Donkey The donkey symbolizes man’s endeavours and luck, commensurate with its weight and size. Only the braying of that animal is seen as a bad omen.
• A fat donkey: Money for the owner.
• A lean donkey: Poverty of the owner.
• A tall donkey: Man’s prestige.
• A beautiful donkey: The dreamer will look better.
• A white donkey: The dreamer is pious and has a certain style.
• A black donkey: Joy, sovereignty, awe, and majestic power. The donkey was Ibn Siren's favourite animal and black his favourite color (for dreams).

Bolter (Sieve; Sifter) A bolter in a dream signifies spiritual guidance, repentance from sin, a just judge who examines carefully each case, canvases the truth and discerns between truth and falsehood. A bolter in a dream also represents a man and a woman who do not carry evil in them. Cummerbund If one is rich, then it means that he will have a great friend to support him and whose inner thoughts and intentions are better than what one may think. If a poor person ties a cummerbund around his waist in a dream, it means extra earnings or power. If the cummerbund is studded and adorned with jewels in the dream, then such jewels represent one's helpers, supporters or obedient subjects. Water carrier He also represents one who delivers people's belongings to their hands. A water carrier in a dream also may denote evil, burdens, fights, dancing, or whirling. If a water carrier delivers someone a glass of water in a dream and receives money for it, it represents a responsibility or a burden he will carry, or perhaps that the other person may receive accumulated profits from his business. Shuaib (Allah's prophet Shuaib, Alayhi-Salam, a great-grandson of Madyan and one of the children of Allah's prophet Abraham, Alayhi-Salam.) Seeing him a dream means that one lives among people who fake their measures, cheat in their weight, withhold things that are due and do mischief. Such people will cause him harm, though at the end one will triumph over them, beget daughters and live happily with them. Abacus If they look dirty, greasy and rough to handle in the dream, then they denote the ill management of one's life or business. If one sees an abacus in such a condition in his dream, it may also represent unsanitary food preparation, a greasy spoon restaurant, or it could mean abating the declared weight or value of a merchandise. An abacus in a dream also may represent a well behaved child, a student, a teacher, or a judge. If one turns into an abacus in a dream, it means an illness or a calamity. Ride • Riding poorly: Will act whimsically.
• Riding on the neck of a human being: Will die and the ridden person will carry the dreamer’s coffin or attend his funeral. It also symbolizes difficult matters. If the rider falls from that neck, the matter being pursued will not be achieved.
• Riding an animal (horse, donkey, camel, et cetera): Dignity and fulfilment of desires.

Diving If one brings a pearl out of the water in a dream, it means marriage or acquiring knowledge or discovering a treasure. If one dives into a river and finds it difficult to come out of the waters in the dream, it means that he will suffer from burdens he cannot carry, or bear patience with adversities. Ribs If one sees his ribs standing out, or exposed in a dream, he may face punishment for a crime or a sin he has committed. If one's ribs grow strong and the flesh surrounding them becomes healthier in a dream, then they represent prosperity, recovering from an illness, gaining weight, or growing fat. If one sees himself in a dream without ribs, it means that he will lose what the ribs represent of either a wife, a child, money or perhaps, he could have engaged in something wrong, thinking it to be right. One's ribs in a dream also mean a sickness, or bending of one's shoulders because of old age. Eating one's own ribs in a dream means becoming a burden to his family and relatives, or it could mean that he may sell wood for living, or work at a lumberyard. Wash It could also refer to an honest man who brings back to the right path many people who had gone astray or were misleading others.
• Lying on a mortuary washing table: Promotion and the end of worries.
• One or more dead persons requesting the dreamer to wash their clothes: The dreamer is requested to recall God, pray for someone, give sadaqa, or alms, settle a debt, satisfy an adversary, or carry out a will.

Sheep • Slaughtering a ram without knowing why, but by observing the Islamic slaughtering rites: Will unexpectedly triumph over someone or testify truthfully against him. If the Muslim rituals are not observed, it means that the dreamer will kill, torture, or commit an injustice.
• Slaughtering a lamb not for eating: One of the children of the dreamer or one of his other relatives will die.
• Being sexually assaulted by a ram: Will be harmed by the enemy, especially if it had also tossed the dreamer with its horns—in which case it would mean insult and injury.

