Glass According to Daniel the Wise, as quoted by Ibn Shaheen, glass symbolizes women. For Ibn Siren, manufactured white glass represents religion and life, especially if the name God is written on or carved in it. Otherwise, it refers to the ephemeral. Meadow The same interpretation is given if one sees himself walking between two different markets. If one sees a deceased person sitting in the meadows in a dream, it means that he is in paradise. Meadows in a dream also represent the world and its pleasures, or they could represent a rich wife. Seeing an unusual meadow which is admired only when beheld, and enjoyed especially when visited in a dream represents a revered place, a house of Allah, a mosque, the grave of a prophet, or the graves of the righteous ones. Bismalah If a deceased person writes it in one's dream, it means that such a person dwells encompassed with Allah's mercy. If the one who wrote it in the dream is alive and if he erases it or if a bird steals it from him in the dream, it means the nearing of his death and exhaustion of his sustenance in this world. If one recites it during his prayers in a dream when it is not his custom to do so, it means borrowing an unnecessary amount of money or giving preference to leaning toward one's mother rather than his father or the opposite. Wash It could also refer to an honest man who brings back to the right path many people who had gone astray or were misleading others.
• Lying on a mortuary washing table: Promotion and the end of worries.
• One or more dead persons requesting the dreamer to wash their clothes: The dreamer is requested to recall God, pray for someone, give sadaqa, or alms, settle a debt, satisfy an adversary, or carry out a will.

Deposit (Mortgage; Security; Trust) Depositing something with someone in a dream means trusting him with a secret. Entrusting something to a deceased person in a dream means entrusting someone who can keep a secret, or it could mean that he will entrust someone with an object or money that will be lost, or it could mean confiding to someone who cannot be trusted. Entrusting one's wife with something in a dream means conceiving a child. If she gives him back what he gave her in the dream, it means that her pregnancy will not reach fruition. Pride (Conceit; Vainglory; Vanity) In a dream, pride or vainglory signifies oppression and injustice. Every conceited person in a dream is an unjust person in reality. If one sees a deceased person showing pride in a dream, it means that he is one at whom Allah Almighty does not look on the Day of Judgment, and particularly if he looks different in the dream. Beating However, if one sees himself in a dream beating a deceased person, this could be interpreted to denote the strength of his faith, certitude, prayers and charitable nature. It also could mean benefits from a business trip or pursuing a lost interest. Beating in a dream when it causes no pain, bleeding or scratches means receiving a new garment, paying debts, or hearing sarcastic comments. Laughing If one sees the earth laughing in a dream, it means a good harvest in that land. If one sees a deceased person laughing in a dream, it means that he is in paradise, and enjoying the blessings of the hereafter. Laughing in a dream also represents light headedness, frivolity and buoyancy. This is particularly true when it denotes capable people, or people in authority, where laughing in a dream could mean their dismissal from office. Carnelian-red Such blessings will manifest in one's work and success in his material as well as spiritual life. Kiss • Kissing or going to bed with a highly sophisticated woman with plenty of makeup, et cetera: Will marry a widow, benefit from her wealth, have children by her, and enjoy a prosperous year.
• Kissing an identified dead person: Will benefit from the latter’s intellectual legacy or money or something he had done during his lifetime.
• Kissing an unidentified dead person: Will acquire money from an undesirable source.

Blithe (Cheerfulness; Light-headedness) In a dream, blithe signifies comfort, a good spirit and particularly for a grateful person. This also applies for seeing a deceased person in a state of cheerfulness. A blithely person in a dream is one who is grateful for the blessings endowed upon him by Allah Almighty of having a family, love, affection and for the ability to do good deeds. Messmate (Sharing a table; Table companion) To share a table with a deceased person in a dream means that one will be paying a pecuniary penalty that will be exacted by the authorities. Sharing a table with someone who is away on a trip in a dream means receiving news from him. King If one sees his own hand turn into the king's hand in a dream, it means that he will receive a leading job. If one sees the king flying with wings in a dream, it means that his authority will spread. Shroud If one sees a shroud and does not wear it in his dream, it means that he will be lured to engage in adultery, though he will abstain. Being wrapped in a shroud like a dead person in a dream means one's death. If one's head and feet are still uncovered in the dream, it represents his religious failure and corruption. The smaller is the wrap shrouding the deceased in a dream, the closer he is to repentance and the larger is the wrap and more complete is his preparation for burial in the dream, the further he is from repentance. Mole (zool.) A mole in a dream means blindness, uncertainty, unavoidable circumstances, disappearing from social circles, or it could mean incompetence in one's field. A mole in a dream also could mean having sharp hearing, or correcting one's vision if one happens to have hearing disability or sight problems. If a mole is seen beside a deceased person in a dream, it represents hell-fire. Seeing a mole in a dream also may indicate finding support in mundane endeavors. Clothes A man told Ibn Siren, “I dreamed that I bought an ornamented cloth of the best silk, which was folded up. When I unfolded and hung it, I found it rotten in the middle.” “Did you buy an Andalusian slave?” asked Ibn Siren. “Yes,” said the man. “Did you have sex with her?” “No,” said the man, “for I have not yet checked her.” “Don’t bother to do so, because her genitals are stinking.” And so it was when the man had his new slave checked by his women.

Dig Digging symbolizes sly backbiting, wasted speech, or simple endeavours. The gravedigger is a prestigious and awesome man.
• Digging in the grave of a holy man with one’s nails: The dreamer is endeavouring to follow the path of the deceased.
• Digging in the grave of the Muslims Prophet Muhammad with one’s nails: The dreamer will refresh his memory about the Sunnah (Muhammad’s Tradition) and will benefit many people. Leprosy Leprosy symbolizes: (1) A cloth without ornament. (2) Money. Dreaming of being piebald (black and white) means one will contract leprosy. It is always better to dream of oneself having such dreadful diseases than of others. Church • Seeing a church being destroyed, burning, or undergoing some other calamity: Stronger religious faith (for the Muslims) and defeat for the polytheists and the hypocrites.
• A church turning into a synagogue or vice versa: Some accident will befall the aliens (non-Muslims) living in an Islamic country.
• Seeing one’s house as a church: (1) Will talk the language of the Christians and turn one’s home into a meeting place for the whimsical, the heretics, and those who commit all sorts of sins. (2) The dreamer’s chief will be angry with him.

• Sand being levelled upon the dreamer in the grave: Will gain money.
• Backfilling a grave: Long life and lasting health.
• Being put in a grave, as a dead person, without being preserved: Will make love to a woman.
• A grave in an unknown place: Will go along with a hypocrite.
• Numerous graves in an unknown place: Hypocrites.
• Well-known graves: The truth or some rights that the dreamer is forgetting.
