Jinn - Or Djinn According to my grandfather, the late Mr. Mahmoud Fahim of Egypt, a master magician and an authority on the subject, as quoted by Dr. Paul Brunton: “… jinn's are native inhabitants of the spirit world who have never possessed a human body. Some of them are just like animals, others are as shrewd as men. There are also evil jinn's … who are used by low sorcerers, especially by the African witch doctors … they are dangerous servants and will sometimes turn treacherously on the man who is using them and kill him.”36 The jinn's have their own realm, whose doctors, for instance, are called Maymoun and Abanos. They are said sometimes to perform surgery. Ata is a good friend who answers queries and might appear, when invoked, in European or Arab dress or clad as a sheikh. If one sees a physician examining him in a dream, it means an improvement in his health condition. If one sees a religious scholar advising him in a dream, it means that hypocrisy and doubt will be dispelled from his heart. A physician in a dream also represents one's mother, or he could be an opponent, or an adversary. The death of one's physician in a dream means the death of one's mother. Scholars (Early companions; Legist; Masjid; Men of knowledge; Mosque; Religious doctors; Righteous men) A scholar in a dream represents glad tidings, a promotion, or a commendation and it represents one who acts upon what he knows and says. Seeing one of the early scholars in a dream means increase in one's knowledge, for they were the wise representatives of Allah's message on earth. Seeing them also means increase in one's wisdom, happiness, joy, and one's dream could mean that one will stand to admonish people or counsel them. Egg For medical doctors, gifted persons, and poultry farmers, eggs mean welfare. For the rest, few eggs mean benefits; many eggs means deep worries. Big eggs refer to boys and small ones to girls. For bachelors, eggs often symbolize marriage. For married people, eggs are the forerunners of childbirth. Eggs also represent hidden things.
• Eggs in a container: Slave or maiden girls, in view of the Quranic expression “[Pure] as they were hidden eggs [of the ostrich].” (“Al-Saffat” [Those Who Set the Ranks], verse 49.)

• Cooked eggs without shells: Blessed gifts and benefits.

Fox The fox is a crafty person, a crook, one who dodges on the spiritual and material planes. It could also be an astrologer or a doctor.
• Seeing a fox: Will feel depressed, be humiliated, or lose part of one’s fortune.
• Dodging a fox: The dreamer is a liar or a poet.
• A fox dodging the dreamer: An adversary or a competitor is doing so.
• Fighting or quarrelling with a fox: The same will happen with a relative.
• Calling a fox: Pain from wife or husband.

Ophthalmologist (Eye doctor; Oculist) In a dream, an ophthalmologist represents a spiritual guide who brings people out of darkness into light and who brings peace and unity between beloveds. An ophthalmologist in a dream also represents a teacher who entices people to seek knowledge, to reflect in advance about the consequences of their actions and to develop a sharp sight. Gourd The gourd, also called vegetable marrow, pumpkin, squash, and winter squash, alludes to the recovery of a sick person. Its vine is a knowledgeable man or a blessed and sociable doctor who benefits people. It could also refer to a poor man. A gourd is favoured by most interpreters, like meat and eggs.

Sponsorship (Guarantee; Legal guardianship; Support; Tutelage) To take the responsibility of caring for someone, or to sponsor someone, or to become a legal guardian of someone, or to guarantee someone in a dream means blessings, profits, or victory over one's enemy. A sponsorship in a dream also signifies steadfastness and resoluteness of both the guarantor and his protegee. It is also said that sponsoring someone in a dream means to cause him harm. Jesus Christ • Turning into Jesus Christ, looking like him, or wearing some of his clothes. (1) For a ruler or a chief: Will become more powerful. (2) For a scholar or a worshiper: Usefulness and good deeds will increase, and virtue will become more obvious. (3) For a medical doctor or a healer: Will become more successful.
• A sick person dreaming of Jesus Christ: Will be out of danger and recover fully.
• Jesus Christ appearing sick: The dreamer will die.

Termite (Broker; Stockbroker; Wood warm) In a dream, termites represent jealousy, envy, perfidy, competition in knowledge, or search for arguments. If one sees termites in his carry -on bag, or eating from his staff in a dream, they mean his death. Termites in a dream also represent a slanderer who tricks wealthy people to make his commission by advising them to place their money into bad investments. If a sick person sees termites inside his house or clinging to his skin in a dream, it also means his death. Penny Owing money in a dream means that one will be summoned to testify in a court of justice. If his pennies are old, chipped, or broken in the dream, they denote a faltering faith. Losing a penny in a dream means wasting time and money, or wasting one's words, or advising an ignorant person who will not heed his advice. If one's pennies carry the picture of a person in a dream, it means that both the carrier and the one who mints these pennies are innovators. Broken pennies in half in a dream represent an enmity that cannot be healed. Receiving money in a dream is better than giving it. If one's actual liquid asset turns into pennies in a dream, it means insolvency or bankruptcy. If one's little money grow in a dream, it means prosperity. Tree • A tree falling, breaking, or being cut or uprooted by a strong wind: A man or a woman will die or get killed. If it is a palm tree, the person in question will be an illustrious man or the wife or mother of a chief. The olive tree refers to a scholar, a preacher, an interpreter, a ruler, or a medical doctor.
• Extracting semen from a tree: Will obtain money from a man whom such a tree refers to.

Leg If both legs are amputated in a dream, it means that he will lose everything he has. If one's leg seems fat in the dream, it denotes a good financial standing, or it could mean buying a good car, or receiving a pleasing gift. If a woman sees herself having hairy legs in a dream, it means humiliation or a trick that she will play before her husband, or that her private life will become public knowledge, or that she will receive spiritual guidance after that she lived in heedlessness. A leg in a dream also denotes hardships. If one sees his legs banded or tide together in a dream, it means fear, poverty and adversities. Exposing one's legs in a dream means abandoning prayers, and it could mean humiliation. Legs in a dream also signify writing, admonition, advice, reading a book, wisdom, one's rank, pleasure, pitfalls, fault in advising, or wrong interpretation of religious matters.
