Ape The ape (or monkey as well) is a poor man deprived of his means of living. It belongs to the category of human beings who have been metamorphosed as a result of a legendary curse. It represents the wicked, spiteful, and cursing individual, the same as it symbolizes a Jew (according to the ancient Arabs) or a person who commits major sins.
• Fighting and overpowering an ape: Will be ill but recover, unless the ape had the upper hand.

Spider The spider is among the metamorphosed (human beings turned into animals as a result of a curse, according to religious belief). It symbolizes a damned and detestable woman who abandons her husband’s bed in favour of others.
• Seeing a spider: Will meet a weak but showy and vexatious man, a nouveau riche, or newly rich, person.

Black Coins Contained in a Bag If a person sees himself as receiving black coins contained in a bag or pocket, it means a secret will be told to him which he will guard as a trust to his utmost ability. Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Dumbness Dumbness in a dream means rescinding a court decision, or to remain silent when one is supposed to speak. Dumbness in a dream also means dethroning or terminating one's employment. If one sees his tongue tied up in a dream, it means that he will gain eloquence, mastery of words, clarity of speech, wisdom in his words and prosperity, and it means that he will win victory over his enemy. Sorcerer Sorcery and sorcerers refer to unjust statements, lies, dissension, machinations, devilish temptation, vanity, atheism, and the like or the separation of a married couple. They also symbolize ugly acts and baseless, unable, and mean business. The sorcerer or witch is an unfair, untrustworthy, wicked, and cruel enemy. The word sehr, Arabic for sorcery, is almost a homonym of sahar, the last sequence in dreaming before the break of day. Hence dreaming of that kind of dawn means that the dreamer will somehow be involved in magic, in either way, or will commit a sin for which he will have to implore God’s mercy, bearing in mind the Quranic verse: “… and ere the dawning of each day would seek forgiveness.” (“Al-Dhariyat” [The Winnowing Winds], verse 18.) That period of the night is also said to be the one when dreams are most likely to come true. The word is also close to sohoor, the very late meal that those who fast during the holy month of Ramadan take. In dreams it means that the hero will render his enemies mad; that he will repent if he disobeyed God’s commandments, that he will return to the right path, if an atheist, or that he will become prosperous. Aqiq The same stone was used in ornamenting the Taj Mahal in India. The higher qualities of Aqiq (mostly found in anes and Khawlan, in North Yemen) are believed by Orientals to have certain properties, like the ability to slow down the movement of fluids in the body. If somebody is hurt, for instance, while carrying Aqiq or wearing it as a ring whose stone touches the skin, the blood is unlikely to ooze out of the wound. Some men also use it to avoid rapid ejaculation. I was told by one of the few remaining Aqiq craftsmen in North Yemen, a few years ago, that a rich Arab client believed by the craftsman to be a Saudi ambassador had proposed to pay some two hundred thousand dollars for one of those special rings, but his offer had been declined. In Sanaa, the capital of North Yemen, there is a stone that, I was told, was then in the custody of someone called Ahmad Al-Turki, who cannot sell it for its being a waqf (a property confined to public benefit, according to an Islamic code). Record keepers (Angels; Spiritual) Representing the heedful angels in charge of guarding the writings of the Preserved Tablets, and the heavenly beings or scribes in charge of recording peoples deeds. Maqam Ibrahim (The Station Of Abraham, Near The Kabah In Mecca (Makkah) The Quran says: “The First House (of worship) appointed for men was that at Bakka (Mecca (Makkah)): Full of blessings and of guidance for all kinds of beings. In it are Signs manifest; (for example), the Station of Abraham; whoever enters it attains security; pilgrimage thereto is a duty men owe to God” (“Al-Imran” [The Imran Family], verses 96–97.)

Reciting Surah Ikhlaas Whoever reads it will repent for his sins and no child of his will live, for Allah Says; He does not beget nor is he begotten. Some Ulama say that its recitation in the dream is an indication that the reader will be amuwahhid (ie monotheist). Incident - Digging the grave of Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) A man told Imam Ibn Sirin: "I saw myself in a dream digging the bones of Prophet Muhammad, Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam." Ibn Sirin replied, 'You will establish his traditions in your life." Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Masjid (arb. Allah's House; Mosque; Place of worship) In Arabic, the word Masjid means a place of prostration, while the word Jami means a place of gathering. A Masjid or a mosque in a dream represents a scholar and its gates represent men of knowledge and the guardians, or the attendants of Allah's House. Building a Masjid in a dream means emulating the traditions of Allah's Prophet, Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam, fostering the unity of one's family, or becoming a judge, should one qualify for such an office. A Masjid filled with people in a dream represents a gnostic, a man of knowledge and wisdom, or a preacher who invites people to his house, advises them, brings their hearts together, teaches them the precepts of their religion and explains the wisdom behind the divine revelations. Seeing a Masjid being demolished in a dream means that such a gnostic, or religious scholar and devout believer will die in that locality. Sparks In a dream, sparks represent ugly words. If one sees sparks hitting him in a dream, it means that he will hear harsh words pronounced against him by someone in authority. If one's clothing ignites and burns from sparks in the dream, it means aggravation of his condition. If smoke engulfs the sparks in one's dream, then they represent an awesome adversity. Sword In a dream, the sheath of a sword represents a woman. Hitting someone with a sword in a dream means insulting him with harsh words. Sheathing one's sword in a dream means marriage. If the blade ceases to cut in a dream, it means that one's words will bear no weight. If one is hit with a sword, and if he loses his hand, his leg, or receives wounds in the dream, it means having an argument that involves one's father, son, or brother, etcetera, depending which limb and what member of one's family it represents. Incident - A Pitcher with Two Heads A man told Imam Ibn Sirin: "I saw myself drinking from a pitcher with two heads in a dream." Ibn Sirin replied: "You have a wife, and you are trying to tempt her sister to sin with you, so fear God." The man answered: "You spoke the truth. Bear witness that I repent from my doing." Torah • Trying to read the Torah, but being unable to: Will become a fatalist or a predestination.
• A Muslim king (or ruler) dreaming that he possesses a Torah: Will conquer his enemy’s territory or sign a peace treaty with him in the former’s favour.

Vessel The vessel symbolizes everything that saves the dreamer, by allegory to Noah’s ark. It refers particularly to Islam, which salvages human beings from their ignorance or atheism, or to the wife or slave-girl who immunizes the dreamer by ensuring his sexual sufficiency and saves him from the temptation of other women, which might lead to adultery or corruption in society. By so doing, the dreamer’s woman also saves him from Hell in the Hereafter. It also alludes to the dreamer’s parents who protected him when he was a baby from hunger and death, more particularly his mother, whose womb was like a ship he was riding in. Incident - Short Black Woman A man told Imam Ibn Sirin: "I saw that I was betrothed to a black woman who was short in the dream."
