Masjid A forsaken Masjid or mosque in a dream means intentionally ignoring the value of Gnostics and religious scholars, or denying the necessity to command what is good and to eschew what is evil. A forsaken Masjid in a dream also denotes the presence of ascetics who have renounced the world and its people and care less about their material possessions. A known mosque in a dream represents the city where it is erected. Visiting holy sites Visiting the grave of Prophet Muhammad, Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam, in a dream means obedience to one's parents, being true to them, seeking their love, blessings and pleasure with sincerity and trueness with one's words and actions. Visiting holy sites in a dream also means seeking knowledge and wisdom, having love for charitable people, associating with good people, seeking to learn one's religion at the hand of a pious teacher, to receive blessings and benefits in this life and in the next. Adultery Adultery symbolizes betrayal and theft.
• An adulteress flirting with the dreamer: Will obtain dirty money.
• A concupiscent person having sex with an adulteress: Will make sinful gains or will be involved in evil and intrigue.
• A virtuous and righteous person making love to an adulteress: Will add to his knowledge and blessings or will perform the pilgrimage to Mecca (Makkah). The contradiction between the above two cases lies in that sex, in general, symbolizes the fulfilment of wishes, be they religious or worldly, because sex is nothing else but pleasure, satisfaction, delight, or ecstasy. And the woman, in dreams, symbolizes the world or the dreamer’s life and livelihood. Archangel Gabriel (Upon him be peace.) Seeing him in a dream and feeling happy for his meeting brings glad tidings. If the archangel Gabriel in one's dream speaks to him, advises him, or admonishes him in the dream, it means receiving a great honor, strength, victory in one's life and glad tidings. If the person is oppressed, it means that he will triumph at the end. If he is sick, it means that he will recover from his illness. If he is in a state of depression or fear, it means that he will overcome it and he shall sail into success. If he had not yet performed his pilgrimage to Mecca, it means that he will fulfill it. Call For Prayer (Arabic: Athan) • Calling for prayer from a minaret: The dreamer is advocating right and justice and would, hopefully, go to Mecca (Makkah).
• Calling for prayer from a well: The dreamer is prompting people to embark on a long trip.
• A nonprofessional muaththen (the one who launches the prayer call) dreaming that he is doing so: Will have a post as high as his voice was loud and pleasant, in case he is eligible.
• Calling for prayer from a hilltop: (1) Will be entrusted with a glorious responsibility by a foreigner, if eligible. (2) Will make a successful business deal or learn a valuable craft.
• Extending or shortening the prayer call or altering its rituals: Will commit an injustice.

Black Stone (The corner stone of the Kabah; Allah's House in Mecca) Seeing or holding the Black Stone of the Kabah in one's dream means paying allegiance to the ruler, or it could mean repentance from sin at the hand of a pious Imam, or it could mean kissing one's son, wife or bosom friend. It also means serving people in the government. If one sees himself touching the Black Stone in his dream, it means that he will follow and learn at the hand of one of the Imams of the Arabian peninsula. Seeing the sacred Black Stone in a dream is perhaps an indication of going to perform one's pilgrimage. Kabah The holy Kabah in a dream also represents one's prayers, for it is the focal point of all praying Muslims. The holy Kabah in a dream also represents Allah's House, a mosque, a community center of all Muslims, and it represents a teacher, a guide, Islam, the holy Quran, the prophetic traditions, one's son, a religious scholar, a sheikh, a master, a husband, one's mother, and the heavenly paradise. The holy Kabah is Allah's House, and thereat people will be gathered and led into paradise. Adam • Seeing Adam: (1) The dreamer has committed a sin and should repent. (2) A reference to one’s father or ruler or to knowledge. (3) Will become a ruler or governor if eligible for such an honour. (4) Will be deceived and captured by one’s enemies, then released after some time. (5) A reference to the interpreter of dreams, because Adam was the first ever to have dreamed (of Eve) and understood what dreams expressed. (6) A harbinger of the pilgrimage to Mecca (Makkah). (7) A coming together of the beloved ones. (8) Will have plenty of children, but more boys than girls. (9) Forgetfulness and absentmindedness. (10) Trickery and ruses. (11) The dreamer is mixing with snake charmers, poison makers, spiritualists and mediums, who are the demons spokesmen. (12) A reference to rough garments, weeping, or a malaise due to unhealthy food. (13) A long journey, perhaps to where Adam first descended on Earth. Kiss • Kissing: (1) Wishes will be fulfilled and matters settled to the dreamer’s satisfaction. (2) Will triumph over enemies.
• Kissing God Almighty: Will kiss the Holy Book or God’s Name.
