Enemy If one's enemy advises him in a dream, it means that he will betray him. If one sees an enemy invading a land in a dream, it means that a destructive flood will devastate that place. If one's enemy confides to him or pleases him in a dream, it means that he will suffer distress and adversities. If one is captured for a ransom by his enemy in a dream, it means that he indulges in sins and that he is a hostage of his own sins. Enemy (Adversary; Boy; Foe; Hidden treasure; Opponent; Power; Snake; Unjust ruler; Woman) To meet an enemy in a dream signifies honor, signing a treaty, rising above differences, receiving Allah's help and victory. Facing one's enemy in a dream also means befriending him. If one is threatened by his enemy in a dream, it means that he will win the upper hand. Walking (Jogging; Prancing; Strutting; Tripping) Walking straight in a dream means profits, seeking the path of righteousness and unwavering in one's religious commitment. Walking through the markets in a dream means carrying a will, or should one qualify for leadership, it means that he may be appointed to fill such a position. Walking barefooted in a dream means dispelling distress and portraying a good religious character. The meaning of walking in a dream implies an expression of meekness and submissiveness before one's Lord, and it could mean seeking to earn one's livelihood. Jogging in a dream means victory over one's enemy. Walking backward in a dream means reversing one's decision, cancelling a commitment, or it could represent corruption in one's religious practices. Handshake • Shaking hands with and embracing an enemy: Cordiality will replace hostility, as the Holy Prophet said that handshaking increases cordiality.
• An enemy coming to shake hands or greet the dreamer: He is seeking reconciliation.
• Shaking hands with someone with whom there is no hostility: The dreamer will come to his rescue. In case there is a feud, the latter will win over.
• Shaking hands with a sheikh or old man the dreamer knows: The dreamer will marry or make love to a beautiful woman and eat all sorts of fruits, in view of a verse in the Holy Quran: “They and their wives, in pleasant shade, on thrones reclining; theirs the fruits and theirs (all) that they ask….” (“Ya-Sin,” verses 55–57.) Visiting holy sites Visiting the grave of Prophet Muhammad, Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam, in a dream means obedience to one's parents, being true to them, seeking their love, blessings and pleasure with sincerity and trueness with one's words and actions. Visiting holy sites in a dream also means seeking knowledge and wisdom, having love for charitable people, associating with good people, seeking to learn one's religion at the hand of a pious teacher, to receive blessings and benefits in this life and in the next. Funeral Ceremonies, Obsequies • Organizing a funeral: Will look after a marriage ceremony.
• Praying in a funeral service: Will befriend people for the sake of friendship and thus earn God’s blessings.
• Walking in a funeral procession: (1) Will follow a powerful but corrupt person. (2) Will see off a traveller. Running away (Escape; Fear; Take flight) Running away from something in a dream means turning to Allah Almighty and seeking refuge in Him for safety and protection. Running away in a dream also could mean receiving an appointment, or it could mean repentance from a sin, or it could mean one's death. Pearl diver Seeing a pearl diver in a dream also means seeking to learn about something, or seeking to borrow money from a merchant, or asking someone in authority for an important appointment, or it could mean adventuring into the business of treasure hunting. A pearl diver in a dream also represents someone who knows the inside secrets of things, or he could be a scholar, a gnostic, a seeker on the path, or an interpreter of the true meanings of the early prophetic teachings. Supplication • The victim of an injustice praying or supplicating God: Will be out of worries.
• Supplicating God several times and seeking His help against Satan: (1) Will learn something wise and useful. (2) Will become self-sufficient. (3) Will be safe from the enemy. (4) Will be secure from a treacherous partner. (5) If ill, will recover, especially where sorcery is the underlying reason for one’s illness. (6) The soul will be purified. (7) Will give up atheism to become Muslim.

Hell (1) Difficulties are ahead. (2) The dreamer is seeking some kind of learning that will bring him a tragedy. (3) The dreamer will shed others blood.
• The dreamer’s face turning black in Hell: He is befriending an enemy of God and condoning his actions, which will blacken his face in people’s eyes. He should beware of God.

Mortuary Balm • A corrupt person being anointed with mortuary balm: Will repent.
• Seeking someone’s help in buying mortuary balm: Will seek that person’s help in a blessed endeavour.
• Seeking someone’s help to buy mortuary balm for a cadaver: The seeker is mediating in favour of a person who lost religious faith or asking to be given something to alleviate his own poverty or ordeal of any type.

