Duck If a duck speaks to someone in a dream, it means that he will be raised in honor by a woman. It also represents comfort and satisfaction in one's life which comes from eating its flesh and the parable of its dependence on water is like that of sailors and fishermen and because of its gentleness. However, if someone hears the quacking of a duck inside his house in a dream, it means difficulties in that place, or an announcement of someone's death. Migraine headache In a dream, headache represents sins. If one suffers from a headache in a dream, he should repent for his sins, refrain from what he is doing, distribute money in charity, observe voluntary religious fast, seek a spiritual retreat, or strive to do good deeds. Headache in a dream means suffering from unhappiness or misery in one's life. Headache also represents one's employer or supervisor. Buffalo The buffalo should be interpreted as a bull that does not work. Nevertheless, it symbolizes a courageous man who fears no one, who endures beyond his capacity, and who likes to do good. The she-buffalo should be interpreted as a cow, even insofar as her milk, meat, and skin are concerned. If a woman dreams that she has a horn like a buffalo: (1) She will rule. Mill (Grinder; Press) In a dream, a mill represents a school, a courthouse, a balance, justice, righteousness, benefits, blessings, money, food, charity, or marriage. The millstone in a dream represents a wife and a husband. The flour that issues from between the two grinding stones represents sperms or children. A mill in a dream also means distress and adversities, uptightness, headache, a rivulet, or a windmill. If one sees a mill grinding human beings in a dream, it means loss of lives and adversities. Jewel Jewels, including pearls and all the rest, symbolize sensuality and sexual passion for women and boys.

Nasal mucus If a sable comes out of one's nose in a dream, it means that he will beget a son who will grow to become a thief. If a pigeon comes out of his nose in the dream, it means that he will beget a girl that will grow to be insane. Blowing one's nose and using one's own shirt in a dream means committing adultery with a sacrosanct member of his own family or a blood relation. If one sees his nose gloppy with mucus in a dream, it means that his fecundity and sexual appetite will bring him many children. Rabbit In a dream, a rabbit represents a coward man, a wife, an evil woman, or someone who talks continuously about unimportant matters. Arabic months As for the eleventh lunar month, known in Arabic as Zul-Qidah, if one's dream suggests a trip, then the person should refrain from taking that trip or perhaps he should delay it for the better. Fasting If one sees masses of people fasting in a dream, it could mean a famine. If one eats during the hours of observing the fast in a dream, it means that he will commit a sin, or it could mean indebtedness or falling sick. Fasting the month of Ramadan in a dream also means safety, protection from evil or repentance from sins. Fasting the extra six days following the festival day which concludes the holy month of Ramadan in a dream means patching one's prayers or paying charity or regretting one's faults. Pot If the pot one is stirring in his dream does not contain any meat or food, it means that he will ask a poor person to do something beyond his means, and consequently he will not benefit from his doing. A cooking pot in a dream also represents one's relentlessness toward his enemy. A pot in a dream also denotes one's contentment and his acceptance of his destiny and of the divine providence. Duck The duck symbolizes a woman or a slave or servant girl. It also refers to a dangerous but God-fearing man, a virtuous one, or a hermit.
• Eating duck meat: Will receive money from slave women or domestic helpers or from a maiden or will conquer the heart of a rich woman who will prove to be a blessing.

A Rope Coming From The Sky Abu Hurairah narrated that a man came to the Prophet Muhammad and said: "I had a dream of a cloud with shade dripping butter and honey. I saw the people scooping it up with their hands, some taking much and some taking little. I saw a rope extending from the sky to the earth. Then I saw you Prophet Muhammad! You took hold of it and went up, then a man took hold of it after you do so, then a man took hold of it after him to do so. Then a man took hold of it and it was severed, and then connected for him, and he did so (i.e. , went up)." Abu Bakr said: "May my father and mother be ransomed for you O Messenger of Allah! Allow me to interpret it." He said: "Interpret it." so he said: "As for the cloud with its shade, it is Islam. As for what the butter and honey that dropped from it, this is the Quran and its delicateness and sweetness. It means some of them gathered much of the Quran and some of them a little. As for the rope extending from the sky to the earth, it is the truth which you are upon, you clug to it and Allah exalted you. Then another man will take hold of it after you and ascend on it, then after him, another man will take hold of it and ascend on it. Then another [man] will take hold of it but it will break, then be connected so he will ascend on it. Inform me O Messenger of Allah! Am I correct or am I mistaken?" The Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) said: "You are correct in some of it and mistaken in some of it." He (i.e., Abu Bakr) said: "I swear to you by my father and my mother O Prophet Muhammad! Hell • An angel having grabbed the dreamer and thrown him in the Fire: Must make some charity.
• Seeing Hell from a near distance: (1) A warning to abstain from and repent for a sin the dreamer is committing. (2) The dreamer will fall into trouble from which he will not escape in view of a verse in the Holy Quran: “And the guilty behold the Fire and know that they are about to fall therein, and they find no way of escape thence.” (“Al-Kahf [The Cave], verse 53.) (3) Will sustain catastrophic losses in view of the Quranic verse: “And who say: Our Lord! Avert from us the doom of Hell; lo! the doom thereof is a fine.” (“Al-Furqan” [The Criterion], verse 65.) Eyelashes • Having no eyelashes: The dreamer is an outlaw in terms of religion.
• Depilating one’s eyelashes: The dreamer is taking religious advice from his enemy.

Ewe (Female sheep) In a dream, a ewe represents a woman, a wife or prosperity. Running after a ewe and finding oneself unable to keep-up or to catch it in a dream means chasing a woman and failing to seduce her. Milking a ewe in a dream means good profits for that year. Moustache Shaving, clipping or adjusting one's moustache in a dream means lessening one's burdens. A moustache in a dream also means money. A bad cut in one's moustache in a dream means a mishap or losing money. Having an unusually long moustache in a dream means going against the currents, or it could mean an illness that will deprive one from eating solid food, or it could mean religious innovation. A long and an ugly looking moustache in a dream means difficulties, sorrows, distress, becoming an alcoholic, refusing to surrender to others what belongs to them, or refusing to pay charity, or pretending to ignore the necessity to pay the obligatory alms tax. Ritual bath If one sees a deceased person washing himself before his burial in a dream, it means relief for one's dependents and increase of their wealth after him. Giving a ritual ablution to a deceased person in a dream also means that someone will repent for his sins at the hand of the undertaker. If a deceased person asks someone to wash his clothes for him in a dream, it means that he needs someone to pray for him, or to intercede on his behalf before his Lord, or to pay charity for the benefit of his soul, or to pay his debts, or to fulfill his will, or to do him justice. Gourd The gourd, also called vegetable marrow, pumpkin, squash, and winter squash, alludes to the recovery of a sick person. Its vine is a knowledgeable man or a blessed and sociable doctor who benefits people. It could also refer to a poor man. A gourd is favoured by most interpreters, like meat and eggs.

Idol Worship • Seeing an idol: Will embark on a long journey.
• Seeing an idol without any worshiping taking place: Will earn a fortune.
