Knife If one is given a knife as a gift in a dream, it means that he will beget a son, or have a new brother. Eve It also means that a major adversity will befall her, since Eve was the first to experience female menstrual period and the pain of childbirth. • A sterile woman dreaming that she is having her menses: Will conceive (in view of verse 71 in the Quranic chapter “Hud,” which says: “And his wife, standing by, laughed [in the sense of had her menses]; so We gave her good tidings [of the birth] of Isaac, and, after Isaac, of Jacob.”)
