Sodomy vigour, as the words grandfather and endeavours are homonyms in Arabic.
• An identified dead man sodomizing a living human: The latter will obtain a share from the former’s bequest or from his heirs or kith and kin.
• Sodomizing a dead man: The dreamer will pray for the latter.

An Amputated Hand If a person sees his hand being amputated, it suggest that either his brother or his friend will die; or his partner will dissolve his partnership with the observer. The above will only be true if the observer did not pick up the amputated limb. But if he did, it suggest that a brother or child will be born or he will befriend someone. Scissors If one sees a pair of scissors falling from the skies in a dream, they represent the scissors of destiny and the end of his life in this world. Clipping people's beards in a dream means backbiting them. A pair of scissors in a dream also represents business partners. Sheep shearing with a pair of scissors in a dream means prosperity. Donkey • Hearing the cry of a donkey and similar animals without seeing them: Torrential rain.
• For a traveller, it is better to see the donkey going slowly. The trip will be as comfortable as the donkey looked well in the dream.
• Fighting a donkey: Some relatives will die.
• Making love to a donkey: Will be overactive. If the donkey was the active partner, you will become tremendously rich and handsome.

Button If an unwed person sees himself buttoning a shirt in a dream, it means that he will get married, or that he will play an important role in uniting two people, or to bring peace between two partners, or that he will revive an old and a forsaken project. Tying one's buttons in a dream means getting married, or going through difficult financial circumstances. Wearing a buttoned shirt in a dream means experiencing tight circumstances, or reuniting with a traveller returning home, or marriage of an unmarried person. Wife A wife in a dream represents a partner, an enemy, an unjust ruler, one's opponent, prosperity, a vehicle, earthly wealth, worldly pleasures, the combination of comfort and toiling, or she could mean honor, class, or whatever indication of personality or character the wife may stand for in the dream. Walk Conversely, walking barefoot for a man could also mean trouble and weariness, divorce, or the death of his wife, unless he sees himself taking away his shoes or sandals to walk more freely. In the latter case, it means that he will get a high post or become a governor.

One-eyed If a humble and a hard-working person sees that, it testifies to the trueness of his faith. If an impious person, or a corrupt person, or an impostor sees that dream, it means distress, a sickness that could bring him near his death, or to lose one hand in an accident, or to lose one's wife, or sister, or partner, or loss of blessings, or becoming sacrilegious and profane. Hyena Thus, when interpreted to means a woman, it means that one may marry such a woman. Shooting a hyena with an arrow in a dream means corresponding with such a woman. Throwing a stone or a walnut at a hyena in a dream means slandering a woman. Hitting a hyena with a sword in a dream means lashing at such a woman with bad words. Drinking hyena's milk in a dream means suffering losses at the hand of such a woman through betrayal. Stabbing a hyena in a dream means doing business with such a woman, or managing her business, or getting married to someone in her family. Getting hold of the skin, bones, or hair of a hyena in a dream means taking advantage of such a woman and using her for her money. Incident - The Moon merging in Alcyone Once Imam Ibn Sirin was sitting to eat his lunch when a woman came and said: "I saw a dream." Ibn Sirin replied: "Would you let me eat first, or would you like me to stop and listen to your dream?" The woman said: "Eat first," and she sat waiting for him. During the course of his meal, Ibn Sirin said to the woman: "Tell me your dream." The woman said: "I saw the moon merging in Alcyone." (The brightest star of the constellation Taurus, arb. Thurayya. Mare A mare represents a wife and an honest and useful woman. The black mare symbolizes the religious woman who enjoys fame. The piebald or spotted mare is a woman famous for her beauty and wealth. The light-colored mare is a merry and active woman. The gray mare is also a religious woman.

Supplication • The victim of an injustice praying or supplicating God: Will be out of worries.
• Supplicating God several times and seeking His help against Satan: (1) Will learn something wise and useful. (2) Will become self-sufficient. (3) Will be safe from the enemy. (4) Will be secure from a treacherous partner. (5) If ill, will recover, especially where sorcery is the underlying reason for one’s illness. (6) The soul will be purified. (7) Will give up atheism to become Muslim.

