Removing the Hair of the Head and the Beard Simultaneously If there is anything to suggest any goodness in such a dream it means that if observer is in difficulty, Allah will remove if, if he is in debt, Allah will enable him to pay it; if he is ill, Allah will grant him cure. Chewing gum (Losing the sense of taste; Masticate) Chewing gum in a dream means committing loathsome sins or indulging in sodomy, for the people of the Prophet Lot (Alayhi-Salam) used to chew gum. If one sees himself chewing gum in a dream it also could signify talking too much, or constantly complaining about something, or engaging in a major dispute, or sustaining an argument, or it could mean losing one's sense of taste. Chewing (Greed) To chew food other than for grinding or eating one's meal in a dream means an illness or loss of appetite. Chewing gum in a dream means earning money coupled with ugly words that will grow to become a big fight and that will lead to a court appearance. The source of it all begins with greed. Anything that is chewed in a dream means an exchange of words. The only exception to it is chewing a stick of sugar cane in a dream. If something nice comes out of one's mouth in a dream, it means kindness toward others. If one sees his mouth sealed in a dream and did not know who did it, it means a scandal or defamation. Putting medicine in one's mouth in a dream means correcting one's life for the better. If one puts food in his mouth in a dream, it means worldly gains and profits, unless one puts something that tastes bad, or which is spoiled, then it means losses, distress and depression. Putting good and tasty food or sweets in one's mouth in a dream means living a happy and a rich life. • Throwing pearls from one’s mouth and people collecting them but not the dreamer himself: The latter is a preacher who does not apply his prediction to himself.
• Chewing pearls: Will backbite.
• Vomiting, chewing, then swallowing pearls: Will flout and slander people.
• Seeing or finding a pearl: (1) A woman whom the dreamer will marry or a servant. Food If one finds his mouth filled with food, and if there is still a cavity for more food in the dream, it means confusion, or it could represent the balance of his life in this world. If one manages to grind and swallow the food in his mouth in a dream, it means that he will overcome his difficulties. Receiving a sour or a bitter tasting food from someone in a dream means hearing harsh words, and the same interpretation is given if one offers someone sour or bitter food in a dream. If he eats it, then it means sorrow, sadness and distress. If one finds himself eating it patiently and thanks Allah Almighty for it in the dream, it means that he will escape from such dangers. A General Rule Pertaining to a Dream with Two Scenes with Opposing Interpretations When two separate things with opposing interpretations are seen in a dream then the stronger or better of the two interpretations will be given. As an example is a person sees a bathroom and himself as removing hair using a lotion or lime-whereas a bathroom represents grief and sorrow and removing hair using a lotion or lime represents the removing of grief and sorrow- it means that his grief and sorrow will be removed, for the dream of removing hair using lime or lotion is regarded as stronger or better. Spit • Having no saliva to spit out: Poverty.
• Saliva flowing from the mouth: The dreamer will earn money, then lose it.
• Saliva flowing from the mouth without touching any part of the dreamer’s body but people collecting it with their hands: The dreamer will spread knowledge among people. If the saliva is mixed with blood, such knowledge will include lies.
• Plenty of water flowing from the dreamer’s mouth: The dreamer will lead a comfortable life.

Lay (Lie; Repose) In a dream, if a man sees himself lying on his back over the floor, it means having good strength, or gaining one. It also means winning worldly profits, or expansion of one's control. If one sees himself lying on his back on the floor with his mouth open and bread loaves coming out of his mouth, it means that he will lose control over his business, meanwhile, he may win something totally different. Food (Man's food; Dinner; Digesting food; Invitation; Lunch) Food which is placed on a ceramic plate or on a clay plate in a dream represents lawful earnings. If food is served on a forbidden golden or silver platter in the dream, it represents unlawful money, extensive debts, eating and chewing one's food with desire and gluttony. Swallowing what one is chewing means debts or collectors demanding their money. Eating with the right hand in a dream means success. Eating with the left hand in a dream means falling in the trap of one's enemy and displeasing one's friends. Toothbrush If one sees himself brushing his teeth, and if his gums bleed in the dream, it means that he will become free from his sins and curtail his evildoing, or it could mean the opposite, that is to proceed with abhorrent actions, cause harm to one's own family, steal their money, or defame them. Brushing one's teeth in a dream also could mean reservation and prudence with one's words, purifying oneself from sin, faith after disbelief, paying one's debts, doing what pleases Allah Almighty, fulfilling one's promises, a pregnancy, or a marriage.
