Jew • Being a Jew means the dreamer will fail to perform the Muslim rites and, therefore, be punished by God while still alive and experience humiliation because, says Ibn Siren, those Jews who had committed an aggression by fishing on a Saturday (Sabbath day), thus transgressing the injunctions of God, were turned into apes. The story is narrated in chapter VII of the Holy Quran, titled “Al-Aaraf’ (The Heights), verses 163–67.34

Arrow The arrow symbolizes a messenger; correspondence; an indication; and strength and triumph over enemies. For a woman, it refers to her husband. The weaving arrow represents an emissary, a circumcised boy, long life, or clothes.
• A woman seeing a reversed arrow in a quiver: A change of heart against her on the part of her husband.
• Holding an arrow: Prestige, dignity, influence, and prosperity.
• An arrow breaking after being launched from the bow: The dreamer will not be able to deliver a message.

Blind Blindness symbolizes religious aberration. It means that the dreamer has forgotten the Holy Quran. It could also be an indication that the dreamer himself is being forgotten.
• A materialistic person dreaming of being blind: (1) Will get rich. (2) Will obtain money through gangsters.
• Dreaming that someone has made you blind: That person is leading you astray and making you change your mind.
• An atheist dreaming of being blind: Losses, trouble, and worries.

Beard If a farmer finds the hair of his beard black in a dream, it means that he should start harvesting his crop. A white beard could denote illness or frailty. If one's beard in wakefulness is gray and he sees its color black in a dream, it means strength, determination, firmness, certainty, having great energy and exuberance. If one's beard in his dream seems longer than the usual, it means being a spendthrift, wasting money, engaging in gambling and sporting games, or suffering from depression, or being troubled by circumstances. Madness Madness alludes to many things, foremost among which is love passion. It also refers to beating and, conversely, to good deeds.
• Being insane: (1) The dreamer will obtain as much money as he appeared mad, but will spend beyond his means with the help of an evil companion. (2) The dreamer will inherit clothes. (3) The dreamer will wield tremendous power or become a ruler, if eligible. (4) The dreamer will go to Paradise.
• A little boy going mad: He will bring his father a fortune and make him rich.

Face If a scholar sees himself having several faces in a dream, it means that he is utilizing his knowledge in various applications, or giving a subject several possible interpretations. A frowning face, a crying face, a scarred face, or the darkness of one's face in a dream also mean loss of job, fear, or they could represent a liar. If the skin of one's face is cracking in a dream, it denotes lack of modesty or absence of shame. Glass bottle The broken chips of a glass bottle in a dream represent money. A urine testing tube in a dream represents a prostitute. Thus, if one sees himself urinating inside such a tube in his dream, he should beware not to commit adultery. A bottle of wine in a dream represents a housekeeper who is hesitant about carrying money on her. A bottle of wine in a dream represents a pregnant woman who could suffer from hemorrhaging though she will deliver her child safely. Glass bottles of different colors and sizes in a dream represent people of different nationalities. A glass bottle in a dream also could mean exposing people's secret life or slandering disloyal people. If a glass bottle falls and breaks inside one's house in a dream, it means avoiding corruption or escaping from temptation that could take place inside such a house. Swine The swine is a huge man, rich, and irreligious, with dubious sources of income, a dirty person with long hands, and a mean and stinking atheist.50 Its flesh or meat, its grease, its hair, its stomach, and its skin are cheap and dirty money. Being a swine herd: Will govern low people of dirty origin.
• Owning, finding, or transporting swine: Will obtain dirty money.

Buckthorn tree (Genus Zizyphus; Jujube tree; Lotus tree; Shrubs) In a dream, this warm climate buckthorn family tree that grows date like fruit represents a noble and a generous woman, or a noble and a generous man. The greener is its color, the greater is such a person. Seeing the buckthorn tree in a dream means rising in station, developing piety and gaining knowledge. Eating its fruit in a dream means that one may fall victim to a sickness. Climbing a buckthorn tree in a dream means depression and adversities. Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Harvest Throwing the harvest back into the fields means that one's deeds are worthless. To see oneself harvesting outside the season in a dream means devastation, war, or death. Harvesting a green crop in the dream connotes the death of a young person. If the color of the harvest is white in the dream, it means death of an elderly person. Knee The dreamer’s knee alludes to the person’s toil and endeavours to earn his living. The strength of its skin is the strength of his position. The two knees are an indication of the condition and good or bad functioning of the body. Interpretations are a bit contradictory.
• A skinned knee: More toil and fatigue.
• A thick-skinned knee or a swelling in that area: Money earned the hard way.
• A sick person having pain or any ailment in the knee: Will die.

