the gates of Heaven will not be opened nor will they enter the Garden until the camel goeth through the needle’s eye. Thus do We requite the guilty.” (“Al-Araf [The Heights], verse 40.)

Satan • Satan dictating or teaching the dreamer certain words: He will make false statements, annoy people, or recite incorrect poetry.
• A demon entering the dreamer’s body or swallowing him: A trip fraught with dangers.

Key Opening a door or a lock without a key in a dream means attaining the same through prayers. Finding a key in a dream means finding a treasure, or profits from a farmland. If a wealthy person finds a key in his dream, it means that he owes alms tax and he should immediately distribute what he owes, pay charities and repent for his sins. Holding to the key of the holy Kabah in a dream means working for a ruler or an Imam. If a woman receives keys in a dream, it means her betrothal. Having difficulty to open a door, even with a key in a dream means hindrances in one's business, or failure to attain one's goal. A key in a dream also represents new knowledge for a scholar or a learned person. Cent (Money; Penny) Seeing one cent in a dream means an argument, falsehood, ostentation or pride. Swallowing a quarter and excreting it as a penny in a dream signifies that the person is a zendik or an atheist. Pennies in a dream signify evil, fights and speaking despicable words. Scorpion • Killing a scorpion: Money will go, then come back.
• A scorpion burning to death: An enemy will perish.
• Throwing a scorpion on one’s wife: Will sodomize her or commit some abomination with her.
• Finding a scorpion in one’s underwear or bedding: The dreamer’s wife is corrupt.
• Swallowing a scorpion: Will divulge one’s secret to the enemy.
• Scorpions in one’s stomach: Enemies from among relatives.

Vomit Vomiting is a reference to repentance of one’s own free will, unless it occurs with difficulty or the dreamer resents its taste. Vomiting while fasting, then splashing in the vomit: The dreamer has a debt that he could settle but would not, thus committing a disgusting sin.
• Drinking milk, then vomiting milk and honey: Repentance.
• Swallowing pearls and vomiting honey: The dreamer will learn the interpretation of the Holy Quran and use it.

Mountain Swallowing a mountain in a dream means commanding and controlling ruthless and strong men. Climbing a mountain until one reaches a flat surface in a dream means serving orphans, or nursing sick people. Entering a cave inside a mountain in a dream means reaching safety. The good or evil emanating from seeing a mountain in one's dream depend on its fertility or bareness. Climbing a mountain and enjoying its vegetations and its sweet fresh waters in a dream means sheltering one's chastity in the company of one's wife, or learning a knowledge or a trade that will satisfy one's needs. Sand In a dream, sand represents money. Carrying a handful of sand in a dream means pursuing a business. If one carries a heavy load of sand in a dream, it means that he will suffer for his sins. Swallowing sand or gathering it in a dream denotes savings. Walking on sand in a dream means pursuing either a spiritual or a mundane interest, or it could represent a sad event, a fight, or committing injustice toward one's own soul or against others. Knife A table knife in a dream represents a lazy person who does not like to work and who cheats when he does go to work. Using a table knife in a dream means voidance of a project one supports. A knife in a dream also implies a proof. A knife in a dream also means acquiring strength and prosperity at the hands of a servant or an employee. Swallowing a knife in a dream means depriving one's son from his inheritance, or stealing his money or property. If one's wife is pregnant, then seeing a knife in a dream means that she will beget a son. Sword If one is given a sheath without a sword in a dream, it means that he will keep something in trust. If the handle of one's sword breaks in the dream, it means that either one's father, uncle, aunt, or mother may die shortly. If the blade breaks in the dream, it means that one's servant, or assistant-worker may die shortly. If one sees swords flying in the air in a dream, they represent a plague. A sword in a dream also could represent one's anger, or his tight financial circumstances. Swallowing a sword in a dream means gathering the spoils of war. Pearl • Entering pearls into one’s mouth: Religious devotion.
• Throwing pearls from one’s mouth and people collecting them but not the dreamer himself: The latter is a preacher who does not apply his prediction to himself.
• Chewing pearls: Will backbite.
• Vomiting, chewing, then swallowing pearls: Will flout and slander people.
• Seeing or finding a pearl: (1) A woman whom the dreamer will marry or a servant. (2) Will have a good-looking boy in view of the following verse from the Holy Quran describing some of the merits of Paradise: “And will go round about them perpetual youths: If thou seest them, thou wouldst think them scattered pearls.” (“Al-Dahr” [Time], also named “Al-Insan” [The Human Being], verse 19.) Star Eating stars in a dream means swindling people of their money. Swallowing a star in a dream means mixing with noble people and sharing one's personal life with them, or it could mean insulting or slandering the companions of Allah's Prophet Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam. Sucking on a star in a dream means learning at the hands of great scholars or a wise sheikh. If a Fortuneteller or an astrologer sees himself eating stars in a dream, it means that he will be selected to fill an important job from which he will prosper. Knife • Stealing the knife of an educator: The dreamer has a burning passion for one of his sons.
• Swallowing a knife: The dreamer will eat up part of the money of his son.
• A man whose wife is pregnant dreaming of having a knife: She will safely deliver a child, whether male or female depending on other signs in the dream. And so is the case with a spear.
• Being given a knife as a sole weapon: Will have a male child or find a brother or will enjoy welfare.
• A person on trial dreaming of wielding a knife: Will triumph as his evidence will prevail.
• Slaughtering with a knife: Will eat a slaughtered bird or animal.
• Lacerating one’s hands with a knife: Will see something spectacular.

Lips Lips in a dream also represent a door attendant, boys, guards, locks, knowledge, guidance, food, drinks, marriage, happiness, sadness, or keeping secrets. Having no lips in a dream means loosing any of the above, or one's dream could mean a broken door, or loosing one's keys, or perhaps it could mean the death of one's parents, husband or wife. Lips in a dream also represent the livelihood of singers or musicians who play wind instruments for a living, or the livelihood of a glass blower. If one's lips look thin and rosy in a dream, they denote clarity of speech, guidance, good food, good drink and happiness. Thick lips with black or blue color in a dream represent laziness, languor, failure to present a verifiable proof or to bring a strong witness, or they could mean discomfort, or difficulty in earning one's livelihood. If a sick person sees his lips black or blue in a dream, it could mean his death. Closed lips in a dream represent one's eyelids, a vagina, the anus, the banks of a river or a well. Food If one finds his mouth filled with food, and if there is still a cavity for more food in the dream, it means confusion, or it could represent the balance of his life in this world. If one manages to grind and swallow the food in his mouth in a dream, it means that he will overcome his difficulties. Receiving a sour or a bitter tasting food from someone in a dream means hearing harsh words, and the same interpretation is given if one offers someone sour or bitter food in a dream. If he eats it, then it means sorrow, sadness and distress. If one finds himself eating it patiently and thanks Allah Almighty for it in the dream, it means that he will escape from such dangers.
