Slave • Freeing a slave: Sacrifice. Hence a man dreaming that he has been set free from slavery will be the object of a sacrifice.
• An indebted free person or one who has committed some sin dreaming that he has been set free from slavery: God will come to his rescue, or he will repent.
• A bondsman dreaming that he has been set free: (1) The possible death of his master or himself. (2) If ill, will die. (3) Fewer benefits. (4) If the master was a renegade or a disbeliever, he will repent or embrace Islam and be safe from Hell’s inferno.

Slave • A free man dreaming that he has been sold as a slave: (1) Will fall in a trap or will face hardships, because selling a free man is a humiliation. (2) Will be promoted and dignified. (3) Will receive some benefit (the story of Joseph).
• A slave man dreaming that he has become free: (1) Relief from hardships. (2) Settlement of debts. (3) Fulfilment of aspirations. (4) Recovery from a disease.
• A free man dreaming that he has been bought as a slave by a woman: Honour and dignity commensurate with the price paid for him.

Shoe The shoe, sandal, sole, et cetera, symbolizes: (1) A wife or a pious woman. (2) A boy. (3) A friend. (4) A partner. (5) An animal. (6) A journey. (7) A brother.
• Buying a pair of shoes without using them: Will buy a slave girl or marry a free woman whose color or character will be as reflected by the color of the shoes. (1) Green shoes: The woman will be religious and virtuous. (2) Black shoes: She will be rich. (3) Yellow shoes: She will be ill. (4) Red shoes: She will be coquettish, always busy with her makeup, adornment, et cetera.

Thunder If the sound of thunder is heard during the month of August in a dream, it means blessings for the people in Syria and the people of Azerbaijan on the Caspian Sea. At that time, sea passages will be blockaded, the highways will be forsaken and a war may take place in China. If the sound of thunder is heard at the end of the month of August in a dream, it means the end of a drought in Egypt, rising prices, death, earthquakes, or major political changes. If the sound of thunder is heard during the first eight days of September in a dream, it announces a drought during the early part of the year that will be followed by heavy rains and results in a good harvest. It also means that a long and destructive war will take place. If the thunder takes place on the tenth day of September in one's dream, then it means a drought in Morocco. Slave If one is sold as a slave in a dream, it means that he will regain honor and dignity, or perhaps fall in a trap, for selling a free person in a dream means humiliating him. Selling a human being in a dream also connotes a good end, such as that in the story of Allah's prophet Joseph, Alayhi-Salam. If a bondman sees himself free in a dream, it means that he will experience ease after he was subjugated to difficulties and hardships, or it could mean paying his debts, recovering from an illness, attaining one's goals, or perhaps he may become a true servant of Allah Almighty, who commands good and forbids evil, establishes regular prayers, pays his charities and fears wrongdoing. Ablution - Ritual Washing Before Prayers Ablutions symbolize the discharge of responsibility in all honesty, the repayment of a debt, or truthful testimony.
• Conducting ablutions in order to pray: Will be in God’s good books.
• Conducting ablutions in a tunnel or some subterranean passage: Will recover what was stolen.
• Conducting ablutions, then tackling prayers: Will have no more worries and thank God for such relief.
• Conducting ablutions with something impure and improper: Expected relief will not come.

Pearl (Beads; Jewel; Money; Tears; Women) Drilling wholes in pearls to string them in a dream means fulfillment of one's goals, easing one's passage, or facilitating one's marriage. In a dream, a pearl also means a son. If one's wife is pregnant, and if she hands him a pearl in his dream, it means that she will deliver a beautiful son. If the pearl has no glitter, or if he takes it from his wife and locks it inside a box in a dream, then it represents a servant. A pearl in a woman's dream means good news. Tunnel (Burrow; Hole; Underground passage) In a dream, a tunnel represents trickery and deception. If one sees himself digging a tunnel or a hole for someone else in a dream, it means tricking and deceiving him. If one enters the tunnel that he dug in the dream, it means that he will fall in his own trap. If one enters a tunnel or a burrow and cannot see light at the end of it, or if a traveller digs a hole, enters it and can longer see the skies or the stars above him in the dream, it means that thieves will rob him from his luggage, or that he will be high jacked, or stopped by a band of highway robbers. Milking a Cow and Drinking its Milk If a person sees himself milking and drinking cow milk it is a glad tiding that he will become rich, or if he is rich his wealth will increase; or if he is a slave he will become free and marry his mistress. Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
The Neck If the neck is severed from the body it means that the person will become free if he is a slave or he will recover from his illness or he will soon be freed of his debts. The same dream could also be interpreted as follows : he will proceed for Hajj; or if he is distressed, he will soon find relief; or if he is in fear, it will be removed. Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Death • Death of an animal: The interpreter should bear in mind what the animal symbolizes. For instance, a lion or an elephant would refer to the supreme authority in the country. The elephant represents a huge man, the cat and the mouse are thieves, and females are, indeed, women.
• Death of a ferocious animal with fangs and claws: Triumph over enemies and safety from harm.
• Death of a domestic beast: Bad omen, especially if it is the only beast that the dreamer possesses.
• Difficult passage from life to death: Severe chastisement in the Hereafter.
• Death of a child: Death of a woman and vice versa, because Muslim scholars used to find that women and children have this in common: lack of religious faith and reason.