Blood • Falling in a vat or large vessel, a jar, or a pit full of blood: Excitement.
• The blood of a woman having her menses: (1) For a single woman: A husband. (2) For a pregnant woman: Abortion. (3) For a woman having given up all hope of having her menses: Disease.

Paradise • Reclining on one of the couches of Paradise: The dreamer’s wife is virtuous and good.
• The dreamer being unable to recall when he entered Paradise: His dignity and prosperity will last forever.
• Being banned from entering Paradise and taking any of its fruits: The dreamer has abandoned religion and become corrupt in view of the Quranic verse: “They surely disbelieve who say: Lo! Allah is the Messiah, son of Mary. The Messiah (himself) said: O Children of Israel, worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord. Lo! whoso ascribeth partners unto Allah, for him Allah hath forbidden Paradise. His abode is the Fire. For evildoers there will be no helpers.” (“Al-Maidah” [The Table Spread], verse 72.) Death • Death of a daughter: Despair will replace joy.
• Death of a sick brother: (1) The brother in question will die. (2) Someone from that brother’s side will pass away.
• A person who has no brother dreaming that his brother has died: (1) The dreamer will die or go broke. (2) The dreamer will lose an eye or a hand.
• Death of a conjoint or a partner: Divorce or the end of a partnership.

Blind • Being blind, then healed by a person: That person will lead the dreamer to the right path, help him repent, and serve his interests.
• A decent person dreaming of being blind in one eye: He is a true believer, and his testimony is genuine.
• A debauchee dreaming of being blind in one eye: (1) Will become half-religious. (2) Disease and worries will bring him near death. (3) Will be injured in the body, perhaps more particularly in one hand. (4) Harm will befall the dreamer’s children, wife, brother, or partner. (5) No more livelihood or gifts from God. Horse • Disagreement between the horseman and the beast: Insubordination of a slave or servant, disagreement with a business partner, or incongruity and rebellion of the wife.
• Seeing the pendent of a horse: The enemy will beat the horseman.
• Seeing horsemen flying in the air: Temptation, intrigue, and war will erupt in that place.
• Horses running bare between houses without their saddles and stirrups: Torrential rain.
• Seeing a herd of horses with saddles on their back but no stirrups: Women will gather in a wedding or a funeral.
• Owning or looking after a number of horses: The dreamer will become a governor or have more influence in his sphere.
• Riding on a saddled stallion or mare: Dignity and authority, because riding is the privilege of kings and horses are what King Solomon used to ride. Such an authority could come through a woman the dreamer would marry or a slave girl he would buy. However, such a dream would not augur well in any case if the subject rode without reins, which symbolize guidance, wisdom, religion, and command. Losing the reins would also mean that welfare will slip away.

Sodomy • Sodomizing a young but unknown man: Triumph over an enemy (young men generally being regarded as enemies) if the dreamer knows him and there is a dispute between the two. In the absence of hostility, it means that the passive partner will receive some benefit from the active one, his homonym (a person sharing the same name), or a counterpart. The same interpretation would apply, but with a lesser victory or less benefits, if impassioned kisses and intercourse in bed between the two men does not culminate in sodomy. If the dreamer sees himself kissing a man without sexual passion, it means that he will receive some benefit from the one he has kissed inasmuch as he was accepted. Shoe • Walking with a pair of shoes and losing one of them: Will be separated from a brother or partner.
• Taking one’s shoes to the shoemaker to have them ornamented: The dreamer is renting his wife.
• One’s shoes falling in the water and disappearing: The wife will die. If the dreamer finds them and takes them out, the wife will be cured, after nearing death.
• One’s shoes falling: Wife will be criticized.

Vineyard (Espalier; Grapevine; Trellis; Woman) A vineyard in a dream represents honor and strength, and the same goes for all fruit trees. A vineyard in a dream is also interpreted to represent a wealthy woman. Cutting branches from a grapevine in a dream means receiving money from a noble woman. Thus, an espalier in a dream represents a generous woman. A grapevine in the wintertime in a dream represents a woman who has lost her wealth, though one still thinks that she is rich.
