Instructions After Seeing A Bad Dream Narrated Abu Qatada: The Prophet said, "A good dream is from Allah, and a bad dream is from Satan. So whoever has seen (in a dream) something he dislike, then he should spit without saliva, thrice on his left and seek refuge with Allah from Satan, for it will not harm him, and Satan cannot appear in my shape." Counting The number one in a dream also represents the truth or Allah Almighty Who has no partner, associate or equal. The number two means help against one's enemy. The number three signifies fulfillment of a promise. The number four means a pilgrimage to Mecca. The number five means doubt and weakness of one's faith. Perhaps the number six also means victory against one's enemy or establishing a proof of guilt against one's adversaries. Counting up to number seven or eight in a dream has negative connotations. Counting up to number ten in a dream could mean atonement for one's sins. If one sees himself in a dream counting money coins that has the name of Allah inscribed on it in a dream, it means that he celebrates Allah's praises and glorifies His Name. If one sees past companions alive in a dream, it means prosperity, justice and economic growth for the inhabitants, coming from a Allah-fearing leadership. If one sees himself resurrecting one of the companions, their followers or successors in a dream, it means that he will revive his practices and traditions. If one sees himself turned into one of the known righteous companion or followers of Allah's Prophet, Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam in a dream, it means trials in one's life to equal the exalted station of such blessed beings, though the end is praiseworthy. Being Beheaded And Following The Head Jabir reported Allah's Messenger (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) as saying: There came to him (the Holy Prophet) a desert Arab and said: I saw in a dream that I had been beheaded and I had been following it (the severed head). Bismalah (arb.) Calling the Name of Allah Almighty in a dream means blessed tidings. Bismalah in a dream also represents attainment, knowledge, guidance and wealth. Reciting the formula; Bismillahi Rahmani Raheem (In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate) in a dream also means living to see one's children and grand children. It also means recovering a lost article. Bismalah in a dream also means placing the intention to get married, tidings of a good progeny, and receiving guidance after heedlessness. If one writes down such a call; In the Name of Allah with a beautiful handwriting in his dream, it means that he will receive wealth and recognition in his field of knowledge. Shroud Or Mortuary Winding Sheet (Also see Dress.) It symbolizes a penchant for adultery. The smaller the shroud, the closer the dreamer is to repentance, and vice versa. But interpreters differ on this point—some of them feel that the larger the shroud, the better the dream is.
• Seeing a living person wearing a shroud: The dreamer has a leaning toward adultery. If the shroud has not been worn, he is inciting others to commit adultery, but nobody responds to his calls.

Noah Seeing Allah's prophet Noah (Alayhi-Salam) in a dream also signifies the destruction of the unbelievers and the victory of the believers. If one sees him in a ship in a dream, it means that such a ship will escape from destruction, or that all its people will be saved from drowning. Seeing Allah's prophet Noah (Alayhi-Salam) in a dream also means facing a strong army of unbelievers, their blatant attitudes, their verbal and physical abuse of the believers, and their unrestrained persecution of the physically weak among them. Prostration Prostrating during a war in a dream means humiliation before one's enemy, a fight, business losses, or it could mean standing helpless before closed doors. Prostrating oneself before Allah Almighty on top of a mountain in a dream means vanquishing a strong enemy, while prostrating on top of a hill means submission to a strong man. Prostration in a dream also means faith in Allah Almighty, joining the company of Allah's messenger Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam, in paradise, longevity and improving one's spiritual life. A Dream Interpreted As The Battle Of Uhud Narrated Abu Musa: The Prophet (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) said, "I saw in a dream that I was migrating from Mecca to a land where there were date palm trees. I thought that it might be the land of Al-Yamama or Hajar, but behold, it turned out to be Yathrib (i.e. Medina). And I saw cows (being slaughtered) there, but the reward given by Allah is better (than worldly benefits). Behold, those cows proved to symbolize the believers (who were killed) on the Day (of the battle) of Uhud, and the good (which I saw in the dream) was the good and the reward and the truth which Allah bestowed upon us after the Badr battle. Satan If Satan frightens him in a dream, it means that the latter is a sincere deputy and a protege of Allah Almighty, and that Allah will safeguard him from any fear of the accursed Satan or his army. If one sees a meteor or a flame shooting at Satan in the skies in a dream, it means that there is an enemy of Allah Almighty in that locality. If that person is a ruler, then his secrets will be exposed, and if he is a judge, it means that a just punishment will befall him for his injustice. If one sees Satan happy in a dream, it means that he engages in sensuality, passion and loathsome actions. Loan (Borrowing; Charity; Lending money) Loaning someone something in a dream represents a charity to be paid to the borrower, or that in fact the lender will need something from the borrower. A loan in a dream also represents repentance of a sinner, or guidance for a heedless person. Loaning someone money in a dream also means generosity and giving due preference to others needs. Prophet Otherwise, it means that he will be inflicted with a great calamity because of a falsehood he fosters, or innovations he practices. If one becomes a messenger in a dream or a caller to Allah Almighty, and if someone hearkens to him and accepts his message in the dream, it means that he will rise in rank. Otherwise, it means that he will become a broker, a liar, a defrauder, a swagger, depending on his level of knowledge, or it could mean that he will be struck with a major calamity in his life. Such a calamity will be of the same caliber, degree and nature that a Prophet Muhammad may have suffered from his own people. Seeing one of Allah's prophets in a dream also means living the experience of time, space and condition in which he saw him in the dream. • Seeking someone’s help in buying mortuary balm: Will seek that person’s help in a blessed endeavour.
• Seeking someone’s help to buy mortuary balm for a cadaver: The seeker is mediating in favour of a person who lost religious faith or asking to be given something to alleviate his own poverty or ordeal of any type.
