Thunderbolt If one is under surveillance, then seeing a thunderbolt in a dream means a crackdown on his house or business. If thunderbolts strike people's homes in a dream, they mean the arrival of covetous and despicable criminals in the company of decent and innocent people who are not aware of the true identity of their companions. If thunderbolts strike the fields and damage the crop in a dream, they represent taxes or an investigation. If one sees a town hit and burnt with a thunderbolt in a dream, it means that an unjust governor will rise in that town, and his government will bring fear, rising prices, economic chaos, injustice or war. Indian falcon (zool. Shahin) In a dream, an Indian falcon or a Shahin represents an unjust ruler who keeps no promises. If one sees himself turned into a Shahin in a dream, it means that he will be appointed at a high ranking seat of authority, then be quickly dismissed or impeached from office. Weasel The weasel is among the human beings that, according to religious belief, were cursed and turned into animals, says Ibn Siren. In dreams, it symbolizes a foolish and harsh person, unjust and with little, if any, mercy. The same interpretation for a cat applies to it. Black Grapes Black grapes, although in reality are excellent buit in a dream they do not augur well for the one who sees them. The reason being that Hadhrat Nooh (AS) cursed his son out of anger. Consequently, the grapes that the son had in his hand turned black. Therefore, in view of this incident, there is no benefit in seeing black grapes. Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Bones If one sees his bones turned ivory in a dream, it means that his wealth is gathered from unlawful money. Bones also could represent trees and their fruits, while their marrow represents one's good character or knowledge. Bones in a dream also denote one's fitness or sickness. Daylight (Day) The dawning of the daylight in a dream means relief from pain, distress and sorrow, or it could mean buying a new garment, marriage, having beautiful children, the emergence of truth, unveiling what is hidden, release from prison or the coming home of a traveller. Wind If one sees a huge tornado or a tropical storm carrying people, trees, homes, or cattle in the air to scatter them over its path of destruction, then it represents a major plague, or a calamity affecting that region. Poisonous winds or polluted air in a dream represent a feverish illness. A stormy wind accompanied with thunder in a dream represents a tyrant. If the wind carries someone from one place to another in the dream, it means that he may travel there, but he may never return to his homeland. A gentle wind or a breeze in a dream represents grace and blessings for the people and the land. A storm of dust in a dream represents destruction in the land. Incident - a Bird of Unknown Species descending from the Sky Another person related the following dream to the Imaam : He had seen a fat bird of an unknown species descending from the sky and sitting on a tree. It started packing at the blossoms of the tree and thereafter flew away. At this juncture, the Imaam's face turned pale. He said: “This is an indication of some great men of learning passing away.” It is said that Hasan Al-Basri and Ibn Sirin passed away that very year. Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Heavens The fifth heaven is the sphere of the planet Mars. If one sees himself in the fifth heaven in a dream, it means that he will preside or leads a police squadron, a mountain patrol, a small army, a band of thieves, or manage a brothel. The sixth heaven is the sphere of the planet Jupiter. If one sees himself in the sixth heaven in a dream, it means that he will acquire deep spiritual understanding, religious assiduousness, or become a judge, if he qualifies. He also could become an ascetic, or a true worshiper and he will have strong faith, good managerial ability, or he could become a treasurer. The seventh heaven is the sphere of the planet Saturn. If one sees himself in the seventh heaven in a dream, it means that he may buy a house, a property, a farmland, or it could mean longevity. If one does not qualify to receive any of the above, then such award will reach his superiors, or someone in his progeny, or a close friend. If one sees himself standing beyond the seventh heaven in a dream, it means exaltation, though his new station will be the direct cause of his death. Receiving an Unsheathed Sword if a person sees himself as receiving an unsheathed (naked) sword and he lifts it above his head but does not strike with it, it means he will wield such power as will make him popular; or he will father a very beautiful girl. Incident - meaning of Generosity Then he saw Husain Al-Hallaj sitting on a seat made from gold and encrusted with jewels and sapphires. He also saw the scholars who signed the decree to kill Al-Hallaj standing before him with humiliation. It seemed to him as though God Almighty asked Al-Hallaj : "What do want Me to do with these people?" Al-Hallaj replied: "Lord, I ask Thee to forgive them all." My Sheikh then turned to his disciple in the dream and said: "My son, this is what true generosity is about." Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Friday (.arb. Jumua, the sixth day of the week.) Recognizing Friday, the sixth day of the week in which the believers gather for their congregational prayers in a dream means receiving Allah's blessings, recuperating a lost property, receiving compensation for one's losses, and changes in his financial conditions from tightness to ease. If one sees people gathered to pray the congregational Friday prayers at the grand mosque while he is still in his house or shop, and if he hears the call and segments of their prayers, or if he suspects people to be leaving the mosque to return to their homes in the dream, it means loss of his status in that town. If one joins the congregational prayers in the dream, it means that he will receive protection and honor in that town. Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Doorframes The timber with which doorframes and lintels are made represent one's children. If two sides of a doorframe is seen broken, it means his two daughters will die. But if he has more than two daughters, it means all of them will get married, thereby leave his home permanently to live with their husbands. Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Stream If one sees a stream flowing through people's homes in a dream, then such a stream represents a happy life and particularly when its water is colorless and sweet tasting. If one sees himself as the owner of a stream, a spring, or a watercourse which he establishes as a charity in a dream, it means that he will become a leader, a president, or happily serve his community. If one cleans a rivulet then finds it filthy again, or finds it filled with trash in his dream, it represents diarrhea. If he sees water flowing under his feet in a dream, then it means dropsy. If one sees a stream of water running through a town where people are filling their jars, drinking its water and thanking Allah for His blessings in a dream, it means that a calamity is removed and is replaced with peace, safety and tranquillity. Spider The spider is among the metamorphosed (human beings turned into animals as a result of a curse, according to religious belief). It symbolizes a damned and detestable woman who abandons her husband’s bed in favour of others.
• Seeing a spider: Will meet a weak but showy and vexatious man, a nouveau riche, or newly rich, person.

Incident - The moon entering the planet Taurus It is reported that once, while Ibn Sirin (RA) was having his lunch,a lady came to him and informed him that she had seen a dream. When he asked her to relate it she said: “Not until you have finished your meal”. After having had his meal, she said; “I saw the moon entering the planet Taurus and a voice from behind me said to me: Go to Ibn Sirin and relate to him your dream!. The Prophet Muhammad's (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) Asking About Dreams Samurah bin Jundub narrated : "When the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) had led us in Subh(Fajr prayer), he turned to face the people and said: 'Did any of you have a dream during the night?'" [He said:] This Hadith is Hasan Sahih. This Hadith has been related from 'Awf and Jarir bin Hazim, from Abu Raja', from sumarah from the Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) with the story in its entirety. Mounting a Zebra If a person sees himself as mounting a zebra or an antelope or a wild camel while he has no desire to hunt any of these, it means he will allow an evil person to enter his home, allowing him to do what he desires.
