The Prophet Muhammad's (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) Seeing People Barely Covered Abu Umamah bin Sahl bin Hunaif narrated from some of the companions of the Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) that the Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) said: "While I was sleeping I saw people presented before me, and that they were wearing shirts. Some of them (the shirts) reaching their breasts, and some of them reaching below that." He said: "Then 'Umar was presented before me and he was wearing a shirt that was dragging." They said: "How did you interpret that O Prophet Muhammad?" He said: "The religion." Chest The narrowness of one's chest in a dream represents heedlessness, or it could mean going astray, loss of money, or one's stinginess. If one sees his chest turned into a stone in a dream, it means that he is a hard hearted person. However, a broad chest in a dream also could signify being unjust. The chest in a dream also represents the house of worries and anxieties. Having chest pain in a dream denotes a sin one is being punished for, or it could mean being a spendthrift or generous in other than Allah's pleasure, and the pain in the dream represents his punishment for it. If a man sees himself having a woman's breasts in his dream, it means that he will get married, or fall in love with a woman, or have a secret affair that will turn into a scandal. Kite The kite symbolizes an obscure but extremely harmful king who is humble but unjust and very able. The reason is that the kite flies low and hardly misses any prey. One kite is a woman who betrays her man without hiding. That bird refers as well to thieves, highway bandits, purse snatchers, and cheats who take welfare from their friends. • Catching a doe in a hunt: Will be smart enough to let a girl fall in love with you or will trick a woman into marrying you.

• Throwing an arrow at a doe: Will slander a maiden or a maid.

Eagle The eagle symbolizes a strong man, a warrior who can be trusted neither by a friend nor by a foe. Its baby is an intrepid son who mixes with rulers.
• An eagle seen on a rooftop or in a house: The Archangel of Death will visit that house.

Posterior Part A man uncovering his bottom to the dreamer: Will feed the dreamer well, then turn his back to him. If that man is young and the dreamer sees his anus, he will be snubbed by the latter. If the old man was unknown, people would turn their back to the dreamer without his knowing why or discovering the source of such an attitude.

A saddled horse in a dream means a woman in her menstrual period, during which time it is not permissible for the husband to engage in marital intercourse with her. Owning a herd of horses, or taking care of their feed in a dream means presiding over people, or it could mean managing a business. Sword • Striking someone with a sword: Will insult and slander him.

• Travellers dreaming of delivering: Will carry light luggage.
• A person dreaming that his mother has delivered him anew: (1) If ill, will pass away, as the newly born are wrapped like the dead. (2) If a craftsman or a manufacturer, will encounter hurdles that will prevent him from carrying on his work. (3) If poor, will find someone who will feed and take care of him. (4) If rich, the wealth will not be kept or someone else will manage the dreamer’s fortune, like a child who must be under the tutelage of an adult. (5) If married, wife will no longer conceive. (6) If wife is pregnant, will give birth to a boy who will resemble the dreamer. (7) If a bondsman, will be favoured by his master, who will overlook or forgive his errors, but will not set him free. Snot According to Ibn Siren, the mucus from the nose symbolizes the making of children, in view of the popular belief that the cat emanated from the lion’s snot.
