Amulet If he is a man of knowledge, it means that he lies or hides his true knowledge, abstains from giving true advice, or perhaps he offers a poor quality of worship. If the one reciting the incantation in the dream is a judge, it means that he will give a wrong judgement. If one is given to drink some water over which specific prayers were recited in a dream, it means longevity. If one sees himself reciting an incantation, or if he hears incantations recited on his behalf in a dream, it will all be false except for a prayer that recites; In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate or contains a Quranic revelation. Thigh (Limb) One's thighs in a dream represent his family or clan. Anything that affects them in the dream will manifest in his family or clan. If one sees his thighs missing something in a dream, it means that he is a foreigner, or that he does not know his lineage or ancestry. Experiencing pain in one's thigh in a dream means doing harm to one's own family or clan. Poet (Charmer; Poet; Reciting) A poet reciting his verses in a dream represents a man who brings peace to people's hearts, entertains them and dispels anger from their hearts if Allah's name is mentioned in his poem. If he does not mention the name of Allah Almighty in the dream, then his words may be baseless and false. A poet in a dream also represents someone who pieces together a conversation, or who embellishes his words with lies, or who deceives people by giving them bad advice, encourages them to do wrong and to abstain from what is right, or misleads them with deceptive words. Sieve (Bolter; Colander; Filter; Separate; Sift; Sort; Strainer) In a dream, a sieve represents knowledge, discerning, honor, rank and discriminating between truth and false. A sieve in a dream is like a detector of true banknotes from counterfeit, a person who chooses his words, a choosy person of the type of work he does, or a discriminating buyer, a pious person, or it could represent a comb. If a sieve is given as a collateral, or as a promissory note in a dream, it means that the depositor will flunk his promise, for a sieve does not retain water. Dancing Dancing in a dream means a calamity. If one sees himself dancing for someone else in a dream, it means that he will share his problems with him. Dancing alone in one's house in a dream signifies joy and satisfaction. If a sick person sees himself dancing in a dream, it denotes his anxiety. If one is pulled to a dancing circle in a dream, it means that he will be saved from tribulation or be declared innocent from false allegations. If a child is seen dancing in a dream, then it means that he may lose his speech or become dumb, because when a child dances, he mostly moves his hands to express himself. Crown of a king Wearing a crown in a dream means increase in money and children. For a woman, wearing a crown means marriage to a foreigner. For a man, wearing a crown in a dream implies overcoming false allegations. If a merchant sees himself wearing a crown in a dream, it means loss of business and influence. If a ruler sees himself wearing a crown in a dream, it means failure in his religious commitment. Carpet Seeing a carpet spread for one to sit on it and whose owner is unknown in an unknown place in a dream means that one will emigrate to a foreign land and succeed in establishing a good livelihood for himself. If in such a place the carpet is thin in the dream, it means worldly gains and longevity. Sitting on a carpet in a dream also means associating with leaders and judges. If one's carpet is stolen, burned or thinned in a dream, it means nearing the term of his life in this world, afflictions, illness or emaciation. Slaughter Slaughter means: (1) Repudiation of one’s parents. (2) Injustice.
• Seeing a slain person without knowing who killed him: The dreamer has come out with a heresy or made a false testimony.
• Slaughtering one’s father, mother, or son: The dreamer will either repudiate or attack one of them.
• Slaughtering a woman: The dreamer will have sex with her.
• Slaughtering a female animal: The dreamer will make love to a woman and deflower a virgin.
• Slaughtering a male animal by attacking it from behind: The dreamer will sodomize such an animal.

Sword An iron sword in a dream represents a son. A brass sword in a dream means a rich son. A lead sword in a dream means an effeminate son. A wooden sword in a dream means a son who is a hypocrite, and a tarnished sword in a dream represents an unattractive son. To draw out one's sword from its sheath in a dream could represent some words one is prepared to say. If the sword is sharpened, bright and scintillating in the dream, it means that his words will be sweet and true. Satan • Chaining up or tying up Satan: Glory in view of the Quranic verses: “And the unruly, every builder and diver (made We subservient), and others linked together in chains… “48 (“Sad,” verses 37–38.)
• A devil diving or descending on the dreamer: He will lie and commit an abomination in view of the Quranic verse: “They descend on every sinful, false one.” [The Poets], verse 222.)
