Brandishing A Sword Abu Musa reported Allah's Messenger (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) as saying: I dreamt (while asleep) that I was about to migrate from Mecca to a land abounding in palmtrees and I guessed that it would be Yamama or Hajar, but it was the city of Yathrib (the old name of Medina), and I saw in this dream of mine that I was brandishing a sword and its upper end was broken and this is what fell (in the form of misfortune to the believers on the Day of Uhud). I brandished (the sword) for the second time and it became all right and this is what came to be true when Allah granted us victory and solidarity of the believers. And I saw therein cows also and Allah is the Doer of good. These meant the group from amongst the believers on the Day of Uhud and the goodness which Allah brought after that and the reward of attestation of his Truth which Allah brought to us after the Day of Badr. Cow The same interpretation of horses colours should apply to cows, which, as mentioned, refer to women or years.

Gazelle If one receives the gift of a gazelle in a dream, it means that he will receive an inheritance and become wealthy. A gazelle in a dream also represents a child. If a gazelle enters someone's house in a dream, it means that he will marry off his son. If a gazelle jumps at someone in his dream, it means that his wife will rebel against him. Running to catch a gazelle in a dream means gaining strength. Owning a gazelle in a dream also means earning lawful money or a marriage to a noble woman. Transformation If one sees himself transformed into a bridge in a dream, it means that he may become a ruler, a wise man, or a man of knowledge whom people will seek to benefit from his wisdom. Gazelle • Turning into a deer, a buck, or a gazelle: Will enjoy the delights of this world.
• Capturing a gazelle: Inheritance and abundant means.
• Owning a gazelle: God will bless the money the dreamer earns, and he will marry a noble girl.
• Introducing a gazelle in one’s house: (1) If the dreamer is a man: Will marry his daughter to a good person. (2) If the dreamer is a pregnant woman: Will give birth to a boy.
• Eating venison: Will obtain money from a pretty woman.

Civet (Castor; Civet cat; A fatty substance with a musk like scent which is secreted by a gland near the genitals of a civet, a deer or a beaver. This substance is also used in making perfumes.) In a dream, a civet represents honorable profits or valuable properties, botanical gardens, a school from which one can acquire knowledge and draw benefits, or a business from which one can make profits, or it could mean a profitable leather trade. If one prepares the civet on fire in the dream, it means that he is preparing amber perfume, musk or aloe perfume that is extracted from an aromatic heartwood of the mezereum tree family. Milk Drinking the milk of any beasts in a dream represents doubt about one's religion. Drinking zebra's milk in a dream also means an illness. Animal • Marrying any kind of animal: Will marry a woman having similarities to such an animal.
• If the animal is consenting: The woman will go in the husband’s direction, be it right or wrong.
• Domestic animals turning wild: Evil and harm and vice versa.
• Plenty of beasts: The rural population.
• Turning into a deer or any other kind of wild animal: Will isolate yourself from the Muslim community.
• The milk of wild beasts: Rare and scarce money.
• Drinking the milk of wild beasts: Religious enlightenment and asceticism.

Incident - seeing a battle between the Sun and the Moon Once the Caliph Omar Bin Al-Khattab, God be pleased with him, appointed a judge for Syria. When the man left Mecca, one night he saw in a dream that the sun, the moon, and the stars were fighting against one another. Then, the man himself became a star and participated in the fight in the dream. Halfway through his journey, the man returned to Medina and told the Caliph about his dream. Span (Hand; Measure) In a dream, a span denotes architecture, renewing one's wardrobe, or travel. A span in a dream also could represent a compass, or the male sexual organ. Ape The ape (or monkey as well) is a poor man deprived of his means of living. It belongs to the category of human beings who have been metamorphosed as a result of a legendary curse. It represents the wicked, spiteful, and cursing individual, the same as it symbolizes a Jew (according to the ancient Arabs) or a person who commits major sins.
• Fighting and overpowering an ape: Will be ill but recover, unless the ape had the upper hand.

War (Fight) In a dream, war means deception, betrayal, misleading, or trickery. War in a dream also means inflation, rising prices, a plague, food lines, adversities and stress. Incident - seeing a battle between the Sun and the Moon Omar asked: "When you became a star in the dream, did you fight on the side of the sun or that of the moon?" The man replied: "I fought on the side of the moon." Omar replied: "Go away, and do not work for me." Owl In a dream, an owl represents a tyrant ruler, or a haughty and a dangerous thief who works alone without helpers. Jerboa (Rodent) A jerboa in a dream represents a liar who often swears in Allah's Name that he is speaking the truth. Weeping or laughter Seeing oneself as weeping will be interpreted as joy and happiness as long as such weeping is not done with sound, screaming or tearing one's collar to pieces as when mourning. One the contrary joy, happiness, merry-making, laughter, dancing etc. will be interpreted as grief and sorrow. Donkey • Hearing the cry of a donkey and similar animals without seeing them: Torrential rain.

Hunt (Food) In a dream, a hunt represents a booty or profits. If one hunts a deer or a rabbit in his dream, it means money and profits. If one hunts for sport in the dream, it means backbiting or slandering a woman. If one sees himself hunting with hunting dogs in a dream, it means that he will fulfill a long desired wish. If one sees dogs going to hunt in a dream, it means good news for everyone, or it could mean engaging in an act, or establishing a business. If he sees the dogs returning from the hunt in a dream, it means dispelling fears, or shortage of work. Anger Becoming angry for someone else's sake in a dream signifies a corrupt contract, a tainted agreement, a marriage consent with a hidden intent of a divorce to follow, fighting for unlawful earnings, or it could mean accumulating money from usury.
