Incident - a Snake in your House Another person revealed his dream to the Imaam saying that he had seen a snake in his house. It had bitten him on the hand and back causing him much pain. The Imaam asked “Yous have a brother and a sister?” he said: “yes.” The Imaam said: “Then you have a relative in your hoe whose heart is filled with malice towards you. Vegetable • Collecting a bunch of legumes from one’s garden or backyard: Evil and rupture on the part of a group of female relatives.

Incident - Presenting a Interpretation The another interpreter was called who fortunately was familiar with courtly protocols. He said: “O Ameerul-Mumineen, you will live for a long time. • Seeing Menstrual Blood: Lies And Falsehood • A woman dreaming that she has her period: Will obtain money, as much as there was blood.
• Seeing one’s wife in menstruation: Obstacles or deadlock. If the lady is particularly virtuous, the dreamer will face a religious dilemma.
• A man seeing himself menstruating: (1) Will no longer be religious. (2) Will marry or have sex with a prohibited relative.

Fox The fox is a crafty person, a crook, one who dodges on the spiritual and material planes. It could also be an astrologer or a doctor.
• Seeing a fox: Will feel depressed, be humiliated, or lose part of one’s fortune.
• Dodging a fox: The dreamer is a liar or a poet.
• A fox dodging the dreamer: An adversary or a competitor is doing so.
• Fighting or quarrelling with a fox: The same will happen with a relative.
• Calling a fox: Pain from wife or husband.

Nose (Also see Snot and Suck.) The nose symbolizes a man’s beauty, relatives, a male child, the parents, and the person’s prestige. Anything good entering it is medicine; anything bad is wrath and anger.
• One’s nose looking like a hose: The dreamer belongs to a powerful family and has plenty of supporters.

Thigh • Dreaming that one’s thigh is red and hairy and calling someone to let him shave that hair: The dreamer has a debt a relative will settle on his behalf.
• Having a reduced or small thigh: (1) The dreamer’s clan is small. (2) The dreamer is a solitary person. (3) The dreamer will be estranged.

Eye • A person in a foreign land dreaming that he is completely blind: He will stay abroad till he dies.
• Seeing one’s eyes made of iron: The dreamer will be in deep trouble and the center of a scandal.
• Opening one’s eyes to see a certain person: That person will look into the dreamer’s plea and help him.
• Staring angrily at someone: The dreamer will have spite for that person.
• Hearing with one’s eyes and seeing with one’s ears: The dreamer is inciting his family and daughter to commit sins.
• Seeing the eye of a man or an animal in one’s palm: The dreamer will get plenty of money.
• Looking at an eye and liking it: The dreamer will do something harmful to his religion.
• The heart having an eye or eyes: Religious devotion inasmuch as they were bright.

Burial If one sees himself being buried after his death in a dream, it means that he will undertake a long journey during which he will be short of money. If one sees himself being buried alive and if he recognizes the one burying him in the dream, it means that the latter will assault him, oppress him, imprison him or cause him injustice. If he dies in his grave after his burial in the dream, it means that he may die from such sufferings. Should he survive such adversities in the dream, it means that he will escape from such fear, prison or injustice. Horse If a horse dies in one's presence in a dream, it means loss of his house or business. The fit of a horse in the dream represent man's own state. Descending from a horse in a dream means committing a sin that will force one to resign from his position, or be dismissed from his work. A hairy horse in a dream represents a large family. If the tail of one's horse is cut off at its end in a dream, it means that one may come to see the death of his children and clan before his own eyes. If the tail of one's horse is simply clipped in the dream, it connotes his own death and that his name will be quickly forgotten. Donkey • Hearing the cry of a donkey and similar animals without seeing them: Torrential rain.
• For a traveller, it is better to see the donkey going slowly. The trip will be as comfortable as the donkey looked well in the dream.
• Fighting a donkey: Some relatives will die.
• Making love to a donkey: Will be overactive. If the donkey was the active partner, you will become tremendously rich and handsome.

Mare A mare in a dream also represents a rich person, a beautiful woman or a handsome looking man, a religious person, a comforting wife, a forbearing husband, or a sick person. If one loses his mare, or if it dies in the dream, it means that he will lose his source of income. Dismounting a mare in a dream may mean loss of one's business, a divorce, or loss of one's house. Hearing the squealing of a mare in a dream means increase in one's income, or it could mean one's promotion at work. Scorpion The scorpion is among the metamorphosed. It used to be a human being but was cursed, according to religious belief. It symbolizes a compulsive talker and slanderer who would not hesitate to kill some of his relatives or an enemy in general. The yellow scorpion is the most bitter enemy. It also alludes to money. Horse A nag in a dream represents a wife or a husband. A saddled horse in a dream means a woman in her menstrual period, during which time it is not permissible for the husband to engage in marital intercourse with her. A gathering of horses in a dream represents a gathering of women for a funeral or a wedding. Owning a herd of horses, or taking care of their feed in a dream means presiding over people, or it could mean managing a business. Forearm The forearms symbolize two relatives or friends, like, for instance, a brother and an adult son whom the dreamer can rely upon or benefit from.

Companion of the road (Friendship) If a sick person sees himself walking on the road along with a friend or travelling with him in a dream, it means that he will recover from his illness. Lame • Being lame or handicapped, unable to stand on one’s feet: (1) The dreamer is not strong enough to press ahead with his demands. (2) The dreamer will be disappointed by those relatives whom the handicapped part of the body refers to.
