Disrobe If one undresses himself in a dream though not knowing whether he did so for good or for an unlawful purpose, or if he strips himself from his clothing in a public place, feels shy and tries to cover his private parts in the dream, it means that his private life will be exposed and that he will be disgraced. Shroud (Wrap) A shroud in a dream means covering one's private parts, or it could mean having a secret affair, concealing one's action while displaying a deceptive appearance, or it could mean marriage with an incompatible spouse. Nape • The nape of the neck being thick: Power derived from God.
• A beautiful nape of the neck: The ability to run away.
• Hair on the nape of the neck: Financial commitments and liabilities.
• Having no hair on this part of the body: Bankruptcy.

Pudenda • The same dream, except that the dreamer is wearing no clothes whatsoever, would mean that: (1) A plea will be rejected or a wish will not be fulfilled. (2) He will be deposed, if he happens to be a ruler; or will lose the headship anyway. (3) Will be criticized for something he insists upon. If the private parts are not protruding and the dreamer does not feel ashamed, though nothing is left of the clothes, the dream means the end of worries and problems. For instance: (a) If the dreamer is ill, God will heal him. (b) If indebted, his debt will be settled. (c) If scared, he will feel secure. (d) No enemy will gloat over him. Braiding (Hair; Intertwine; Plait) Braiding women's hair in a dream is a sign of benefits and the same goes for men who usually braid their hair. Sheep • Passing by sheep: A reference to people like herds of sheep without any ambitions or dreams.
• Being met by sheep: Will be met by men who will challenge the dreamer to fight them, and he will emerge victorious.
• Following a ewe that presses ahead, making it impossible for the dreamer to reach her: Everything will be stalled, that year, and desires will not be fulfilled.
• She goats refer to: Noble men. A slave girl or a corrupt woman, because her private parts are uncovered and she has no tail. A fat she-goat would refer to a booty, a lean one to a poor woman.

• Being naked: (1) Clear conscience. (2) More piety and good deeds. (3) Will become a pilgrim. (4) Will be found innocent. (5) Some deed that the dreamer will regret. (g) Relief from worries. (7) Divorce. (8) Death of the wife.
• Taking off one’s clothes: The emergence of an enemy who conceals his animosity and poses as a friend and a good counsellor.
• Seeing oneself naked in an assembly: Will have a scandal.
• Being naked in a place where there is nobody else: The dreamer’s enemy is trying to bring him down by unveiling his secrets, but to no avail.