• Kissing God’s right hand: Will perform the pilgrimage in Mecca (Makkah) and kiss the Black Stone there.
• God kissing the dreamer: His deeds are blessed.
• Kissing a powerful or an authoritative person: Will replace that person.
• Kissing a judge, a king (ruler or boss), or an imam (spiritual leader): That judge, king, or imam will accept the dreamer’s arguments.
• Being kissed by a judge, a chief, or an imam: Will obtain some benefit or recommendation from the latter.
• A kiss from a lady: (1) People’s sympathy and enthusiasm. (2) Greetings from a loved one.

Garment If one sees himself wearing a silken raiment and portraying a religious jurist in a dream, it means that he is a seeker of worldly titles who may invent something new. Announcing lost and found garments in a dream means attending a pilgrimage to Mecca or a journey to an Arab country. A woman wearing a thin garment in a dream represents her integrity, while if she is wearing a thick garment, it represents her labor and hardships. If one sees himself putting on a new garment after taking a ritual bath in a dream, it means prosperity or repayment of his debts. If one's new garment is torn and cannot be repaired in the dream, it means inability to bear children. Mule • A weak mule that has no apparent owner: A wicked man you should reckon with.
• A male mule that conceives and delivers: Wishes will come true. MUSA (MOSES).
• Seeing Musa or Harun (Aaron): A tyrant will perish at the dreamer’s hands.
• Seeing Musa or Harun before going to war: Will return triumphant.
• Seeing Musa: (1) Will never be defeated or subdued. (2) Strength of the rightful and defeat of the wicked. (3) Escape from the evil of a tyrant or a corrupt ruler. (4) The dreamer is worried and helpless vis-a-vis his family members, but will overcome them, defeat his enemy, and crush the latter’s soldiers. (5) Will face many hard tests during childhood, some from one’s parents and relatives, be nurtured by strangers, mix with kings and tyrants, see a promise fulfilled, and have marital relations with blessed people and be acquainted, through them, with wonders, because Musa was the friend of Al-Khidr (a mysterious sage sent by God who, according to various descriptions, was the oldest man who ever lived before Moses, buried Adam; whose identity is highly controversial, and who could be Melchizedek or St. George). He made a hole in a ship to which Musa and himself were given a generous ride, slew a lad without apparent reason, and set up straight a wall for people who had refused him and Musa food and hospitality. Crow • Seeing a crow at the king’s gate: Will commit a crime and will feel sorry or will kill one’s brother, then repent in view of a verse in the Holy Quran about Cain and Abel: “Then Allah sent a crow scratching up the ground, to show him how to hide his brother’s naked corpse. He said: Woe unto me! Am I not able to be as this raven and so hide my brother’s naked corpse? And he became repentant.” (“Al-Maidah” [The Table Spread], verse 31.)
• Being scratched by crows: (1) Will freeze to death. (2) Will be slandered by unscrupulous persons and suffer tremendously.
• A crow standing on the Kabah, the Muslims holiest shrine in Mecca (Makkah): A debauchee will marry an honest woman.

Ritual bath Taking a ritual ablution in a dream also could mean the release of a prisoner, payment of one's debts, dispelling one's distress, or it could mean richness, prosperity, attending the sacred pilgrimage in Mecca, or having a successful business. If one does not put a new garment after taking his ritual ablution in the dream, it means that he will be able to lighten his burdens, or recover his good health. Walking into a pond, or descending a well, or stepping into a bathtub to take a bath in a dream means marriage. Washing oneself with soap during such an ablution means dispensing of one's debts, or dispelling one's stress. Washing one's garment after taking a Ghusul in a dream means correcting one's conduct, pursuing the correct religious life, paying one's debts, or washing away one's filth. Entering Paradise If one sees himself entering the heavenly paradise in a dream, then his dream represents glad tidings that Allah willing, he shall enter it. If a pilgrim sees himself entering paradise in a dream, it means that his pilgrimage is accepted or that he will reach Allah's House in Mecca. If he lacks faith in Allah Almighty, it means that he will become a believer. If a believer who is bed stricken sees himself entering paradise in a dream, it means that he will die of his illness. If a non-believer who is bed-stricken sees himself entering paradise in a dream, it means that he will recover from his illness. If he is unwed, it means that he will get married. Ritual bath To take a ritual ablution after washing a deceased person in a dream means abandoning one's association with heedless people. If the person who performs such an ablution is mentally deranged, it means that he will wake-up cured from his condition. Taking a ritual ablution prior to joining the sacred pilgrimage in a dream means happiness, success, victory over one's enemy, paying one's