Tooth • The upper teeth falling on one’s knees: A male child will be born. • Teeth falling on the ground: Death. • Teeth growing in the heart: Death. • Catching a falling tooth and refraining from burying it: Will give advice to whomever that tooth refers to. • All the teeth of healthy, free persons, or travellers falling: (1) Long disease. (2) Troubles of all kinds but no death, because the teeth of those who die do not fall. Therefore, the same dream is a good one for those who are already ill. It means that they will recover fast. (3) For travelling merchants the dream means that their luggage or cargo is light, especially if the teeth were seen moving. • All the teeth falling, but catching them up in one’s sleeve or seeing them falling on the knees: Will live long, till all the teeth fall, and will have a large family at home. Lance If one does repair a broken lance in a dream, it means recovering from an illness. A lance without a spearhead in a dream means the death of one's brother or child. A lance in a dream also represents a brother or a friend who will part with his brother or friend, or it could mean loss of one's job. Walking with a lance in one's hand in the middle of a marketplace in a dream means walking or strolling with one's son. As for a pregnant woman, a metal lance means that she will deliver a girl, and that she will receive a gift of money or a present after her birth from other daughters. Bed The covers of one's bed in a dream represent his wife, his livelihood, or his mistress. Whatever stands on top of a bed represents one's male children and whatever is hidden under it represents one's female children. A bed in a dream also represents happiness, joy and dignity. It may also represent a wife, a ship, or a coffin. If one's bed falls apart or breaks into pieces in a dream, it means loss of authority, dismissal from one's job, divorcing one's wife, or it could mean her death. If one sees himself sitting over an unknown bed in a dream, it means marriage or conceiving a child. Sitting over a bed without a mattress means death, or a business trip. If a woman sees herself bringing a bed into her house in a dream, it means that she will get married. Silver • If the earring is coupled with a sword: The dreamer will have a girl child. If the dreamer is a pregnant woman, she will give birth to a boy. • A man wearing a twisted silver ring: Good deed. Unlike the case of a golden ring. • Wearing a silver ring: Great joy and comfortable living. • A silver girdle, belt, or sash: Justice will prevail in the area, as mintaqa in Arabic is used both for belt and district. • Wearing anklets made of silver, especially a colored one: The dreamer will renew a deal with one’s brothers to regret it later on or perhaps will use a whip. • Wearing or bearing any silver ornament with something carved on it: Welfare. Ring The ring symbolizes tremendous power or a great ruler—a king. Its stone is the awe he inspires. The armorial bearings or seal on a ring means the exercise of the king’s influence as well as his assets and the scope of his realm. The seal as such is a symbol of the dreamer’s authority and ability to command. The carvings are what he wants or desires. The ring also represents what the dreamer owns and what he can do. It refers as well to children, women, boys, the purchase of a slave, a house, an animal, and money or a realm, in case the dreamer is eligible. One exception is that for a man a golden ring means subservience and humiliation. Nevertheless, if it has a stone in it, it alludes to the man’s power, prestige, and endeavours. The stone also alludes to a male child. • A pious or ascetic person receiving a silver ring from God: The dreamer will be favoured by the Almighty and immune from Hell. Hair Hair in one's ears in a dream means knowledge, or admonition. Seeing hair in one's noses in a dream represents a beneficial thing one breezes, though it may involve some hidden trouble, or it could mean money. Hair covering woman's body in a dream means remaining celibate and for a married woman it means taking care of her parents and children. A hairy child in a dream means longevity. If a beardless man sees himself hairy in a dream, it means that his wife will soon be pregnant. Eggs If one sees his wife laying an egg in a dream, it means that she will bear a child who will lack faith in Allah. If the egg breaks in the dream, it means that his newborn will die shortly after birth. If one sees himself raising chicken for eggs, then if the eggs hatch in his dream, it means that some of his affairs that where unsolvable will rejuvenate with success, and it could mean that he will beget a child who will grow to have true faith in Allah Almighty. Cow • Cows assembled in a place: Disturbances or riots. • An identified number of cows entering a city, following each other: Years commensurate with the size of the cows and in the same