Finger If the fingers are interpreted as money, then the fingernails represent the due alms tax. (arb. Zakat). Likewise, it refers to a man of influence but who is under someone else’s authority, again because despite its huge size, crest, or comb that stands like a crown on its head, the cock is owned by somebody and cannot fly. Angel • Seeing birds flying without being able to identify their species: Those are angels who will avenge the oppressed.

Sky • Seeing numerous gates of Heaven: A reference to usury.

• Being close to the sky: The dreamer is close to God or, if his ambitions are not so great, to his superior and his prayers will be heard.
