Hyena Thus, when interpreted to means a woman, it means that one may marry such a woman. Shooting a hyena with an arrow in a dream means corresponding with such a woman. Throwing a stone or a walnut at a hyena in a dream means slandering a woman. Hitting a hyena with a sword in a dream means lashing at such a woman with bad words. Drinking hyena's milk in a dream means suffering losses at the hand of such a woman through betrayal. Stabbing a hyena in a dream means doing business with such a woman, or managing her business, or getting married to someone in her family. Incident - The Moon merging in Alcyone Once Imam Ibn Sirin was sitting to eat his lunch when a woman came and said: "I saw a dream." Ibn Sirin replied: "Would you let me eat first, or would you like me to stop and listen to your dream?" The woman said: "Eat first," and she sat waiting for him. During the course of his meal, Ibn Sirin said to the woman: "Tell me your dream." The woman said: "I saw the moon merging in Alcyone." (The brightest star of the constellation Taurus, arb. Thurayya. Swallow If one sees swallows flying away from his house in a dream, it means that his wife or a relative will abandon him, or separate from him and travel away from that town. In general, swallows and starlings in a dream represent people who are financially comfortable, or they could represent death, grief, or good deeds, movement, chanting, benevolence, or weddings. Seeing a swallow in a dream also may mean marriage to a trustworthy woman, or it could represent a good household manager. If one is transformed into a swallow in a dream, it means that thieves will rob his house. Seeing a dead swallow in a dream is a warning to revert one's actions and to engage in doing good. Bismalah If a deceased person writes it in one's dream, it means that such a person dwells encompassed with Allah's mercy. Mare A mare represents a wife and an honest and useful woman. The black mare symbolizes the religious woman who enjoys fame. The piebald or spotted mare is a woman famous for her beauty and wealth. The light-colored mare is a merry and active woman. The gray mare is also a religious woman.

Ring • Borrowing a ring: The dreamer will own something that will not last.
• Taking a ring from a king: A house the dreamer enters, dwells in, or owns. The stone is the gate or door of that house. A girl or a woman whom the dreamer marries and whose ring-shaped vagina he will deflower by introducing “the finger of his belly” (penis) in it. The stone represents her face.
• Wearing the king’s ring: (1) The dreamer will be given a province. (2) The dreamer will succeed his father. (3) In case the dreamer has no father or if his father is dead, the reverse of what he wishes will happen or he will be given a useless province.

Blood • Falling in a vat or large vessel, a jar, or a pit full of blood: Excitement.
• The blood of a woman having her menses: (1) For a single woman: A husband. (2) For a pregnant woman: Abortion. (3) For a woman having given up all hope of having her menses: Disease.

Aba As-Sa'ib Dying Righteously Narrated Kharija bin Zaid bin Thabit: Um Al-'Ala an Ansari woman who had given the Pledge of allegiance to Allah's Apostle said, "'Uthman bin Maz'un came in our share when the Ansars drew lots to distribute the emigrants (to dwell) among themselves, He became sick and we looked after (nursed) him till he died. Then we shrouded him in his clothes. Allah's Apostle (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) came to us, I (addressing the dead body) said, "May Allah's Mercy be on you, O Aba As-Sa'ib! I testify that Allah has honored you." The Prophet said, 'How do you know that?' I replied, 'I do not know, by Allah.' He said, 'As for him, death has come to him and I wish him all good from Allah. By Allah, though I am Allah's Apostle, I neither know what will happen to me, nor to you.'" Um Al-'Ala said, "By Allah, I will never attest the righteousness of anybody after that." She added, "Later I saw in a dream, a flowing spring for 'Uthman. So I went to Allah's Apostle and mentioned that to him. Ship A ship in a dream also represents a heavy built woman. In a dream, a ship also represents the Bridge of Judgement (Sirat) that will be stretched on the Day of Resurrection for the creation to cross into the land of the Grand Gathering. A ship in a dream also represents salvation, avoiding ignorance, or overcoming temptation. If a sick person sees himself riding in the morgue of a ship with dead people in a dream, it means that he will escape from the trials of this world. If a healthy person who is seeking knowledge does so in a dream, it means that he may meet with a spiritual teacher to benefit from his knowledge and wisdom, and to escape from ignorance. Camel • A camel entering the dreamer’s mouth or any part of his body: Will be possessed by a demon.
• A camel dying in a house: The sick father of the family or the dreamer’s chief or son (if ill) will die. The camel’s flesh falling apart and its bones being scattered represent a heritage.
• A slaughtered camel: Injustice.
• Slaughtering a camel to eat it in a house where no one is ill: (1) Will open a store. (2) Will help justice prevail and be rewarded for that.