Dishevelled (Matted hair; Ruffled hair; Unkempt) In a dream, seeing one's hair dishevelled means stinginess and love to hoard money, or it could mean doing little for others. Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Mental hospital (Insane asylum; Hell-fire; Lunatics; Prison) In a dream, a mental hospital or an insane asylum represents a bathhouse, or a sauna which is the dwelling of evil spirits, the place of uncovering one's private parts, or showing unpleasant conduct in public. A mental hospital in a dream also represents a training school, caring for children's education, teaching children to behave themselves, a place of learning, a school, a playground, a place of clamor and noise, using vile words, stealing money, or separation from one's family and children. House garden A house garden in a dream also represents one's private devotion, fasting, asceticism, piety, fear of wrongdoing, celebrating Allah's praises and exalting His holiness. A house garden in a dream also could mean a marriage within the family, insanity on the part of that house dwellers, paying a financial penalty, or it could mean an imposition. Dye (Color; Expose; Hair; Henna; Hide; Gray hair) Applying henna or a dye to one's hair or hands in a dream represents a pharmacist, celebrations, glad tidings, tenderness, or it could mean compassion. Dyeing one's hair in a dream also means veiling or protecting one's personal life and that of others. To dye the gray hair of one's beard in a dream means ostentatiousness and adorning one's merchandise or deeds to make them look better than reality. Dyeing one's hair in a dream also connotes a display of blessings and favors, or it could mean dictating one's conditions to his enemy, if the person is in such position. However, if not, it means difficulties, aggravation, distress, debts or dropping off one's ties with those who love him. Asylum The asylum, or mental institution, symbolizes frequent travel, asceticism, the heeding of God and reading of the Holy Quran, the stoppage of income, the end of wedlock, the abandoning of children, repentances, the return of religious faith, relief from worries, and sometimes diphtheria (the suffocation disease, to borrow the expression of Al-Nabulsi). It could also represent the bathroom, as madness was believed by the ancient Arabs to be associated with demons and because, like the bathroom, the mental institution is a place where people take off their clothes, show their private parts, and exhibit repulsive manners. For some interpreters, the madhouse refers to the school, because, there, the inpatients were educated by force, in ancient times, and taught to read and write and know the Quran. Naked If one sees himself naked in front of people, and if he finds himself embarrassed, or tries desperately to find a cover but to no avail, it signifies loss of property and wealth. If he stands out naked and people keep looking at his private parts in the dream, it means a scandal or suffering from defamation. Nakedness in a dream also could mean divorce, or death of one's wife. Taking off one's clothing in a dream means loss of position and prestige, loss of work, demotion, or recovering from an illness. If a sick person sees himself changing his soiled garment in a dream, it means that he will recover from his illness, or escape from an adversity or an accident, or that he will be declared innocent from a false accusation. Beard A white beard in a dream means honor, dignity and good fame. If one's beard turns gray, leaving few black hairs in the dream, it means earning respect. If all its hair becomes gray in the dream, it means poverty and loss of integrity. Seeing one's wife having a beard in a dream means increase in one's wealth or growth of the bond business, or sickness of one's wife, or it could mean that she will no longer be able to conceive children, though if she had a son, it means that he will control the entire family. If a woman sees herself having a beard in a dream, it means losing her husband and if she is a widow, it means that she will marry a hard-working man who is compatible with her. If a pregnant woman sees that in a dream, it means that she will beget a son, and if she has a quarrel with someone, it means that she will win the battle and stand for herself with dignity and courage. Shaving If she sees her hair sheared in a dream, it means confinement to her house. If she sees her husband giving her a beautiful haircut and talking to her affectionately in a dream, it means spiritual growth, delivering a trust, or paying one's debts. Trimming women's hair in a dream means inability to conceive children. Cutting one's hair in a dream means losing one's strength. Shaving half of one's beard in a dream means losing one's source of income and dignity. Plucking out one's facial hair in a dream is worst than shaving it, and particularly when hair louses up one's face or attractiveness. Jesus (Alayhi-Salam) Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Umar: Allah's Apostle (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) said, "I saw myself (in a dream) near the Ka'ba last night, and I saw a man with whitish red complexion, the best you may see amongst men of that complexion having long hair reaching his earlobes which was the best hair of its sort, and he had combed his hair and water was dropping from it, and he was performing the Tawaf around the Ka'ba while he was leaning on two men or on the shoulders of two men. I asked, 'Who is this man?' Somebody replied, '(He is) Messiah, son of Mary.' Then I saw another man with very curly hair, blind in the right eye which looked like a protruding out grape. • Being naked and people gazing at the private parts: Scandal.
• A ruler dreaming of having been despoiled of his clothes or left naked: Will have to leave his job.
• A sick person dreaming of having taken off a yellow, red, or black dress: Will heal.
• Getting rid of a dirty dress: Will be safe from trouble.
• A bondsman dreaming that he has undressed or been undressed: Will be freed.
• Dreaming of a dead person as being naked, except for the pudendum and smiling: He is enjoying life in the Hereafter.
• Seeing an unknown naked woman: The land will go bare; a harvest will be destroyed; trees will lose their leaves.
• A woman taking off her black clothes: The day will begin.

Rain • Taking shelter under a roof or near a wall during the rainy season: (1) Travel or work will be delayed due to sickness or lack of financial means. (2) The dreamer will be jailed as much as there was rain.
• Taking shelter under a roof or near a wall while it is raining in the wrong season: (1) The dreamer will be slandered and harmed. (2) The dreamer will be beaten as much as there was rain.
• Raining on one’s house in particular: (1) Welfare, benefits, and dignity. (2) Calamities, pain, and diseases, including perhaps smallpox in that house.
• Using rainwater to wash one’s face, clean one’s private parts after a sexual act, remove some impurity on one’s body or clothes, or conduct ablutions: (1) If an atheist, the dreamer will become Muslim. (2) If a heretic or a sinner, the dreamer will repent. (3) If the dreamer is poor, he will become rich, by the grace of Allah.
