Shroud If one sees a shroud and does not wear it in his dream, it means that he will be lured to engage in adultery, though he will abstain. Being wrapped in a shroud like a dead person in a dream means one's death. If one's head and feet are still uncovered in the dream, it represents his religious failure and corruption. The smaller is the wrap shrouding the deceased in a dream, the closer he is to repentance and the larger is the wrap and more complete is his preparation for burial in the dream, the further he is from repentance. Aba As-Sa'ib Dying Righteously Narrated Kharija bin Zaid bin Thabit: Um Al-'Ala an Ansari woman who had given the Pledge of allegiance to Allah's Apostle said, "'Uthman bin Maz'un came in our share when the Ansars drew lots to distribute the emigrants (to dwell) among themselves, He became sick and we looked after (nursed) him till he died. Then we shrouded him in his clothes. Allah's Apostle (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) came to us, I (addressing the dead body) said, "May Allah's Mercy be on you, O Aba As-Sa'ib! I testify that Allah has honored you." The Prophet said, 'How do you know that?' I replied, 'I do not know, by Allah.' He said, 'As for him, death has come to him and I wish him all good from Allah. By Allah, though I am Allah's Apostle, I neither know what will happen to me, nor to you.'" Um Al-'Ala said, "By Allah, I will never attest the righteousness of anybody after that." She added, "Later I saw in a dream, a flowing spring for 'Uthman. So I went to Allah's Apostle and mentioned that to him. The Honor of Aba As-Sa'ib Narrated Kharija bin Zaid bin Thabit: Um Al-'Ala an Ansari woman who had given a pledge of allegiance to Allah's Apostle (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) told me:, "The Muhajirln (emigrants) were distributed amongst us by drawing lots, and we got 'Uthman bin Maz'un in our share. We made him stay with us in our house. Then he suffered from a disease which proved fatal. When he died and was given a bath and was shrouded in his clothes. Allah's Apostle came, I said, (addressing the dead body), 'O Aba As-Sa'ib! May Allah be Merciful to you! I testify that Allah has honored you.' Allah's Apostle said, 'How do you know that Allah has honored him?" I replied, 'Let my father be sacrificed for you, O Allah's Apostle! On whom else shall Allah bestow. His honor?' Allah's Apostle said, 'As for him, by Allah, death has come to him. By Allah, I wish him all good (from Allah). By Allah, in spite of the fact that I am Allah's Apostle, I do not know what Allah will do to me.", Um Al-'Ala added, "By Allah, I will never attest the righteousness of anybody after that." Cummerbund If one is given a cummerbund, and if he does not wear it in the dream, then it means travels. A broken cummerbund in a dream means loss of power or perhaps one's death. If one sees a snake rather than a cummerbund around his waist in a dream, it represents a money belt. A cummerbund in a dream also means work for a jobless person, a wife for an unmarried person, and should it be carrying many ornaments, then it means the added blessing of having several children. Nosebleed • Having a nosebleed: Will find a treasure.
• An abundant but thin nosebleed: Will earn lasting money.
• A heavy and thick nosebleed: Will have a miscarriage. Bleeding from the nose but assuming that the bleeding is good: Benefits from the chief. Harmful bleeding from the nose: A benefit from the chief would turn out to be a calamity. In case the dreamer is himself a chief, one or two drops would mean benefits; the equivalent of one or two quarts of supposedly beneficial bleeding would mean physical fitness and religious devotion or the end of a sinful situation. In the event of a harmful nosebleed, the chief’s religious faith will weaken and he will commit a sin.
• Dreaming of having lost all strength after a nosebleed: The dreamer will become poor. The reverse is also true.
• Nose blood spilling on the dreamer’s clothes: The dreamer will earn dirty money and commit sins. If the clothes had not been stained, the hero of such a dream would halt whatever sin he is committing.

