Medicine Licking medicine with one's index finger in a dream means proclaiming the truth, or it could mean profits from the direction the index finger is pointing at in the dream. Swallowing medicinal powder means greed, self-absorption, reclusion and withdrawal. Taking liquid medicine orally means profits. Swallowing pills in a dream means obliging a sinner to correct himself, to repent, or to go on the straight path. It also could mean caring to teach an ignorant person. Ring • Rings being sold in the market: Notables or leaders are selling their assets.

Cock The cock and the hen represent a foreign slave, a bondsman, or the offspring of a bondman, because those birds do not fly. The cock also symbolizes an enthusiastic and energetic man—one whose voice is heard, like the muath-thin or muezzin (he who calls people to pray). Likewise, it refers to a man of influence but who is under someone else’s authority, again because despite its huge size, crest, or comb that stands like a crown on its head, the cock is owned by somebody and cannot fly. Moustache • Too much hair in the moustaches (thick moustaches): Bad omen.

Sheep The ram symbolizes the huge and invincible man, like the sultan, the imam, the emir (or prince), the army commander, et cetera. It also refers to the Muath-thin (the one who calls people for prayer) or the shepherd. The ram that has lost its horns is a humiliated or impotent man, since the power of the ram resides in its horns. It also represents the isolated person, the deposed ruler, or the disappointed man, despoiled of his weapons and supporters. A black ewe is an Arab woman, a white one, a foreigner.

Ring Lead rings in a dream mean weak authority. If one sends his ring to some people who returns it to him in the dream, it means that he is asking to betroth someone from such a family, but his request will be declined. Twisting a rope (Splice; Entwine; Twine) To splice a rope or a thread, or to twist a rope around oneself, or to whorl it around a spindle, or to make a bobbin in a dream means undertaking a journey. If it comes out thin in the dream, then the outcome of one's journey is meager. If the rope comes out thick and strong in the dream, it means that the outcome of one's journey is beneficial. Bite If one's fingers bleed from such bite in a dream, it means tribulations caused by one's own shortcomings. A bite in a dream also signifies extreme anger. • Snake meat: Money from an enemy. Eating it raw means the enemy will be absent.
• Lion meat: Money from the sultan (ruler or supreme authority in one’s place).

Carpet Seeing a carpet spread for one to sit on it and whose owner is unknown in an unknown place in a dream means that one will emigrate to a foreign land and succeed in establishing a good livelihood for himself. If in such a place the carpet is thin in the dream, it means worldly gains and longevity. Sitting on a carpet in a dream also means associating with leaders and judges. If one's carpet is stolen, burned or thinned in a dream, it means nearing the term of his life in this world, afflictions, illness or emaciation. Dye • A man dying his fingers with henna: He is using the rosary very often.
• A man dreaming that both hands are dyed with henna: He is outspoken and shows all that he has on his mind or in his hands, be it good or bad. If the hands are tattooed with henna, he will trick his family into selling some furniture to cover a deficit to avoid humiliation and his enemy’s jubilation.
• A man seeing ugly dye on his palm: Hardships should be anticipated.
• A man seeing ugly dye on his right hand: He will kill somebody.

Jujube (Fruit) In a dream, a jujube fruit represents a noble, strong and a cheerful person who benefits people at large, and who is firm and patient in the face of adversities. Sucking the juice of a jujube fruit in a dream means gaining power. In a dream, a jujube fruit also represents the fingers of a woman who had applied henna to her hands for a wedding or for a religious ceremony.
