Sacrificing a Sheep If a person slaughters a sheep or any other animal with the object of sacrifice or qurbani, it means he will be freed if he is a slave; or he will be released if he is imprisoned; or he will regain his strength and health if he is ill; or he will pay his debts if he is owing someone; or he will become wealthy if he is a destitute. • A man who fears for his life, who is in jail, who has been taken captive, or who is ill dreaming of slaughtering a ram: Will be safe, in view of the legend of the Prophet Ibrahim, who was preparing to slaughter his son to obey God’s orders when the Almighty sent a ram from the sky to substitute for the son and be sacrificed instead. Sacrifice The sacrifice is a harbinger of relief from all worries and of blessings. If the dreamer is a woman, she will give birth to a devout son.

Ram Seeing a skinned ram inside one's house in a dream means the death of a relative. If it is the leg of a ram, then it means the death of the closest relative. Broiling a ram in a dream means governing for one year after which period one may be imprisoned. The number of rams in a dream represents the number of years. Thus, seeing them also represents the number of years one will serve in his job. The wool of a ram in a dream means money. A ram in a dream also represents the muezzin in a mosque, a general in the army, a deposed ruler, or a humiliated person. If a ram attacks someone in a dream, it signifies an attack by one's enemy. Butterfly (Moth; Silkworm) In a dream, a butterfly signifies ignorance, lack of experience with people, or inexperience with the proper protocol. A butterfly in a dream also could signify love and sacrificing one's life for others. A butterfly in a dream also represents fire worshipers, fear, or a weak enemy who speaks big words. Sacrifice (Immolation) To offer a sacrifice in a dream means to fulfill one's promises, relief from difficulty, healing of the sick, or increase in one's earnings. If the one offering a sacrifice interprets dreams as a profession, then it means that he has misinterpreted someone's dream, that he gave him bad advice, or sacrificed the interest of the person in question. Sacrificing in a dream also means receiving an inheritance. If a pregnant woman sees such a dream, it means that she will bear a righteous son. Spear The spear symbolizes influence, an acquisition, a wrong move or a fault, a woman, a son, a brother, a friend ready to defend the dreamer, a truthful testimony, or a journey. A spear without iron represents a daughter who will have as many blessings as there are dents in it.
• A king or chief seeing his spear growing excessively: Will be unjust to his subjects.
• Fighting the enemies with a spear: Will make illicit gains.
• Being mounted on a horse or a camel and holding a spear: Dignity, influence, authority, and prosperity.