Jew • Being a Jew means the dreamer will fail to perform the Muslim rites and, therefore, be punished by God while still alive and experience humiliation because, says Ibn Siren, those Jews who had committed an aggression by fishing on a Saturday (Sabbath day), thus transgressing the injunctions of God, were turned into apes. The story is narrated in chapter VII of the Holy Quran, titled “Al-Aaraf’ (The Heights), verses 163–67.34

The Honor of Aba As-Sa'ib Narrated Kharija bin Zaid bin Thabit: Um Al-'Ala an Ansari woman who had given a pledge of allegiance to Allah's Apostle (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) told me:, "The Muhajirln (emigrants) were distributed amongst us by drawing lots, and we got 'Uthman bin Maz'un in our share. We made him stay with us in our house. Then he suffered from a disease which proved fatal. When he died and was given a bath and was shrouded in his clothes. Allah's Apostle came, I said, (addressing the dead body), 'O Aba As-Sa'ib! May Allah be Merciful to you! I testify that Allah has honored you.' Allah's Apostle said, 'How do you know that Allah has honored him?" I replied, 'Let my father be sacrificed for you, O Allah's Apostle! On whom else shall Allah bestow. His honor?' Allah's Apostle said, 'As for him, by Allah, death has come to him. By Allah, I wish him all good (from Allah). By Allah, in spite of the fact that I am Allah's Apostle, I do not know what Allah will do to me.", Um Al-'Ala added, "By Allah, I will never attest the righteousness of anybody after that." Ear The ear symbolizes the man’s wife or daughter. It also represents religion.
• Having three ears: The dreamer has a wife and two daughters.
• Having four ears: (1) The dreamer has four women. (2) He has four girls without a mother.
• Having one ear: No relative will stay alive.
• Having half an ear: Wife will die and the dreamer will remarry.
• One ear having fallen: (1) Will divorce. (2) A daughter will die.
• Wearing an earring: Will marry one’s daughter to someone, and she will give birth to a male child.

Burial • Being buried alive in a grave: The doer will subdue the dreamer and perhaps lock him up, but the latter will escape such harm, unless he died in the rest of the dream, in which case he would die overwhelmed by all sorts of trouble and related worries.

• Burying one’s enemy: Will overpower him.
• A group of people burying a person: (1) Bad omen. (2) Those people will gang up to destroy that person.

Thunderbolt Thunderbolts in a dream are signs of punishment, illness or death. If a thunderbolt hits and burns something in the dream, it means false rumours, damages, financial losses, recession, or dumping of merchandise. A thunderbolt in a dream also means a warning for a sinner, the punishment for his crime, devastation, calamities, diseases, tornados, plagues, a blast, a major political shift, tyranny, decapitation, a bad death, incineration, burning people alive, or a robbery. Incident - a king trying to Annihilate the Muslims The Alim said to the king that he would interpret the dream only if he guaranteed their safety which he did. The learned Alim interpreted the dream thus; “O king, I see no wisdom in your wanting to kill the Muslims and marching on them for this purpose. Please do not deploy your army for they will not return to you alive. They will be defeated and destroyed. And do not for one moment think that I give this interpretation because I am a Muslim”. The king asked him for proof to which he replied that the Holy Book of Allah was the source for his proof. Lesbianism • A woman dreaming that she has a pair of testicles: Might bear twins.
• A lady eating another woman’s flesh: Will have a lesbian experience with her or each of them will try to overpower the other physically or otherwise.
• A woman having sex with another: Will confide her secrets and share the views and acts of her homosexual partner. If she does not know her lesbian mate, she will do something wrong.
• A woman who has a man of her own dreaming that another female has engaged her in sexual intercourse: Will part from that man, become a widow, and as the days go by share secrets with her lesbian sex partner.