order. If they entered a coastal city together or at random similar ships will arrive. Otherwise, they would be a series of intrigues very much alike, as the cows faces resemble each other. Yellow or red cows would automatically mean disease and epidemics. • Cows of different colours with terrible, dreadful horns and fire or smoke coming out of their mouths or noses: Coming enemy soldiers or some kind of assault. • A pregnant cow: A hopefully fertile year or the dreamer’s wife will become pregnant. Pregnancy As for a woman, her pregnancy in a dream means losing her virginity before marriage, or that she will marry an unsuitable person. If a barren woman sees herself pregnant in a dream, it means a bad harvest for that year, or it could mean a robbery in her neighbourhood. If an unmarried woman or a young virgin sees herself pregnant in a dream, it means that she will find a compatible husband. Pregnancy in a dream has many meanings. The Back and Loins These symbolise a perbond honour, dignity and nobility. At other times the back or the loins symbolise a child since a child is born of a perbond back. Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Gold • For women, bracelets and anklets refer to the husband. Jewels symbolize their children. Gold is the male child and silver the girls. Unmanufactured gold is worse than gold made into jewels, because in the latter case its ugly name, thahab (gone), is changed into bangle or something else. • Wearing a pendant or necklace: Will be entrusted with some high function or given a country or city to rule. • A man wearing a pendent partly made of gold: Will perform the pilgrimage to Mecca (Mecca (Makkah)). If the pendent is completely made of gold, he will become a ruler or a chief. In general, the pendent symbolizes man’s power and value. The longer and the heavier the better. • A man wearing a golden earring: He is a good singer. • Receiving a golden ring, a typical ring: Weakening religious faith, unless something is carved on it. • Receiving a golden ring that does not look like a ring and with nothing carved on it: Will lose some belonging or will arouse the chief’s wrath and anger. Jesus If one sees himself in a dream as Jesus (Alayhi-Salam), or if he wears one of his garments, or performs a duty suitable for Allah's prophet, it means that he will rise in rank. If he is a scholar, it means that his knowledge will be widely spread and his virtues and servitude will benefit others, or if one is a physician, it means that he will become renowned and most successful. If one who sees him is struck by fear and reverence in his dream, it means honor, power and blessing wherever he may go. If a sick person sees him in a dream, it means that he will recover from his illness. If one sees Jesus sick, it means one's own death. Bricks (Adobe; Argillites; Plaster) In a dream, bricks mean lawful money. If they are interpreted to means a child, then they represent a miscarried fetus, or a child who may die in his infancy. Pregnancy In general, pregnancy means that the dreamer’s share in life will increase, be he a man or a woman. But there is a host of contradictions in the interpretation of such a dream. • Seeing one’s wife pregnant: The dreamer is aiming for something. • A man dreaming that he is pregnant: (1) His share in the world will increase inasmuch as the belly was big. (2) Sorrow is ahead. (3) If he had given birth to a boy (in the dream), that means big calamity. Conversely, a girl means benefit. (4) He has severe problems and worries that nobody has noticed yet. They are likely to grow further, and he might be uncovered. (5) If a scholar, the dreamer will acquire more knowledge. (6) If a craftsman, the dreamer will earn money to somebody else’s benefit. Pregnancy (Childbearing; Planting) In a dream, a pregnancy indicates woman's success, diligence and assiduity in pursuing her goals. In a dream, pregnancy also means receiving recognition, respect and prosperity. If a man sees himself pregnant in a dream, it means that he suffers from heaviness in his life, or it could represent one's fear of exposing his problems in public. In general, pregnancy in a dream represents material gains. If a woman sees herself pregnant in a dream, it means difficulties and adversities beside some troubling secrets she maybe hiding. Mirror it symbolises a perbond wife. If a person sees himself as looking into a mirror, if his wife is expecting, she will give birth to a son who will resemble him. But if she is not nor does he have a son it means he will lose his job and someone else will take his position. If a pregnant woman sees herself looking into the mirror she will give birth to a girl who will resemble her in every way. But if she is not pregnant it means her husband will marry another woman who will occupy the same house. If a little boys sees himself looking into a mirror, a brother resembling him will be born.
