Beard • A beautiful and proportionate beard, not too long, not too short: Money, prestige, and nice living.
• The beard longer than it should be or than it is in reality: Debts and worries.
• The beard lengthening till reaching the belly and sticking to it: Money and prestige but not before toiling inasmuch as the beard seemed sticking to the belly.
• The beard reaching the navel: The dreamer is disobeying God.
• The beard reaching the navel and the dreamer looking at it: The latter is a muath-then (he who calls for prayers), but one who acts as a Peeping Tom from the top of his minaret, looking through the windows all around.

Headgear If one's headgear is stripped off his head, or if it falls to the ground in a dream, it means the death of his superior, or any of the abovementioned people. If a king offer someone a headgear or a tiara in a dream, it means that he will have the power to appoint people in different administrations. If a mishap befall one's headgear or the turban of an Imam in a dream, it will reflect upon his faith and the state of his congregation. Wearing a black turban in a dream means authority, or it could mean sitting in the judges bench. Wearing a headgear which is topped with a white feather in a dream means becoming a leader. Wearing a headgear that is made from animal fur or hide in a dream means becoming unjust and blinded to one's own injustice, or it could portray the wicked personality of one's superior at work. Raiment (Knighthood; Robe) To put on a new raiment in a dream means a knighthood for a person who has lost his rank or position. It also means rising in station for an appointed person, wearing a new garment, or having constant disputes with one's wife. Jinn - Or Djinn According to my grandfather, the late Mr. Mahmoud Fahim of Egypt, a master magician and an authority on the subject, as quoted by Dr. Paul Brunton: “… jinn's are native inhabitants of the spirit world who have never possessed a human body. Some of them are just like animals, others are as shrewd as men. There are also evil jinn's … who are used by low sorcerers, especially by the African witch doctors … they are dangerous servants and will sometimes turn treacherously on the man who is using them and kill him.”36 The jinn's have their own realm, whose doctors, for instance, are called Maymoun and Abanos. They are said sometimes to perform surgery. Ata is a good friend who answers queries and might appear, when invoked, in European or Arab dress or clad as a sheikh. Slippers Wearing a pair of simple slippers in a dream means taking a trip to a distant place, or a marriage to a young virgin. If one's slippers are worn-out in a dream, it means that one may marry an unwed woman or a widow. Losing a slipper in a dream means losing half of one's assets. Finding a pair of lost slippers in a dream means occupying oneself with worldly business rather than serving one's benefits in the hereafter, or it could mean delinquency in attending one's religious duties. Wearing wooden slippers in a dream means repentance from sin, engaging in an argument, acquiring knowledge, or exposing a secret one would rather conceal from others. Walking with glass slippers in a dream means being a hypocrite and a bad companion whose friendship does not last, and whoever befriends someone wearing glass slippers in a dream will suffer from adversities and hardships because of him. Gold Any gold plated ornaments in a dream means emulating mundane people, or outwardly imitating spiritual people, or ostentatiously acting like them. Pure gold or silver in a dream means purity and sincerity of one's intentions, making a true covenant or signing a peace treaty. Gold plated or silver plated ornaments or gold leaf objects in a dream represent a short life, changing circumstances, spending long and sleepless nights, or it could mean forgetfulness. Hunger If one sees himself hungry during the winter season in a dream, it means that he will be tried with gluttony. If one's hunger lasts long in the dream, it means that he will receive benefits after a long wait. Hunger in a dream is also considered to mean money, bad company, jesting, asceticism, fasting, inflation, deprivation, poverty and perhaps sometimes it may mean piety and fear of wrongdoing, or remembering and thanking Allah Almighty. Slip (Under garment; Underpants) In a dream, a slip represents a free woman. A woman wearing an underwear slip in a dream denotes marriage. If she is wearing a flashy red slip in the dream, it means that she will be accused of wrongdoing. Silver (Woman) Silver in a dream represents hard earned money or savings. In dream interpretation, the substance of silver and that of a woman are the same. A silver coin in a dream represents a beautiful woman. Extracting silver in a dream means taking advantage of a woman. If one finds abundance of silver in his dream, it means that he will uncover a treasure. Melting silver in a dream means having an argument with one's wife that will become the talk of the town. Receiving silverware or silver cups as a gift in a dream means being entrusted with money or personal items for safe keeping. Silver Though silver is better than gold in the interpretation of dreams, bangles and bracelets are a bad omen for men, who are not supposed to wear them, and a good augury for women. A man wearing a silver anklet will experience fear, be chained, or go to jail. For men anklets are chains. Anyhow, no ornaments are good for the masculine gender in dreams, except rings, pendants, necklaces, and earrings. For women, all jewels and ornaments are, generally, good dreams in view of a verse in the Holy Quran that reads as follows: “Beautiful for mankind is love of the joys [that come] from women and offspring, and stored-up heaps of gold and silver, and horses branded [with their mark] and cattle and land. Apparel It also could mean that he is under great pressure and suffering from a painful distress, for the heat of a summer in a dream signifies distress. If a woman sees herself wearing a man's apparel in a dream, it means piety and success in her material and spiritual life. If a man sees himself wearing a woman's apparel in a dream, it means that he will be afflicted with fear, depression, subjugation, humiliation, trials, then all of it will be lifted away from him. Garment If he thinks in his dream that he is a woman, then his humiliation will be greater. Receiving used garments but in a good condition as a gift in a dream means money, though if they are in bad condition, they mean trouble. A dog wearing a woollen cloak in a dream represents a just ruler. If one sees a lion wearing a cotton or a linen cloak in a dream, it represents a ruler who confiscates people's properties and money. Eyebrows If the eyebrows grow extensively to nearly covering the eyes in the dream, it means changes in any of the above. Eyebrows in a dream also mean longevity. In a dream, eyebrows also indicate the state of one's spiritual standing. When beautiful, one's faith is beautiful, but when wild in a dream, it means that one's faith is deteriorating. Bracelet Should one have enemies, then Allah Almighty will support and strengthen him against them. Wearing a golden bracelet in a dream could mean either that he will be exploited or restrained, or it could mean that he will be handcuffed. If a ruler or someone in authority sees himself wearing a bracelet in a dream, it means that he will hold that job for sometime to come, that he will be just toward his subjects, and they will live happily and enjoy good earnings during his regency. If one sees his arms fitted with armlets in a dream, it means expansion or spreading of his authority along with fame. A bracelet also represents a son, a servant, or a close employee. Vulture • Owning a disobedient vulture without fearing it much: Will be dignified but become tyrannical and stubborn. Likewise, the dreamer will act as a tyrant in religious matters.55
• Seizing some of the vulture’s feathers or bones: Will be granted a fortune by a great king.
• Receiving a baby vulture as a gift: Will be blessed with a son who will become well noted. Conversely, the same dream during daytime means the dreamer will get so ill as to be nearing death. If he is scratched by the vulture, the disease will last quite a long time.