Banana The banana tree symbolizes a rich, pious, and polite person. It is one of the noblest trees. Seeing bananas in a dream is a particularly good omen, because exception is made for that fruit by the ancient Arabs, regardless of its yellow color, which in other cases always symbolizes disease. It is a good dream even if the bananas are not ripe or taste sour.
• Eating bananas: (1) For a worldly person: Benefits and desires will be fulfilled. (2) For a religious individual: Stronger faith.

Beef It symbolises wealth accumulated during those prosperous years mentioned above. The same is the interpretation if the skin, urine, droppings or any other filth of the stomach is seen. But whether such wealth is lawful or unlawful will depend on the odour of the urine, droppings or filth. The same interpretation will be given if, instead of cows, the urine, droppings etc. of other animals are seen. If the odour is overpowering it represents wealth that is totally unlawful. Fur Sable's fur in a dream also means dominion, unallahliness and wickedness. It is also said that squirrel's fur in a dream signifies pride, ostentation, a high rank or beauty, though without any religious or moral concerns. Wearing a fur coat inside-out in a dream means showing one's wealth and being excessively ostentatious. Mending or repairing a piece of fur in a dream means suffering from an unexpected illness. Fox fur in a dream represents an insidious, crafty and a deceitful person. Sheep's skin in a dream represents a noble, strong and an unassailable person. Tree Ancient Arab dream interpreters said that whereas the tree referred to the man’s deeds, religion, or ego, its leaves symbolizes his character, its beauty his nice shape and clothing, its branches his brothers, relatives, folk, and beliefs, its heart his hidden essence and his secrets, its bark his appearance, skin, and all that he uses to adorn himself with, and its semen his faith, piety, assets, and life. The tree also represents the female kind, for it is irrigated; it bears (fruits) and delivers. Window A window in a dream also means relief from difficulties, overcoming distress, renewing festivities and celebrating anniversaries. Depending on their direction in the dream, windows also mean news, women, or children. Seeing the glass of one's window tainted or colored means planting seedlings, inflorescence, conceiving children, continuing one's education, buying new clothes, or crowning someone. Abdullah bin Salam Holding Onto Islam Till Death Narrated 'Abdullah bin Salam: (In a dream) I saw myself in a garden, and there was a pillar in the middle of the garden, and there was a handhold at the top of the pillar. I was asked to climb it. I said, "I cannot." Then a servant came and lifted up my clothes and I climbed (the pillar), and then got hold of the handhold, and I woke up while still holding it. I narrated that to the Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) who said, "The garden symbolizes the garden of Islam, and the handhold is the firm Islamic handhold which indicates that you will be adhering firmly to Islam until you die." Dyer In a dream, a leather finisher or a fabric dyer represents a false person, though he also could do good. A dyer in a dream also represents someone of good financial standing or one who is in position to help others, or he could be a man of knowledge, or a person in authority. Seeing a dyer dying a white garment into a green color in a dream means repentance from sins. If he changes the dye of a white garment into black, it means apostasy. If one sees a dyer in his house receiving or taking garments to dye in a dream, he represents an adulterer and means that someone in that house may die in that year. Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Body (Dwellings; House; State) In a dream, the human body represents his state, and its strength represents his faith in Allah Almighty. If one sees himself wearing the skin of a snake in a dream, it means that he will avow his enmity toward others. If one sees himself as a ram in a dream, it means that he will beget a son from whose success he will earn his livelihood. If one sees his body turn into iron or clay in a dream, it means his death. Adam • Seeing Adam as if talking to the dreamer: Will acquire knowledge
• Seeing Adam in a different color and shape than usually conceived of by the dreamer: Will move from one place to another, then return to the first place.
• Becoming Adam or acquiring one of his qualities or characteristics: (1) The dreamer will succeed the ruler, if eligible for such a privilege. (2) People will benefit from the dreamer’s knowledge if he is a learned man, or he himself will obtain unequalled knowledge.
• Seeing Adam in good shape: Magnificent welfare.
• Seeing Adam in a deteriorating condition: The dreamer’s master will be impoverished or his power will wane or the dreamer’s fortune will decrease and his craft or profession will no longer be in demand.
