Promise (Debt; Pledge) Making a promise in a dream means indebtedness to the second party. If one also fulfils his promise in the dream, it denotes his true intention, faith and certitude. Making a good promise in a dream means blessings, profits and longevity. Receiving a good promise from one's enemy, or opponent in a dream means evil. Receiving a bad promise from one's enemy in a dream means good. A promise in a dream is a good deed. The recipient of the promise in wakefulness is the one who makes that pledge in the dream. Guarantee (Bail; Collateral; Escrow; Security; Surety) In a dream, a guarantee means commitment or a promise to take responsibility for something. If the content of the guarantee is of good nature, such as charity, or a guarantee of safe conduct, or a promise to satisfy a need, or a promise to save someone in need, then the dream represents the good character and nature of the person seeing it. Mercury (Quicksilver) In a dream, mercury means a project, or an intention that will not be brought to completion. If one sees himself giving mercury to someone, or if he holds it in his hand in a dream, it means that he fails his promises. It also means that he disinclines in his religious practices, follows his own mind and desire, or it could mean that he is a hoax, a betraying person, or a treacherous person. Izrail Kissing Izrail in a dream means receiving an inheritance. Seeing Izrail in a dream also means separations, death of sick people, losses, destruction, fire, bad news, forfeiture of properties, stagnation of the economy, losing one's source of livelihood, imprisonment, breach of promise, forgetting one's knowledge, neglecting one's prayers, obstruction of charities, hindrance of alms distribution, negating the rights of others, retreating to one's privacy, rising prices, bad crop, a tyrant ruler, glass blowing, or bankruptcy. As for one who loves to meet his Lord, seeing the archangel Izrail in a dream means attainment of one's goal, fulfillment of a promise, freedom from prison, good news and glad tidings. Sacrifice (Immolation) To offer a sacrifice in a dream means to fulfill one's promises, relief from difficulty, healing of the sick, or increase in one's earnings. If the one offering a sacrifice interprets dreams as a profession, then it means that he has misinterpreted someone's dream, that he gave him bad advice, or sacrificed the interest of the person in question. Sacrificing in a dream also means receiving an inheritance. If a pregnant woman sees such a dream, it means that she will bear a righteous son. Rose Receiving a rose from a young man in a dream means receiving a promise that will not hold too. Seeing a crown of roses over one's head in a dream means getting married. Roses on a tray in a dream signify the pleasure of youth that does not last, or they could denote the temporary joy of this world. Roses in a dream also signify praiseworthiness, or enjoying a good reputation. Rose oil or attar which is made from the petals of damask roses in a dream means intelligence, clarity of mind, a friendly and a gentle person. If a sick person sees himself laying on a bed of flowers in a dream, it means that he might die within forty days, because forty days represent the life span of a rose blossom. World (Creation; Lower world; Material; Woman) In a dream, the world represents a woman, and a woman represents the world. If one sees himself departing from this world in a dream, it means that he may divorce his wife. If one sees the world as totally destroyed and that he is the only remaining soul in it in a dream, it means that he may lose his sight. If one sees as though the entire world is placed before him to take whatever he desires from it in a dream, it means that he may become poor, or that he may die shortly after that dream. Seeing the world in a dream also means distractions, jokes, deception, arrogance, negating promises, failing one's promises, theft, cheating, trickery, sufferings, a prostitute, adversities, sickness, paying fines, mental depression, limitations, appointments, dismissals, or disappointments. Handshake Shaking hands with someone in a dream means signing an agreement, receiving benefits, a pledge of allegiance, honoring one's promise, making a commitment, good intention, signing a contract, or cherishing a friendship. Crescent The birth of a new moon in a dream also denotes the truth of one's promise, or it could mean receiving money, for rent is usually due at the beginning of each month. The appearance of the new moon or crescent in the wrong position, such as in the South or the North in a dream means committing or witnessing a despicable action that arouses abhorrence and that may die quickly, depending on how long will that new crescent remain in that position. Appearance (Emergence; Manifestation; Visibility) In a dream, if one sees something that is kept away from him as a secret, it means experiencing comfort after suffering from trials, receiving compensation after suffering from injustice, conceiving a child after having given up hope or the like examples. A revealed secret on time in a dream means fulfillment of a promise, satisfying one's needs, repayment of one's debts, arriving of a long awaited person from a journey, release of a prisoner from his jail, and for a woman, it could mean becoming pregnant. Vascular blockage (Clot; Coagulation) When one is suffering from blood thickening or clotting, then retaining or flushing any part thereof in a dream means liquidation of stagnant merchandise, or recovering from an illness. When such an illness is not common, then seeing it in a dream means cognizance of a bad action, discovering a robbery in one's house, desecration of the grave of a relative, body snatching, or exhuming a body and moving it to another grave. Salt Discovering salt in a dream means adversities and a severe illness. Salt in a dream also represents balance, usability of things and acceptability of everything. This includes knowledge, religion, wife, money, child and lawful earnings. Salt in a dream also means appeasement of one's fear, peacefulness, developing patience and forbearance. Salt in a dream also represents a medicine, a remedy, drugs, love, tenderness, unity, compassion, earning suspicious money, or a conspiracy. Archangels Radwan (the Custodian of Paradise)
• Seeing Radwan: (1) Felicity, lasting happiness. (2) The fulfilment of promises. (3) The fulfilment of wishes. (3) Achievements. (5) Reconciliation and return of the good favours of the authority, especially if Radwan has given the dreamer a fruit or a cloth from Paradise or has been smiling at him. (6) God’s blessing, prosperity. (7) Nice living. (8) The end of all worries.
• Radwan appearing happy with the dreamer or treating him cordially: God is pleased with the subject and will shower His overt and covert blessings on him. Siddiqoon, Alias Nuriai, Alias Ruhail.
