Earthquake In a dream, an earthquake represents fear of a higher authority. An earthquake in a dream is also interpreted to indicate major changes in that particular place, or a calamity that will befall a town or a country. If one sees the mountains rumbling, shaking and crumbling, then being restored to their original state in a dream, it means that a great happening will devastate such a place. If one sees the earth shaking or caving in, and if everything sinks into the ground, hitting a segment of the community and sparing another segment of it in the dream, it means that a calamity will befall that place, and it will manifest through social disorder, injustices or a plague. If one sees the earth shaking and the firmament rent asunder in a dream, it means that major adversities will hit their properties, cattle, farms and institutions, etcetera, as a divine chastisement for people's sins. Thunder If the sound of thunder is heard during the month of August in a dream, it means blessings for the people in Syria and the people of Azerbaijan on the Caspian Sea. At that time, sea passages will be blockaded, the highways will be forsaken and a war may take place in China. If the sound of thunder is heard at the end of the month of August in a dream, it means the end of a drought in Egypt, rising prices, death, earthquakes, or major political changes. If the sound of thunder is heard during the first eight days of September in a dream, it announces a drought during the early part of the year that will be followed by heavy rains and results in a good harvest. It also means that a long and destructive war will take place. If the thunder takes place on the tenth day of September in one's dream, then it means a drought in Morocco. If one finds himself slaughtered but does not know who killed him in the dream, it means that he is an innovator, or it could mean that he will forge a testimony. Murdering one's own father or mother in a dream means disobeying them or assaulting them and becoming damned. To slaughter a woman in a dream means adultery, or eliciting sexual intercourse with her. To slaughter a fowl or the female of any bird or animal in dream means deflowering a young girl. To slaughter a son in a dream means that such a son is ruthless and unjust toward his parents. • A sick person dreaming of entering a cemetery: Will die from his ailment and end up there, especially if he had built a house in it in the dream.
• Entering a cemetery with awe, crying and reading or reciting the Holy Book or praying in the direction of Mecca (Makkah): Will mix with benefactors, be well noted and versed in religion, and will benefit from all that he sees or hears.

• Biers in the souk (marketplace): That market is full of adulterated goods and hypocrisy.
• Falling from one’s bier: Will be demoted; business and other interests will be stalled, and prestige will be lost.

Flying • Flying with birds: (1) Will flock with foreigners. (2) For an evil person: Bad omen. (3) Possible crucifixion. (4) For a fisherman: Coming ordeal.
• Flying with wings that do not resemble bird wings: Something extraordinary will happen to the dreamer, and people will marvel.
• Flying without wings: Fear and hardships, but also fulfilment of a wish and rising in life as high as the dreamer rose in the sky.
