Greetings If one commences talking to someone before greeting him in a dream, it means innovation, and the same interpretation is given if he does not reply to a greeting, or if he replies with a gesture. Paying the regards of peace at the end of one's prayers in a dream means pursuing one's path, following the proper traditions, completing one's job, resignation from one's job, appointment, dismissal, travels and profits. If one ends his prayers beginning his greetings from the left, then proceeding to the right in a dream, it means that he pursues the road of evildoing and innovation. If one ends his prayers without the traditional greetings in a dream, it means that he is more interested in collecting his profit, than in protecting his capital investment. Prayers If one pays the greeting only to the right in his dream, it means that he will seek to correct only some of his religious concerns. If he pays the greeting to the left side only in the dream, it means that he will be troubled for sometime to come. Resurrection If a warrior sees the Day of Resurrection in a dream, it means that by Allah's decree, the aggressor shall be defeated. The land of the grand gathering in a dream represents a chaste woman or a noble man. The blowing of the Trumpet of Resurrection in a dream represents the salvation of the righteous ones. Seeing any of the great extraordinary events or signs that shall precede the Day of resurrection in a dream means glad tidings for a believer who does good, and a warning for a disbeliever to correct himself and repent for his sins before its coming. Seeing the Day of Resurrection in a dream also denotes that some of the major signs are actually taking place, such as blood shedding, spread of evil, belligerence of atheism, pride about wealth, ruling of the working class, building high rises, the end of the era of kings on earth, or it could remind the person of the prophesied signs, such as the rising of the sun from the West, the emergence of a beast that will speak with a human tongue, the rising of the Imposter (arb. Adjuring (To command solemnly; to swear by Allah; or to take an oath.) If one sees himself swearing in Allah's Name before someone in a dream, it means that the other person will deceive him. To swear solemnly by the stars, the celestial signs or by any physical sign in a dream means arrogance, deception, humiliation, hypocrisy or heedlessness. If one is truthful in his oath in a dream it means that he will win his argument, speak the truth or perform an act that pleases Allah Almighty. To swear by Allah in a dream when failure to perform requires atonement means following the truth and emulating the leading example of Allah's Prophet, Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam. Toothbrush (Boy; Broom; Employee) A toothbrush in a dream is a sign of hygienic conditions, prosperity, purity, cleanliness, repentance, or asking someone for forgiveness. Incident - The conflicting interpretations He said that he first made a careful study of the character of both the persons and saw signs of evil present in the first person and interpreted his dream accordingly in the light of this verse of the Holy Quran : then a claimer proclaimed; O people of the caravan Surely you are thieves!. As for the second persons he saw signs of virtue and piety present in him and therefore, interpreted his dream in the light of the following verse of the Holy Book : And proclaim (O Ibraheem!) to the people about Hajj! The narrator of this incident says: “Matters turned out exactly as the Imaam had interpreted.” At times, athaan could be interpreted announcement, information and notification. Cincture (Band; Belt; Clerical garment; Rope) The priest's cincture in a dream represents a son. A broken cincture in the dream means the death of one's son. Ornaments (Decoration) In a dream, ornaments are a sign of poverty. If one sees the world decorated for him and he is able to ask for whatever he wishes from it in a dream, it means that he will become poor, or that he may face destruction. As for unusual ornaments that are not recognizable, or decorated lands one does not recognize, then ornaments are a good sign, and the same goes for wearing customary or traditional ornaments one is used to adorn himself with. Doughnut (Sweets) Eating doughnut in a dream means money earned from fun or music and it could represent an escape from a dangerous accident, or a would be fatal accident. Doughnut in a dream also could denote either sorrow and regret, or joy and happiness. Winds and storms Normal blowing of wind without any sign of darkness heralds blessings and barakah as suggested by this verse of the Holy Quran: And it is he (Allah) who sends the winds life heralds of glad tidings, going before His mercy. But if such winds resemble storms, typhoon etc. they suggest grief, sorrow and perplexities as is known from the following verse of the Holy Quran : And in the people of Aad there was another sign when we sent against them a wind barren of any goodness. Alterations A tailor doing alterations to a garment in a dream also could represent a preacher or a teacher at whose hands many people will repent of their sins and walk on Allah's path. A tailor doing alterations and handling trims and the ends of things represents a charitable person who makes someone happy by taking something from him and giving it to others. Vinegar Good vinegar in a dream means income and blessings, though when rarefied or stale, it means struggling to earn one's livelihood. It also means toiling to make ends meet, or it could mean hardships. Vinegar in a dream also may mean marital problems, difficulties with one's children, or a conflict at work. Straw In a dream, straw represents richness, prosperity and a good harvest, for one who gathers straw ends and brings them home. Eating straw in a dream means poverty and hunger. Bat (zool.) By Allah's leave, a bat was one of the many signs of Allah's prophet Jesus son of Marry, upon both of them be peace. In a dream, a bat may represent a monk. It also means glad tidings for a pregnant woman. Seeing a bat in a dream is not considered as a good omen for a traveller.
