Hyacinth If one sees a hyacinth flower being raised to the heavens in a dream, it means the death of a gnostic or that of a renowned scholar. A hyacinth in a dream also represents a son when standing erect in the fields, and it represents a woman when gathered as a bouquet of flowers, while it means a calamity if seen cut and placed inside a flower pot, a vase , or in an inappropriate place. A hyacinth flower in a dream also represents a beautiful woman or blessings, its fragrance represents one's love for his wife, and its tenderness represents one's concern and support for his family. Mountain If climbing means gaining a higher station, then descending in a dream means losing rank. If one sees himself climbing a mountain, though at a certain height he finds himself no longer able to climb or to descend in the dream, it means that he will die young. If one sees himself falling from a mountain in a dream, it means that he will fall into sin. If he falls and breaks a leg in the dream, it means that he will become despised by his superiors. Falcon The falcon symbolizes a king. It also refers to a thief that nobody can stop and who surmounts all barriers.
• A slaughtered falcon: Death of a king.

Satan • Being followed by Satan: The dreamer’s enemy is after him, trying to lure him and bring him down in many ways, in view of the Quranic verse: “… So Satan followed him up, and he went astray.” (“Al-Aaraf’ [The Heights], verse 175.)

Allah If one sees Allah Almighty in a form resembling one's father, a brother or a relative and showing His kindness or blessing him in a dream, it means that he will be afflicted with a calamity and a major illness. If a righteous person sees himself standing before Allah Almighty in reverence and filled with awe in a dream, it means that mercy will encompass him and help him to further his growth. The same interpretation applies if one sees himself prostrating before Him. If Allah Almighty speaks to someone from behind a veil in a dream, it can also represent a good worshipper, but if the Divine address takes place without a veil in the dream, it means falling into sin. Minbar If one is seen standing on a pulpit and if he does not speak or deliver a sermon, or if what he says denotes evil in the dream, it means that he will be unjustly executed, or it could mean that Allah Almighty will protect him against such injustice. The pulpit in a dream also means rulership and subduing one's enemy. Rising on a pulpit in a dream also could mean a betrothal or proposing a marriage. Otherwise, it could mean a scandal. If a ruler stands on a pulpit in a dream, it represents the continuity of his reign. Toilet (Lavatory) In a dream, a toilet means relief from distress, satisfying one's innate needs, a bathhouse, taking a ritual ablution, a place where one's secrets are exposed, a place where one hides his money, a treasury, a coffer, a rest room, or a place to reflect. Tower Standing inside a tower in a dream means that one should not feel safe from the blows of his enemy, or expect to be secured and safe in his own environment when someone calls upon him for something. If he is sick, it means that he may die from his illness. Standing on top of a tower or a wall in a dream means that one will conquer or capture a dangerous person. Lion • Seeing a lion entering a house where a person is ill: The patient will die.
• A lion intruding in one’s house: Hardship on the part of the chief. If the beast suddenly devours the dreamer, he will be the victim of an injustice, his money will be stolen, or he will be beaten or killed at the hands of the ruler, especially if he dreamed that his soul had left his body or that his head had been cut off.
• Receiving a lion and seeing it in one’s place without bothering with it: Will be scared to death by the sultan, but no real harm will occur.
• A lion entering the city: A plague, hardships, a tyrant, or an enemy.

Tallness (Height; Size) To see oneself taller than usual in a dream means increase in knowledge and wealth. If a man of authority sees that, it means expansion of his power. If he is a merchant, it means business prosperity. If one sees himself extremely tall and beyond the tallest human being in a dream, it means the nearing of his death, or it could mean his downfall. Spiritual gathering His condition will change from tightness to abundance. He will repay his debts and overcome his oppressors. If one sees a spiritual gathering where Allah's Name is glorified, the holy Quran is read and wisdom is spoken in his dream, it means that such a place will be established as a spiritual center or as a mosque. Such a place will also become a center where spiritual leaders and governors will gather and speak. Izrail (The angle of death; Bone-breaker; Death; Longevity) The archangel of death. Seeing him in a dream means martyrdom if one is inspired by it. If one sees the archangel Izrail angry with him in a dream, it means that one will die unrepented. If one sees Izrail standing above him, or battling him in a dream, it means that he will recover from a severe illness. Seeing the archangel Izrail in a dream also means longevity, or going through unavoidable circumstances, or experiencing extreme fear. If one sees himself being Izrail in a dream, it means rising in status to govern and to oppress others, or he might become an executioner, or perhaps that some major events may take place at his hand. Christian • A Nosrani becoming a Muslim: (1) Will quickly embrace Islam. (2) Will soon pass away.
• A Nosrani changing faith: He is not a good Christian.
• Standing up and sitting down with the Nasara: The dreamer is extremely sympathetic to them and loves them.
• A Nosrani committing a sacrilege toward Islam, like climbing the minaret of a mosque or standing at the mosque’s rostrum, et cetera: (1) A tragedy. (2) An atheist ruler will take over the reins of power. (3) The people of that area despise Islam.

Fire of the World A fire in a particular town, suburb or house which is situated on arid land, and such a fire gives off violent, blazing flames destroying anything in its path ,and it also gives off thunderous, frightening sounds, then such a dream is a bad omen that repression and oppression will become the order of the day in that place where the fire had been seen. If the place is not arid, it means epidemic, pleurisy or smallpox will break out there or many deaths will occur. If the fire has no sound and flames in it and it destroys some things and leaves other things unharmed, it symbolizes accidents and deaths occurring in that place. Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Grave • Seeing a person’s grave being turned into a house, a shop, or a village: The family of the defunct will build a house there.
• Dreaming of entering a grave without being carried on a bier: Will buy an empty house.
• Standing by a grave: Will commit a sin, in view of a verse in the Holy Quran that reads: “And never (O Muhammad) pray for one of them who dieth, nor stand by his grave. Lo! they disbelieved in Allah and His messenger, and they died while they were evildoers.” (“Al-Taubah” [Repentance], verse 84.)
• Standing by one’s grave and looking at it: Will repent and sins will be forgiven.

Bowing in prayers If one sees himself standing in prayers, but remains standing without bowing until the prescribed time elapses in a dream, it means that he does not pay his due alms. Bowing in prayers in a dream also means a job for someone who needs it most. Bowing in a dream also means longevity. Preacher If one sees himself delivering a sermon (Khutba) in accordance with the prescribed method and prophetic traditions in a dream, it means that he will be helped at doing his work. If he wears a white garment instead of a black one when delivering his sermon in the dream, it means that he will rise in station and that his earnings will increase. If one sees himself sitting down rather than standing up when delivering his sermon in a dream, it means that he will preside over his companions.