debts, or reuniting with one's beloveds. Taking a ritual ablution before circumambulating the sacred House in Mecca in a dream means working for one's livelihood, serving rich people, or caring for one's wife and parents. Incident - Abraham and the Forty Camels Sheikh Muhammad bin Isa al-Rikhawi of Aleppo, Syria, once saw in a dream that God's prophet Abraham, Alayhi-Salam, came and gave him forty camels. Shaikh Muhammad went to Shaikh Ahmad Shahabu Deen Al-Maghribi and told him his dream. Sheikh Shahabu Deen replied: 'You will live forty years from this day." On the thirty-ninth year, Sheikh Muhammad visited Sheikh Shahabu Deen who encouraged him to perform his pilgrimage that year. Sheikh Muhammad died three days after his return from Mecca. Sheikh Shahabu Deen led the funeral prayer and buried him beside his father. Shortly after that, Sheikh Ahmad Shahabu Deen died and was buried in their vicinity. Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Counting (Add; Calculate; Enumerate; Number) Counting apples in a dream means counting money. Counting up to the number one hundred, five thousand or twenty thousand in a dream signifies victory against one's enemy. Counting up to the number seven or eight means distress or pressures. Counting up to the number nine in a dream means adversities and joining the company of corrupt and evil people. Counting up to the number ten in a dream means completing a project, or it could mean attending the pilgrimage in Mecca. Counting up to the number forty in a dream means anticipating the fulfillment of a promise. Counting up to the number thirty in a dream means promising someone the impossible or telling a lie. The number one in a dream signifies uniqueness, superiority, having the leading edge in knowledge, money, prosperity, marriage, child, or it could mean languor, solitude or liking to be alone or cessation of activities. Kabah - Perhaps From Kubos, In Greek, Meaning “cube” The holiest shrine for Muslims. A small, rectangular building made of gray stones in the court of the Grand Mosque at Mecca (Makkah) that contains remnants of the statues or idols that were worshiped in the pre-Islamic era, it is one of the goals of Islamic pilgrimage and the point toward which Muslims turn in praying. It is said to have been built by the Prophet Abraham, to whom the Archangel Gabriel gave the mysterious black stone placed in one of its corners at one and a half meters from the ground. Lucky pilgrims touch and/or kiss that stone. The Kabah symbolizes: (1) The Holy Quran, the imam, the mosque, Islam, the Tradition of the Muslims Holy Prophet, the father, et cetera. (2) A head of state. (3) A prime minister or a minister. (4) A chief.
• Seeing the Kabah: (1) Will get married. (2) Will visit or enter it. (3) Will do something good. (4) Will refrain from some evil deed. Dream Interpreter: Various Islamic Scholars
Mountain • Launching the athan, or call for prayers, from the mountaintop while facing the Qiblah (the direction of Mecca (Makkah)) or throwing arrows from there: The dreamer will become famous as far as his voice or arrows reached, and his orders will be carried out in that range.
• Standing afraid on a mountain: Will be secure. For a person travelling by sea such a dream means that the ship will have to return or moor at the nearest port because of some technical trouble. But the dreamer will be safe. However, according to Ibn Siren, fleeing from a ship to seek refuge on a mountain means that the dreamer will perish, in view of the story of Noah’s son as related in the Quranic verses: “And it sailed with them amid waves like mountains, and Noah cried onto his son—and he was standing aloof—O my son! Come ride with us, and be not with the disbelievers. He said: I shall betake me to some mountain that will save me from the water. (Noah) said: This day there is none that saveth from the commandment of Allah save him on whom He hath had mercy. Call For Prayer (Arabic: Athan) There are contradictory interpretations of dreams involving the athan or call for prayers. In general, according to interpreter Abu Said Al-Waez, the athan is a good dream for religious-minded people and those who specialize in religion. It should also be done properly and in the proper place. Otherwise, it is a bad dream, as in the case of someone dreaming that he is calling for prayer in a garbage disposal area, in which case it would mean that the dreamer is attempting a reconciliation with a foolish person who would reject him. Likewise, calling for prayer in a house, rather than in the mosque, would mean that the dreamer is trying to entice a woman. According to Ibn Siren, the athan means separation between partners in view of a verse to this effect in “Suratul Taubah” (Repentance) in the Holy Quran.
• Calling for prayer once or twice, then praying as ordained by God: Will perform hajj or umrah (minor and out-of-season pilgrimage).
• Launching the prayer call while standing on the Kabah in Mecca (Makkah): The dreamer will come out with a heresy. The dream would be worse if the call was launched from within the Kabah. Dream Interpreter: Various Islamic Scholars
