If one shoots arrows and finds himself also at the receiving end in a dream, it means that he will attain his goal of meeting his Lord. Moon The moon symbolizes the emperor, the supreme commander, or a person as influential as the former. The stars around it are his soldiers, the Pleiades are his houses or his wives and slave girls. It could also refer to the knowledgeable man, the scholar or all sorts of guides, evidence, references, and indications, for it lights people’s way in the darkness, especially during the last three nights in the Arabic month, which are the darkest. It alludes as well to children, the husband or wife, the master, and the beautiful female, owing to its beauty, particularly when it is full. Likewise, the moon alludes to whatever increases and decreases, because this, in fact, is what happens to it regularly when it starts as a crescent, turns into a full moon, then becomes again like a bracket. The new moon, or crescent, also represents a king, a prince, a commander, a leader, the newborn as it starts appearing from the vagina or as it utters its first cries, the hot bread just coming from the oven, a person reappearing after a long absence, the muath-then, or the one who cries for prayers, as he appears in his minaret, the orator at the podium, et cetera. Arrows In a dream, arrows mean messages, a messenger, writings, victory over one's enemy. If a woman sees her husband's arrows in their quiver in a dream, it means that her husband has turned away from her. Arrows in a dream also are an indicator or a guide. Seeing an arrow outside its quiver, means failure to perform one's duty or inability to deliver one's message. Shooting arrows in a dream means writing letters. If one shoots an arrow but fails to hit his target in the dream, it means that he will send a messenger to do something and his messenger will fail to deliver. Peach Green peaches, plums, damsons, or damson plums symbolize pain from worries or caused by a brother. The yellow type means disease, especially if it is out-of-season. Sour peaches mean fear. Pimple (Abscess; Boil; Postulate; Pus; Swelling; Tumor; Ulcer) When one sees that he has contracted pimples that open, and if pus starts running from them in the dream, it means benefits or a booty. In general, open wounds and pimples in a dream represent money and profits, unless if they appear in high concentration or cause sufferings in the dream. Doe The doe or roe is a beautiful Arab girl.
• Catching a doe in a hunt: Will be smart enough to let a girl fall in love with you or will trick a woman into marrying you.
• Shooting at a doe: Will divorce or beat your wife or have sex with a slave or a maiden.
• Throwing an arrow at a doe: Will slander a maiden or a maid.

Hyena • Hurling a stone at (or shooting) a she-hyena: Will slander such a woman.
• Stabbing a she-hyena: Will sleep with that woman.
• Hitting a she-hyena with a sword: Will call her names.
• Eating the meat of a she-hyena: Will heal from sorcery.

Pleiades The Pleiades represent a trenchant and foresighted man, because when they appear in the morning they mark the beginning of summer. The Pleiades at the zenith or vertex of the heaven in the morning mean that we are at the middle of summer. Seen in the evening, they herald the start of winter. They also allude to trade, bad religion, divination, and death, as in the case of Ibn Siren, who knew of his own demise ahead of time. (See related biography at the beginning of this book.) Love • Being ardently in love: Religious corruption and financial losses.
• Loving God Almighty: The dreamer will be proficient in his religion and will observe the Tradition of the Muslims Holy Prophet.
• Doing what the heart desires: The dreamer will start something endless.
• Fulfilling all passions without any barriers or restraints: The dreamer will meet all sorts of trouble and have a bad heart.
• Dreaming of being burnt or undergoing cauterization, et cetera: The dreamer is deeply in love.

Pot A pot in a dream also represents a handsome looking man who cares about his neighbors opinions. A pot in a dream also could represent a housekeeper. Whatever happens to it in a dream could affect the housekeeper. If there is a sick person in a family, and if one sees a cooking pot he does not know what's inside it in a dream, the stove here represents his bed, the fire represents his depression and the boiling water represents his worries. If the boiling stops, and if the contents start to cool down, and if the fire is put off in one's dream, it means that he will recover from his illness. Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Grease (Lubrication; Oil) In a dream, grease is a sign of distress or depression. If one sees himself smearing his hair with excess grease, and if grease starts to run over his face in a dream, it means adversities, burdens and a painful depression. If it is a normal quantity, then it means beautifying oneself. If the grease smells bad in the dream, it means sarcastic praises equivalent to the degree of its stench, or it could represent a prostitute, or an insolent man.