Scale (Balance; Measure) Seeing a scale in a dream means renewal of one's business. Depending one the truthfulness by which one weighs his business, or product, a scale in a dream also means profits or a fine. Receiving a scale as a gift in a dream means that one may become a judge. The same applies if one sees himself transformed into a scale in a dream. If one sees merchants short weighing their merchandise in a dream, then a scale will represent a judge who deviates from justice. Porter (Carrier; Carrying weight; Burdens; Forbearance; Serving others) In a dream, a porter or a carrier represents a school bus driver who is entrusted with bringing the children to school, then taking them back home. Whatever appearance he shows in the dream, it will indicate the mental state of the school bus driver. A porter in a dream also represents someone who is carrying his own sins and burdens. To see oneself as a porter in a dream means doing penance. If a porter enters before a sick person in a dream, it means recovering from an illness. Borrowing Borrowing or lending in a dream represents the importance of, or one's need for such an object or his love for it. Thus, the enchantment which is derived from borrowing or lending an object to satisfy such things as love, attachment or need may be temporary. To borrow a bad object or something which is used for evil purpose or something one can do without, or an unnecessary thing means that one will suffer because of it, though one's sufferings will not last. Mountain • A mountain taking off and hovering over people’s heads: The king will terrorize his subjects as, says Ibn Siren, this is what happened to the children of Israel when God lifted the mountain and let it glide over them to terrorize them or deter them from disobedience.
• Mountains exploding or being shattered: A harbinger of war and schisms in which flocks of people will perish, as this is one of the signs of the end of the world.
• Climbing on a mountain and drinking water from its springs: Will be given a province or a high post, if eligible, or achieve gains, if in business.

Fart If one forces himself to break wind in a dream, it means that he will carry a burden greater than he can bear. If one breaks wind along with passing gas in his dream, it means that he will attain success in his life, and he will receive honor and profits from an important business trip. However, it is possible that his interests will become diverse, or that he could lose his focus, then he will return home free from such burdens. To fart from the mouth in a dream means faltering or a slip of a tongue, an accident, suffering from gum irritation, a stroke that will affect one's speech, or it could mean developing ill habits that will cause him to feel ashamed of himself in public. Pearl Throwing pearls to a swine or over a trash pile in a dream means giving knowledge to people who are not worthy of it, or people who do not understand it and who will consequently mock him. Burning pearls to cook with them rather than wood in a dream means putting a heavy burden on someone who cannot carry it and consequently having him explode. Large pearls in a dream provide for better connotations than the small ones. Pierced pearls in a dream mean easy and fast coming money. Pearls in a dream also may represent tears. Breast (Woman's milk-producing glands) A woman's breast in a dream represents one's wife, progeny and a large property. They also represent honor and prosperity. Their beauty is her beauty, and their ailment is her illness. If one sees a woman hanging down from her breast in a dream, it means that she has committed adultery and that she will give birth to a bastard son. If a man sees milk coming from his breast, and if he is poor, it means that his poverty will end, his life will be a long one, and he will even carry the financial responsibility of caring for two of his brothers. Carrying the Dead if a person sees himself carrying a dead person in any manner other than the normal manner of carrying a bier or corpse it means he will carry a burden of haraam wealth. Some interpreters say that the same dream could mean that he is spending his wealth on some pervert. If a person sees himself as carrying a dead person in a normal way it means he will either obey and follow the ruler of the time or he will take upon himself some of his responsibilities. Old woman An emaciated old woman in a dream represents a year of drought. If she gains weight and turns beautiful in the dream, she represents changes in the weather conditions, bringing a prosperous and a happy end for the farmers in that year. An ostentatious old woman in a dream represents a prosperous life, or good news that will arrive shortly. If she looks frowning or unhappy in the dream, then she represents distress and loss of prestige. If she looks ugly in the dream, she represents facing adverse conditions. If she is naked in the dream, she represents a scandal. If an old woman enters a house in a dream, it means prosperity and business success and if she leaves a house in the dream, it means the opposite.
