Eagle Hearing the cry of an eagle in a dream means a fight. Eating the flesh of an eagle or getting hold of some of its feathers in a dream means receiving money from a ruler. If an eagle catches someone and soars away with him horizontally in a dream, it means travels. If he flies away with him vertically in the dream, it means death. Vulture • Owning a disobedient vulture without fearing it much: Will be dignified but become tyrannical and stubborn. Likewise, the dreamer will act as a tyrant in religious matters.55
• Seizing some of the vulture’s feathers or bones: Will be granted a fortune by a great king.
• Receiving a baby vulture as a gift: Will be blessed with a son who will become well noted. Conversely, the same dream during daytime means the dreamer will get so ill as to be nearing death. If he is scratched by the vulture, the disease will last quite a long time.

Workhorse (Nag) A workhorse in a dream represents man's endeavor and serious striving. The more fit a workhorse in a dream, the better is one's determination and drive. If a workhorse speaks to a man in a dream, it means income and fame. Riding on the back of a workhorse in a dream means taking a long journey, or it could mean taking money from one's wife. Resuscitate (Live Again) • Marrying a resuscitated woman and taking her to one’s house: Will do something, then regret it.
• Marrying a resuscitated woman, taking her to one’s house, penetrating her, and spreading her discharge all over one’s body: Will regret some act, lose as a result of it, and experience worries, but things will be set right later on. The more discharge there was on the dreamer’s body, the better. The same interpretation would apply if the hero of the dream was a woman and the discharge a man’s sperm. Bath Taking a bath in a dream means payment of one's debts, dispelling one's fear or stress, release from prison, attending a pilgrimage or recovering from an illness. If in his dream, one shaves his hair when taking a bath, it means loss of his wealth or cheating on his wife. Shaving the pubic region in a dream represents benefits and increases in pubic hair in a dream means increase in money. Bath in itself denotes many things. Take flight (Flee; Run away) If one sees himself turning and running away in the face of a battle in a dream, it means that he may contract a venereal disease, or suffer from syphilis. Taking flight in a dream also may mean reverting to what is proper. On the other hand, it may mean falling into sin to earn Allah's wrath and the despise of the common people. If one sees himself taking refuge in a group of people, enticing them to fight in a dream, it means that he is adventuring with his head by walking the path of evil, or by backbiting others. Bird The singing of birds in a dream means hearing good words or receiving a valuable knowledge. A flock of birds in a dream represents easy earned wealth. A bird in a dream also represents a boy. Capturing a bird in a dream means having control over a powerful person. Killing a bird in a dream means fulfilling one's goal. Starling (zool.) In a dream, a starling represents an ascetic, one who surrenders to Allah's will, a true believer, a patient man, a traveller or a companion on the road. If one sees himself holding a starling in a dream, it means that he will meet someone of such caliber. If he eats its flesh, or pulls out its feathers in the dream, it means that he will receive benefits. A starling in a dream also may represent the element of mixing good deeds with bad ones, or a person who is neither rich or poor, neither honest or vile. Marriage • Seeing a woman taking a second husband can have three interpretations: (1) If she is pregnant, she will give birth to a girl. (2) The lady is trying to get her daughter married. (3) Dispute over marriage between the lady and her husband.
• Marriage contract involving an unidentified woman: Death, if the bride-groom is ill. Otherwise, it means that the dreamer will sign a contract that will bring him power or will testify against a dead person. Because women symbolize power, penetration is tantamount to killing and the penis is likened to a dagger or a spear stab that causes bloodshed.

Baby crow (Fledgling; Nestling) A fledgling crow in a dream represents poverty, need, separation from one's parents and segregation from one's relatives or clan. If one is experiencing such adverse conditions in wakefulness, then seeing a fledgling crow in a dream means satisfaction of one's needs and reunion with his family. When the egg hatches and the baby crow comes out of it, the parents shy away from their fledgling and remain distant from the nest. Then Allah Almighty will provide the nestling crow with various types of flies to eat from. Peacock The peacock symbolizes smiling people, sight of whom in the morning with their good mood is a nice augury. But dreaming of a peacock sometimes gives rise to opposing interpretations. To some it refers to a crown, nice clothes, and jewels, the aesthetic sense, the admiration of and passion for beauty, the pleasurable husband or wife, and the good children. To others it means speaking ill of others, vanity, resorting to one’s enemies, the termination of blessings, and the forthcoming absence of prosperity and ease to experience poverty or hardly manage to subsist.

Ring • Taking a gold ring from the Lord: Bad omen. Similarly bad are rings made of iron, the latter being the ornament of those who reside in Hell, and rings made of copper whose name in Arabic is nahhas, from nahs, meaning “bad luck” or “a jinx.” One more reason, adds Ibn Siren, is that copper is the metal used in manufacturing the rings of the jinn.
• Taking a silver ring from the Holy Prophet or from a religious scholar: The dreamer will acquire learning. In case the ring was made of silver, iron, or copper, the dream would have a very negative interpretation.
• Wearing a ring: Renewal of what the ring refers to, depending on its alloy or composition.

Grass The same interpretation is given if one sees feathers growing over his body. If poisonous weeds grow over one's body in a dream, they represent an illness or death. As grass is cattle's food and cattle represents people's wealth, then gathering and eating grass in a dream means prosperity. If an ascetic sees himself eating grass in a dream, it means that he will revert to desiring the world and its pleasures, and consequently, he will be deceived by it. Wild grass in a dream represent bad earnings and a miserable life. Falcon If one receives or holds a falcon in a dream, it means that he will bear a son who will become a very important person of his time. If one happens to be a politician, it means that he will gain greater advancements in his life. If the falcon flies away in the dream, it means that one will lose his seat but retain his fame. If one catches few feathers of a falcon in a dream, it means that some power will remain in his hand and serve his interests. Slaughtering a falcon in a dream means the death of a king or a ruler. Eating falcon's meat in a dream means a financial endowment given by a ruler. If one kills a falcon inside his house in a dream, it means that he will capture a thief. If a falcon flies away from under one's chair in a dream, it means that he will walk in the company of a person whose earnings are unlawful. Clothes • The dead giving the dreamer something of what he is wearing and the former wearing it in turn: Deep trouble and an acute disease. If the cloth was left till the dead took it back, it means that the dreamer will quickly depart from this world.
• A dead person giving the dreamer a tailored cloth that does not belong to the former and the latter taking and wearing it, then returning it to the dead, who wears it in turn: Those who live under the dreamer’s roof will die unless he had not returned the cloth to the dead, in which case the dreamer’s wealth will increase.
• The dead giving the dreamer a tattered or dirty cloth: Will commit abominations.
• Giving a cloth to the dead, but the latter neither unfolding nor wearing it: Harm will befall the dreamer’s fortune or health, but recovery will follow.

Peacock • Slaughtering a peahen: The death of such a foreign lady; eating its meat means that the dreamer will inherit from her or will strike it rich through an alien woman.
• A peacock: A foreign king. Befriending it means that the dreamer will make friends with such a monarch.
• Catching and owning a peacock: The dreamer will have his way with or even dominate a foreign king.
• Subduing a peahen: Will have money and children.
• Finding peahen eggs: Will have a male child.
• Plucking some feathers from a peahen: Will obtain money from a woman or because of her. In case the dreamer also seizes some of its eggs, he will possess money through the offspring of such a woman.
