Travels (Hotel; Inn; Millstone; World) In a dream, travels mean discovering people's substance or character. If a poor person sees himself travelling in a dream, it means that he will become rich. If one hosts travellers in a dream, it means that he may receive news from that direction. Travelling in a dream also means changing condition, state, environment, or that one may have to wash the floor of a house, or change his employer, repent for his sin, or satisfy what his heart desires. Griffin If one hunts or kills a griffin in a dream, it means that he will deceive someone. If he sells a griffin in his dream, it means that he will oppress someone. If he captures it without a trick in his dream, it means that he is a courageous young man. Hugging a griffin in a dream means marrying a beautiful woman. Musk If a thief sees himself carrying musk in a dream, it means that he will cease robbing people, for a sweet fragrance points to its carrier and exposes what he hides. Musk in a dream also means money, gold, comfort, glad tidings, good news, or innocence. The same interpretation is given to carnation, clove, nutmeg and other dark seeds, all of which mean triumph and happiness. Grinding them in a dream means receiving praises. Cutting off If one's hand and heels are cut off in a dream, it means corruption in one's religious life or forsaking the spiritual circles, or it could mean being barren or being freed from the duty to raise children. Cutting off one's nose or ear in a dream means a punishment for a crime, or it could mean poverty or missing someone's news. Cutting off one's tongue in a dream means invalidating one's argument or proof, or it could mean preventing him from asking for anything. If one sees himself dismembered in a dream, then it means that he will undertake extensive travels, or that members of his family will disperse into different locations, or it could mean severing one's blood ties or paying a penalty. Odor Smelling a bad odor in a dream means hearing bad words, or it could mean distress. Smelling odor that emanates from under the armpit in a dream means headache, nasal congestions, cold, or hearing bad news, divulging secrets, dispelling rancor and jealousy, or it could mean relaxing after an exhausting workday, contracting an eye disease, or it could mean loathsomeness. If a child smells such an odor from under his armpit in his dream, it means that he has reached his puberty, or it could mean an illness or an accident that could take away his life. Pigeon Pigeon's rumbling or roar in a dream means reproof or censure for a fault. A white pigeon in a dream means spirituality, a green pigeon represents piety, while a black pigeon denotes a mastery. A frightened pigeon in a dream means divorce or death. A landing pigeon in a dream represents the long awaited arrival of a beloved. Eating pigeon's meat in a dream means to steal money from one's own workers, to defraud them, or to cheat one's servants. Reins If the reins of one's horse are broken in a dream, it could mean the death of his driver. Reins in a dream also denote chastity, guardianship and protection. They also represent the obligatory payment of alms tax which cleanses and protects one's capital. If the reins or the harness fall from one's hand in the dream, it means corruption in one's religious life, a decline in his devotion, or that one's wife will become unlawful to him (i.e., living together after a divorce), or that she will remain in his house without a legal marriage. To see oneself bridled in a dream also means refraining from sin, or observing a voluntary religious fast. A broken bridle in a dream is good for one who service it and bad for its owner. Mare A mare in a dream also represents a rich person, a beautiful woman or a handsome looking man, a religious person, a comforting wife, a forbearing husband, or a sick person. If one loses his mare, or if it dies in the dream, it means that he will lose his source of income. Dismounting a mare in a dream may mean loss of one's business, a divorce, or loss of one's house. Hearing the squealing of a mare in a dream means increase in one's income, or it could mean one's promotion at work. Hole (Deception; Plot; Profits; Fall) Digging a hole, a water well, or an irrigation and planning to water the plants with them in a dream means attending one's needs and serving the interests of his family. Eating from the dirt one piles from digging in his dream represents a swagger, or someone who acquires money through deception. Seeing oneself inside a hole in a dream also means divorce. To see oneself outside of such a hole looking at it in a dream means having an argument with one's spouse that will end in reconciliation. Ear • Having many ears: (1) The dreamer rejects right and justice. (2) Good dream for a person who wishes to have someone who obeys him, like the wife, the children, and the bondsmen. (3) Bad dream for the underdog, meaning that he will perpetually listen and obey. (4) Will be convicted and hear the sentence. (5) Will triumph over opponents, if any.
• A rich person seeing plenty of beautifully assorted ears: Will hear good news, which will make him feel merry. The reverse is also true.