Quran • Stealing a Holy Quran: The dreamer will forget prayer.
• Holding a book or a Mushaf and opening it to find its pages blank: Appearances are deceitful or tricky.
• Eating a Mushaf or the pages of a Mushaf: The dreamer is taking money to transcribe the pages of the Holy Book, which is an illicit or immoral gain.
• Kissing the Mushaf: No shortcomings in discharging the dreamer’s duties.
• Writing Quranic texts in porcelain or mother-of-pearl or on a dress: The dreamer is interpreting the Quran the way he likes.
• Writing the Quran on the ground: The dreamer is an atheist.

Skin One's skin in a dream represents the element that cloaks the human being, veils his wealth and what he wills for his heirs. Skin in a dream also represents the elements of father, might, wealth, garment, farm, state of worship, faith, polytheism, or it could mean one's enemy, friend, wife, house, beloved, son, or what protects the human being from harm. A healthy skin in a dream represents a healthy life, and a diseased skin means weakness. A discolored skin in a dream means sickness. If a deceased person is seen wearing a healthy and a beautiful skin in a dream, it represents his good state or condition in the life after death. Gold • For women, bracelets and anklets refer to the husband. Jewels symbolize their children. Gold is the male child and silver the girls. Unmanufactured gold is worse than gold made into jewels, because in the latter case its ugly name, thahab (gone), is changed into bangle or something else.
• Wearing a pendant or necklace: Will be entrusted with some high function or given a country or city to rule.
• A man wearing a pendent partly made of gold: Will perform the pilgrimage to Mecca (Mecca (Makkah)). If the pendent is completely made of gold, he will become a ruler or a chief. In general, the pendent symbolizes man’s power and value. The longer and the heavier the better.
• A man wearing a golden earring: He is a good singer.
• Receiving a golden ring, a typical ring: Weakening religious faith, unless something is carved on it.

Crown If the crown is made of gold in the dream, it means that she will marry an old man whom she will shortly inherit. If an unjust ruler sees himself wearing a golden crown in a dream, it means that he will lose his eyesight, while if he sees himself wearing a golden crown inlaid with gems in the dream, it means establishing trading interests with a foreign country.