• Whispering to Satan: The dreamer will connive with his enemies and plot against the pious but fail, in view of the Quranic verse: “Lo! Conspiracy is only of the Devil, that he may vex those who believe; but he can harm them not at all unless by Allah’s leave. Rope If the rope is made from wool in the dream, then it represents a religious person. Twisting a rope in a dream means going on a trip. Twisting it around one's own neck in the dream means getting married. Throwing it over one's shoulders in the dream means an important appointment resulting from a business trip. Twisting one's beard to make a rope out of it in a dream means perjury, receiving a bribe and giving a false testimony. Twisting a rope, making one, or measuring it in a dream means travels. Dyer In a dream, a leather finisher or a fabric dyer represents a false person, though he also could do good. A dyer in a dream also represents someone of good financial standing or one who is in position to help others, or he could be a man of knowledge, or a person in authority. Seeing a dyer dying a white garment into a green color in a dream means repentance from sins. If he changes the dye of a white garment into black, it means apostasy. Gospel (Injeel) If a person sees himself carrying the gospel in a dream, it means that he devotes his life to worship, asceticism and gives preference to solitary life. If a ruler sees that in his dream, it means that he will conquer his enemy. Carrying the Gospel in a dream also could represent a false witness, or slandering a chaste woman. If a sick person sees himself carrying the gospel in a dream, it means that he will recover from his illness. Dreams Near The Day Of Judgement Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) as saying: When the time draws near (when the Resurrection is near) a believer's dream can hardly be false. And the truest vision will be of one who is himself the most truthful in speech, for the vision of a Muslim is the forty-fifth part of Prophecy, and dreams are of three types: one good dream which is a sort of good tidings from Allah; the evil dream which causes pain is from the satan; and the third one is a suggestion of one's own mind; so if any one of you sees a dream which he does not like he should stand tip and offer prayer and he should not relate it to people, and he said: I would love to see fetters (in the dream), but I dislike wearing of necklace, for the fetters is (an indication of) one's steadfastness in religion. Naked If one sees himself naked in front of people, and if he finds himself embarrassed, or tries desperately to find a cover but to no avail, it signifies loss of property and wealth. If he stands out naked and people keep looking at his private parts in the dream, it means a scandal or suffering from defamation. Nakedness in a dream also could mean divorce, or death of one's wife. Taking off one's clothing in a dream means loss of position and prestige, loss of work, demotion, or recovering from an illness. If a sick person sees himself changing his soiled garment in a dream, it means that he will recover from his illness, or escape from an adversity or an accident, or that he will be declared innocent from a false accusation. Brass (Money; Yellow) Brass in a dream means enmity. If one sees himself melting brass in a dream, it means that he will engages in a fight about mundane things and consequently becomes himself a subject of people's talk. It is also said that if one sees yellow brass in his dream , it means that he will hear harsh words and false statements. Yellow brass in a dream also represents a person who is proud about his worldly possessions. If one is beaten with a stick of brass in a dream, it means that he is seeking some worldly gains. Poem Memorizing a poem or a verse from a poem in a dream means engaging in a business from which one will acquire great knowledge, or it could mean profits or success in whatever trade one chooses to practice. If one sees himself in a court of justice reciting poems for money in the dream, it means that he will give a false testimony. If he recites a poem for a gathering in a dream, it means that he will relate a wise saying, though he himself inclines to hypocrisy. If one sees himself listening to a poem in a dream, it means that he will associate himself with a group of people who do not foster the truth. In a dream, poems also represent falsehood or vain talk. Reciting a poem or listening to one and memorizing its verses in a dream means that one should take heed to what it says. Wolf (Thief; Trifler; Womanizer; Year) In a dream, a wolf represents a fierce enemy, an unrelenting thief, or a liar. If one sees a wolf entering his house in a dream, it means that a thief will burglarize his house and that he will chase and capture him. If one sees himself raising a wolfs cub in a dream, it means that he will raise an abandoned child of a thief who upon growing up will bring that family much pain, suffering, divisiveness and loss of property. Seeing a wolf in a dream also could represent false allegations one may fabricate to assault an innocent person. If one sees a wolf turning into a steer in the dream, it means that a boy who is used to stealing will repent for his sin, turn to honesty, trustworthiness and grow to become a good and a generous person. A Dream Of A Believer Is One Of Forty-Six Parts Of Prophetism Narrated Abu Huraira: Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) said, "When the Day of Resurrection approaches, the dreams of a believer will hardly fail to come true, and a dream of a believer is one of forty-six parts of prophetism, and whatever belongs to prothetism can never be false." Muhammad bin Sirin said, "But I say this." He said, "It used to be said, 'There are three types of dreams: The reflection of one's thoughts and experiences one has during wakefulness, what is suggested by Satan to frighten the dreamer, or glad tidings from Allah. So, if someone has a dream which he dislikes, he should not tell it to others, but get up and offer a prayer." He added, "He (Abu Huraira) hated to see a Ghul (i.e., iron collar around his neck in a dream) and people liked to see fetters (on their feet in a dream).