Close (Shut) If a single man sees himself shutting a door in a dream, it means that he will marry a righteous woman. If a married man sees himself shutting a door in a dream, it means that he may divorce his wife. Locking a door in a dream also means getting married, though unlocking a padlock has negative connotations. If one sees his door locked in a dream, it means that he will choose to pursue his worldly satisfaction instead of fulfilling his religious obligations. If one tries to lock the door of his house and fails to do so in his dream, it means that he will abandon a hard decision he took, or refrain from pursuing the impossible in his case. Child birth • A woman giving birth to a child from her mouth: Will die and her spirit will come out from her mouth.
• A man dreaming that he has given birth to a baby boy: (1) Will get ill. (2) Will be delivered from a certain worry. (3) Will get rid of a mean woman.
• A man dreaming that he has given birth to a baby girl: (1) Relief from all hardships. (2) Someone from the dreamer’s lineage will prevail over his folk. (3) Will hear some great news.
• A woman delivering a cat from her vagina: She will give birth to a thief.

Lamp (Housekeeper; Lamp 1; Steward; Wick) In a dream, a lamp represents a steward, a housekeeper or a butler. If the oil burns up in one's dream, it means the death of any of the above. If a spark falls on a piece of cotton fabric and burns it in the dream, it means that he or she will face a mishap. If the lamp is put off in the dream, it means that a sick person in that family will soon die from his illness, or that the family will receive news of the death of a relative. Ring • Borrowing a ring: The dreamer will own something that will not last.
• Taking a ring from a king: A house the dreamer enters, dwells in, or owns. The stone is the gate or door of that house. A girl or a woman whom the dreamer marries and whose ring-shaped vagina he will deflower by introducing “the finger of his belly” (penis) in it. The stone represents her face.
• Wearing the king’s ring: (1) The dreamer will be given a province. (2) The dreamer will succeed his father. (3) In case the dreamer has no father or if his father is dead, the reverse of what he wishes will happen or he will be given a useless province.

Greetings If one sees himself shaking hands with someone, then embracing him in a dream, it means that he will receive glad tidings, good news, hear good words to which his reply will be the same, or it could mean a knowledge he will teach to others. If one sees himself shaking hands and embracing his enemy in a dream, it means that their disagreement will cease. If one sees the angels greeting him in a dream, it means that his insight will grow. Sword • Being girded with two or three swords that break loose or fall: Will divorce one’s wife irrevocably by swearing three times.
• Drawing a sword: The dreamer is asking people to testify in his favour, but they refuse.
• Drawing one’s sword to find it oxidized: Wife will give birth to an ugly or obscene boy.
• A man drawing his sword on the dreamer: That man has prepared a diatribe. (1) If he hits the dreamer and no blood comes out: What the assailant says will be true. (2) If he hits the dreamer without injuring him: The dreamer will triumph over the attacker. (4) If he strikes without cutting anything, but blood oozes out: The attacker will calumniate the dreamer and come out with sheer fabrications about him.

Shaving If one is suffering from depression and he sees his head shaved in a dream, it means an end to his trouble, or payment of his debts. It also means abasement, disgrace, deception, or death. If a soldier sees his head shaved in a dream, it means that he will lose his strength and esteem. If one sees himself chipping his hair in bits in a dream, it means that he will lose people's respect. Shaving one's head in a dream for someone who does not usually shave it also may mean an affliction or an illness. Night The night in a dream also means marital relations, while the day means separation between them. In a dream, the darkness of night also represents heedlessness and particularly if one witnesses thunder and lightning in his dream. Seeing a complete darkness inside one's house in a dream means taking a long journey. The night and the day in a dream represent two adverse rulers, or two competitors or adversaries. The night in a dream also represents an atheist, while the day in a dream represents a believer. The night in a dream also signifies comfort and rest, while the day means toiling and hardships. Sword If the sword is heavy in the dream, it means that he will say words which are even heavy on him to bear. Bridle (Harness; Headgear; Reins of power; Restraint; Rope) In a dream, a bridle represents a wife, a battlefield, or a sickness. A bridle in a dream also means obedience, servitude or submission and wealth in the hands of the one who sees himself holding it. If a traveller sees a bridle in a dream, it means slow coming news from home. If a sick person sees the bridle of a horse in his dream, it means shattering of his hopes.
