Seeing any of the great extraordinary events or signs that shall precede the Day of resurrection in a dream means glad tidings for a believer who does good, and a warning for a disbeliever to correct himself and repent for his sins before its coming. Narcotics Hashish, opium, and the like are considered like wine, except that they are particularly abhorred, because their effect on the mind is stronger than that of wine.

Mortuary Balm The mortuary balm or other stuff used in the mummification or embalming process to preserve the corpse and keep it from stinking symbolizes: (1) Repentance for the profligate. (2) Relief from deep worries. In general, it is a good augury:
• Dreaming of having or collecting mortuary balm: Piety and welfare, especially toward Muslims.
• Distributing balm: The dreamer is pursuing a matter that will benefit people.

Mirror • Looking in the mirror and seeing the wife’s vagina: Relief will come.
• Looking in a rusted mirror: The dreamer is in bad shape. Likewise, an adulterated mirror means deep worries.
• Looking in the mirror and seeing oneself with a black beard, which is not the case in reality: Will be honoured by people and well reputed, but not in religious affairs. A white beard would mean poverty compensated for by respect and religious faith.

Eyesight Weaker eyesight means weaker religious faith.
• Using kohl, or antimony powder, to improve one’s eyesight: Will recover or have stronger religious faith.
• Dreaming that one’s eyesight is weaker than people think: Deep inside, the dreamer is not as religious as he appears to be.
