I saw Abu Qatada who also said: I used to see dreams which made me sick until I heard Allah's Messenger (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) as saying: Good dreams are from Allah, so if any one of you sees which he likes he should not disclose it to one but whom he loves, but if he sees something which he does not like he should spit on his left side thrice and seek refuge with Allah from the mischief of the Satan and its mischief (i.e. of the dream), and he should not relate it to anyone, then it would not harm him. Leprosy It also means being innocent from false allegations, or being subject to people's slanders. If one's leprous condition spreads throughout his entire body in the dream, it means a lasting prosperity. Omar If one sees Omar smiling in a dream, it means that he follows the correct precepts of Allah's Messenger, Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam, and emulates his practices. Seeing him in a dream also means that justice and truth will prevail in his time, or that he is a trustworthy person, or that the propagation of truth is prominent in his time. Seeing him in a dream also could mean signing a peace treaty with one's enemy, annihilating hatred with love, good luck with one's in-laws, renouncing one's attachment to worldly things, though being capable of winning it, or presiding over people with justice, love and compassion. Visiting holy sites Visiting the Prophet's Mosque in Medina in a dream means seeking Allah's nearness and his pleasure through good deeds. It also means feeling safe, mixing with people of knowledge, associating with people of religious ranks, joining the company of knowledge seekers, and developing sincere love for the family of Allah's Prophet, Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam, serving and loving those who love his progeny. Visiting the Prophet's Mosque (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) in a dream also means love, knowledge and guidance. Visiting Al-Aqsa Sacred Mosque in Jerusalem in a dream means blessings, understanding the inner meaning of important spiritual subjects and miraculous events, or reflecting upon the Nocturnal Journey of Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam), the night in which the eight heavens were decorated to receive and honor him when he was called upon to come before Allah Almighty. Fat If one eats the fat of a non-permissible animal (beats, vultures, etcetera) in a dream, it means earning unlawful money, committing adultery, rejecting one's religion or fostering forbidden acts. Using fat as medicine in a dream means recovering from an illness. Fat in a dream also means joy, happiness or festivities. Marriage to One's Mother, Sister Etc. If a person dreams that he is marrying his mother, sister or any such person with whom marriage is forbidden is Islam-and such a dream is seen in any of the sacred months of Thil-Qa'dah, Thil-Hijjah, Muiharram or Rajab-it means he will proceed to Makkah and Madeenah. But if such a dream is not seen in any of the said months it means he will treat his relatives with kindness and serve them well. Angel • Angels descending on graves: Devout people will be buried there.
• Angels in a souk (marketplace): Cheating is taking place there.
• Flying with the angels and rising with them to the sky, not to return: Will be honoured in this world, then die as a martyr.
• Contemplating the angels: Catastrophe or something will befall the dreamer’s children and fortune, in view of the Quranic verse: “The Day they see the angels, no joy will there be to the criminals that Day: the (angels) will say there is a barrier forbidden (to you) altogether!” (“Al-Furqan” [The Criterion], verse 22). Painter The characteristics of such a person in the dream may be that of a hypocrite in wakefulness, or an ostentatious person, a toadying person, a hypocrite, a panegyrist, or a lauding person, though he mostly looks as a good, sincere and a hard working person. A painter in a dream also represents a person who loves flattery, self-adulation, an eloquently speaking person, a liar, one who fails his promises, or he could represent strength and authority. Doomsday • A man at war dreaming of Doomsday: Will triumph.
• Dreaming that the hour has come for you alone: Will die.
• Dreaming of the atrocities of Doomsday, then seeing everything returning to normal: (1) Justice will replace injustice inflicted by most unfair people. (2) The dreamer is immersed in sins, asking impossible things, determined to keep lying, and refusing to repent, owing to the Quranic verse: “Nay, but that hath become clear unto them which before they used to hide. Seeing A Good Dream And A Bad Dream Narrated Abu Salama: I used to see a dream which would make me sick till I heard Abu Qatada saying, "I too, used to see a dream which would make me sick till I heard the Prophet saying, "A good dream is from Allah, so if anyone of you saw a dream which he liked, he should not tell it to anybody except to the one whom he loves, and if he saw a dream which he disliked, then he should seek refuge with Allah from its evil and from the evil of Satan, and spit three times (on his left) and should not tell it to anybody, for it will not harm him. Underwear (Panties; Underpants) One's underwear in a dream represents his chastity. If one discovers wetness in his underpants in a dream, it means that his wife is pregnant. Seeing one's underpants soiled with Feces in a dream means divorce. Chard (Swiss chard) In a dream, chard means blessings and profits. If one eats it raw in a dream, it means continuous indebtedness or indulging in loathsome and suspicious acts such as practicing anal intercourse with one's wife or homosexuality or performing the forbidden sexual intercourse with one's wife during her menstrual period. Ride Should he meanwhile fall down in the dream, it means that such a trial will not take place. Toilet To fall into a toilet in a dream means imprisonment. Pouring honey or milk into the toilet bowl, or urinating blood in a dream means sodomizing. Hug To embrace a woman in a dream means embracing the pleasures and attractions of this world and to despair of any reward in the hereafter. To hold tight to a piece of fruit, or to endear certain food one loves in a dream means easy profits or lawful earnings. If an unmarried person holds tight or embraces a garment in a dream, it means that he will get married. If one hugs a pair of shoes in a dream, it means that he will hold a new position or a job that will make him extremely happy. Visiting holy sites in a dream also means seeking knowledge and wisdom, having love for charitable people, associating with good people, seeking to learn one's religion at the hand of a pious teacher, to receive blessings and benefits in this life and in the next. Falcon A falcon in a dream represents a thief, might, victory over one's enemy, satisfying one's purpose, love to have many children, marriage, slaves, mistresses, precious stones, health, relief, or it could mean love to travel. A falcon in a dream also means cessation of life, capture, hunting, shackles, imprisonment, ties, etcetera. If it appears well trained, obedient and responsive in the dream, it means walking in the company of an important person who is surrounded with an impressive entourage. If one sees a falcon flying and gathering a flock of falcons in a dream, it means building an army. Zikr (Hymn; Remembrance of Allah; Songs of Allah's love; Supplications) If one sees himself in a dream participating in a circle of people remembering Allah Almighty, or calling upon His most beautiful name, or invoking His divine attributes, or reading the Quran, or reciting devotional songs, it means that such location will be built as a holy place to celebrate Allah's praises. The goodness of that place depends on the quality of reading, or the degree of devotion seen in the dream. When it is an ascetic song in the dream, it means that one's deputyship is established correctly, but if one sees himself singing a sensual love song, then it means temptations. Racing Horse racing in a dream means indulging in what is forbidden, arrogance, self-deceit, or guaranteeing the success of what has no prospect of succeeding. Horse racing in a dream also could mean engaging in a dangerous adventure that could lead to one's death, corruption and divisiveness. Pigeon racing in a dream means sodomy.
