Interpretation According to the Varying Conditions of people If a righteous and noble person sees himself as handcuffed or placed in a pillory. It means he will remain safeguarded against mischief and wickedness. But if the observer of such a dream is wicked it suggests that he will commit excessive sins due to which he will be doomed to hell-fire May Allah, through His infinite mercy, save us from hell-fire, Ameen. They were wearing shirts, some of which were merely covering their breasts, and some a bit longer. Then there passed before me, 'Umar bin Al-Khattab wearing a shirt he was dragging it (on the ground behind him.)" Some of them (the shirts) reaching their breasts, and some of them reaching below that." He said: "Then 'Umar was presented before me and he was wearing a shirt that was dragging." They said: "How did you interpret that O Prophet Muhammad?" He said: "The religion." Amulet (Incantation; Prayer; Talisman; A prayer worn around the neck or cherished to word off evil and attract good fortune.) When a prayer is read in a dream following the prophetic traditions to help a sick person in the dream, it means protection from sufferings, dispelling distress and dissipation of sadness. If the amulet or the talisman carries a personal spell or wish, then it is nothing but lies, falsehood, affectation and hypocrisy. Irrationality If one acts irrationally in a dream, it means that he will act with disgrace, stupidity or shamelessness in real life. Being irrational in a dream and intentionally using violent or insulting words, and acting deliberately in an evil way means despair of Allah's mercy. It also means refuting or opposing something. Pearl If one sees himself bartering a pearl or a gem for fake jewelry, or for chips of glass in a dream, it means that he has sold the reward of the hereafter for the temporary pleasures of this world, or that he has exchanged something precious for something worthless, or it could mean that he may commit a sin, or become an apostate. Pearls in a dream also represent the Quran, manner of proper talking, bezels of wisdom, children, servants, integrity, beauty, or money. Sparrow The sparrow has contradictory interpretations. It symbolizes: (1) A huge, great, and dangerous man in terms of money who is slow does not recognize people’s rights, and is harmful to most people. He is a wicked man, even a swindler, but knows how to be in perfect command. He is a skilful politician and an excellent decision maker. (2) A man of entertainment who has plenty of stories and good jokes and whom people take to be a fool. (3) A beautiful woman who has mercy on people. (4) A male child. (5) Praise.