Marketplace Going to the marketplace in a dream means seeking knowledge, or looking for work. A marketplace in a dream also represents a mosque, or winning a war. In fact, the merchants and the customers bargain with one another, some win and some lose. If a knowledge seeking student sees himself in a marketplace that he does not recognize, then if he walks away from it in the dream, it means that he will cease schooling or interrupt his studies and fail to acquire his degree, or it could mean that he has missed his Friday congregational prayers. Greetings If two merchants greet one another in a dream, it means that their business will succeed, and if the second merchant does not reply to the greetings in the dream, it means that their partnership will dissolve. If one's enemy greets him and brings a gift to him in a dream, it means that he is seeking reconciliation and is willing to pay damages for a settlement. If one is greeted with an unknown expression and to which he replies with a common greeting in the dream, it means that he will be saved from a fatal accident, though he will be rewarded for his reply. Cold If he sees that dream during the summertime, it means prosperity. If one sees himself seeking a fire or a smoke to warm himself with it in a dream means that one is seeking a job that entails danger. If it is burning coal which he seeks for warmth in the dream, then it means that he will swindle money from an orphan. Fox A fox in a dream represents a lethal enemy, a perfidious person, a liar, a poet, someone who defraud people, a schemer and a trickster. Somehow, a fox in a dream is also interpreted generally as a Fortuneteller, a dangerous state inspector, a physician or a good business manager. Killing a fox in a dream means taking advantage of a noble woman. A fox in a dream also means ingratiating oneself before a noble man or a noble woman. Dream interpreter A dream interpreter in a dream also represents someone who does not keep a secret or someone who brings people both happy or sad news. In a dream, he is also a preacher, an advisor, one who balances things, a money changer, a garment cleaner, an undertaker, a barber, a comedian, a news broadcaster or someone who searches for people's faults. Seeing oneself as a dream interpreter in a dream, and if one qualifies to sit on the bench, it means that he will become a judge. If he is seeking knowledge, he will acquire it. Snake Killing a snake in a dream and staining one's hands with its blood means destroying one's enemy. A snake in one's dream also represents a rich enemy, for its poison means money. If one sees snakes being killed in the streets in a dream, it means a war. A small snake in a dream represents a little child. Hunting snakes in a dream means tricking or deceiving one's enemies. A black snake in a dream represents a strong enemy. A white snake in a dream represents a weak enemy. If one sees a snake talking to him and saying nice words to him in a dream, it means enjoying pleasant moments with one's adversary, or benefiting at the hands of one's enemy. Shade Seeking refuge in the shade away from the heat of the sun in a dream means comfort, profits, or escaping from harm. As for a woman, shade in her dream represents her husband. If an unmarried woman sees herself seeking the shade in a dream, it means her marriage and that she will marry a rich and a powerful person. If one finds it cold to sit in the shade in his dream, then if he seeks to sit under the sun to worm himself up, it means that his poverty will be dispelled, for cold in a dream also means poverty. Flying • A pious person dreaming of flying: A desire for learning.
• A debauched person dreaming of flying: Is seeking vice and evil.
• An uncommitted person dreaming of flying: Is seeking a novelty or might turn heretic.
• Racing somebody and flying and winning the race: Will defeat that person and obtain some kind of promotion.
• Flying horizontally and steadily: Matters will be straightened without effort.
• Flying right or left in the sky: Will travel to an unusual destination or be dignified.
• Flying if no trip is in sight: Unemployment.

Scorpion A scorpion coming out of one's anus in a dream means begetting children who will turn enemies of their father. Swallowing a scorpion in a dream means letting an enemy inside one's house. A scorpion inside one's shirt or shop in a dream represents trouble and distress regarding one's livelihood. A scorpion sitting on one's bed in dream represents an inside enemy. A scorpions inside one's stomach in a dream represents the enmity of one's employees or children who work for their father. A scorpion in a dream also represents someone who speaks his mind and does not know his friend from his enemy. A scorpion in a dream also represents an enemy who lacks determination or will. Killing a scorpion in a dream means that one will capture and destroy his enemy. If one sees something that resembles a scorpion but is not a scorpion in a dream, it means that he has suspicion about someone who is not an enemy.
