Incident - Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) seeing dreams before the important battles On the eve of the battle of Badr between the believers and the Quraish tribe of Mecca, Prophet Muhammad (Alayhi-Salam) saw a dream as stated in the Holy Qur'an: "And remember when God showed them to thee as few in thy dream — " (Qur'an 8:43). Later on, when Prophet Muhammad (Alayhi-Salam) led his companions to Hudaibiyyah, he also saw in a dream that he and his companions were entering the Holy city of Mecca. Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin

God Almighty confirmed his dream in the Holy Qur'an saying: "Truly did God fulfil the vision for His Apostle, that ye shall enter the Sacred Mosque, if God wills, with your minds secured, head shaved, hair cut short, and without fear. For He knew what you do not know, and He granted beside this, a speedy victory." (Qur'an 48:27). A Dream Interpreted As The Battle Of Uhud Narrated Abu Musa: The Prophet (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) said, "I saw in a dream that I was migrating from Mecca to a land where there were date palm trees. I thought that it might be the land of Al-Yamama or Hajar, but behold, it turned out to be Yathrib (i.e. Medina). And I saw cows (being slaughtered) there, but the reward given by Allah is better (than worldly benefits). Behold, those cows proved to symbolize the believers (who were killed) on the Day (of the battle) of Uhud, and the good (which I saw in the dream) was the good and the reward and the truth which Allah bestowed upon us after the Badr battle. Spearman A battle between spearmen in a dream represents a blow of fate, a mishap, or a calamity. The way to avoid such a mishap is by spending money and efforts on Allah's path. Such a battle also could mean an attack against one's religion, a calumny, or mocking another perbond faith, or speaking ill of righteous people, or being sarcastic about religion, or it could mean slander, defamation, confuting someone, defaming him, vilification, or making libellous statements against someone. If one sees himself stabbing someone with a spear, a sword, a lance, or a wooden post in a dream, it means making or publishing libellous statements about someone, and in that case, he is the assailant and he is liable for his actions, also he will be subjected to the same destiny. Pretending Pretending to be in love in a dream means going astray. If a knowledgeable person pretends to be enamored in his dream, it means that he deceives people with his ornate presentations, and that his actions contradict their common standards. If a little person displays such pretension in his dream, it means that he will rise in station, strengthen his religious adherence, and have a better understanding of his spiritual goals and real purpose in life. Cemetery If a sick person walks into a funeral procession in a dream, it means that his illness will culminate in his death. If he is not sick and then during that procession he weeps or prays for the deceased person in the dream, it means that he will repent of his sins, join spiritual study circles and serves the people of knowledge. Such a person also may attain a blessed spiritual station and benefit from what he hears and sees. If one sees himself walking in a funeral procession and neglecting respect and contemplation, and instead laughs and jokes, it means that he will befriend evildoers and accept their evil conduct as a standard norm of behavior. Defeat • Atheists being defeated: It will be so in reality.
• True believers being defeated: Will win the war or the battle.

Trap (Hunter's snare; Hunting trap; Net; Snare) In a dream, a trap means deception, duplicity and fraud. If one falls victim to a hunting trap in a dream, it means that he will be victimized. If one sets a trap and catches an animal or a bird with it in the dream, it means that he earns his money through deception and fraud. In a dream, a trap also represents a man who fosters little moral standards, or one who does not prescribe to any religious code of conduct, and who is smart but deceitful. Weeping or laughter Seeing oneself as weeping will be interpreted as joy and happiness as long as such weeping is not done with sound, screaming or tearing one's collar to pieces as when mourning. One the contrary joy, happiness, merry-making, laughter, dancing etc. will be interpreted as grief and sorrow.