Silver “Goblets of silver are brought round for them, and beakers (as) of glass, (bright as) glass but (made) of silver, which they (themselves) have measured to the measure (of their deeds)… their raiment will be fine green silk and gold embroidery. Bracelets of silver will they wear. Hyena Thus, when interpreted to means a woman, it means that one may marry such a woman. Shooting a hyena with an arrow in a dream means corresponding with such a woman. Throwing a stone or a walnut at a hyena in a dream means slandering a woman. Hitting a hyena with a sword in a dream means lashing at such a woman with bad words. Drinking hyena's milk in a dream means suffering losses at the hand of such a woman through betrayal. Stabbing a hyena in a dream means doing business with such a woman, or managing her business, or getting married to someone in her family. Getting hold of the skin, bones, or hair of a hyena in a dream means taking advantage of such a woman and using her for her money. Defeat If a believer sees himself defeated in a dream, it means that he will wear the helmet of a warrior and win the battle against his enemy. If one sees himself defeated and shows no fear in the dream, it means his death. If one sees soldiers retreating into a city to take shelter therein in a dream, it means that they will ultimately win their war, even if their cause is unjust or if they represented a tyrant, though they will ultimately have to pay for their crimes. Panties If one wears his underpants inside-out in his dream, it means that he indulges in the loathsome and forbidden act of anal intercourse with his wife. If one sees himself wearing his underpants without the underwear shirt in a dream, it means poverty. Wearing fancy underpants in a dream means travels, or financial growth. Headgear (Tiara; Turban) A headgear in a dream means a presidency, travels, or marriage. If one receives a headgear, or a tiara in a dream, it means that he may undertake a distant trip. If one wears a headgear in his dream, it means that he may hold a seat in the government. If one is accustomed to wearing a headgear then wearing it in a dream represents his superior, the governor, his brother, his father, his uncle, his teacher, or a scholar, for they all have equal right upon him. Sulayman • Seeing the prophet and king Sulayman (Solomon): (1) Prestige and promotion till becoming a sultan, a king, a judge, a governor, or a scholar who gives legal counsel based on religious knowledge or jurisprudence, if eligible for such high honours. And the dreamer will be obeyed by both his friends and foes. The dream is more likely to come true if King Solomon placed his crown on the dreamer’s head, gave him his ring to wear, or allowed him to sit on his bed. (2) If the dreamer is already a ruler or a chief, he will be removed, but only temporarily. (3) The dreamer will marry a rich and prestigious woman through a ruse. (4) The dreamer will experience hardships and sorrow from the women’s side. (5) Money, welfare, and successful endeavours. (6) The dreamer will travel frequently, go to distant places, and return quickly. (7) The dreamer will be safe, as Sulayman comes from the Arabic Salama, which means “safety.” If the dreamer is ill, he will recover. (8) The dreamer will be well off in the Hereafter. (9) The dreamer will achieve windfall profits by dealing in birds, manufacturing bottles, and resorting to witchcraft, using the services of the jinn. (10) The dreamer will lose a fortune and recover it after abandoning all hope. (11) The dreamer will reverse an unfavourable situation and triumph over the enemy. (12) Winds will always be favourable, especially if the dreamer is a sailor or is operating a windmill. (13) God will shower his blessings on the dreamer, who will acquire knowledge and master languages. (14) Possessing Solomon’s scepter means the dreamer will speak a lot about people, slander, and backbiting or will die, if ill. (15) The dreamer will learn medicine. Incident - The Moon merging in Alcyone Once Imam Ibn Sirin was sitting to eat his lunch when a woman came and said: "I saw a dream." Ibn Sirin replied: "Would you let me eat first, or would you like me to stop and listen to your dream?" The woman said: "Eat first," and she sat waiting for him. During the course of his meal, Ibn Sirin said to the woman: "Tell me your dream." The woman said: "I saw the moon merging in Alcyone." (The brightest star of the constellation Taurus, arb. Thurayya. Becoming Spattered with Excreta If a person sees himself or his clothes spattered with excreta of animals which are haraam to consume or he becomes the owner of the excreta or he sees himself guarding such excreta, it means he will receive unlawful wealth. Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Mare A mare represents a wife and an honest and useful woman. The black mare symbolizes the religious woman who enjoys fame. The piebald or spotted mare is a woman famous for her beauty and wealth. The light-colored mare is a merry and active woman. The gray mare is also a religious woman.

Wool Wearing a woollen cloak with nothing under it in a dream means receiving money from a noble and a well respected person. A dog wearing sheepskin in a dream represents a lowly person who subsidizes his business through a well known and a respected person. If one sees a lion wearing a sheepskin in a dream, the lion here represents a tyrant who confiscates people's money and property. Wool in a dream also represents purity, clarity and asceticism, except if the wool is coarse or unsuitable to wear, then it means poverty or humiliation. Blood • Falling in a vat or large vessel, a jar, or a pit full of blood: Excitement.

Preacher If one sees himself delivering a sermon (Khutba) in accordance with the prescribed method and prophetic traditions in a dream, it means that he will be helped at doing his work. If he wears a white garment instead of a black one when delivering his sermon in the dream, it means that he will rise in station and that his earnings will increase. If one sees himself sitting down rather than standing up when delivering his sermon in a dream, it means that he will preside over his companions.
