• A ruler slaying a man and putting him, decapitated, on the dreamer’s neck: The ruler will commit an injustice toward the victim, asking him impossible things and requesting the dreamer as well to pay a heavy sum that he cannot afford, exactly like the burden that the slain person felt. A man told Ibn Siren, “I saw a woman in my dream, last night, butchered in her house and lying in her blood.” “She must have had sex in her bed last night,” said the interpreter. Slaughter • Slaughtering a woman: The dreamer will have sex with her.
• Slaughtering a female animal: The dreamer will make love to a woman and deflower a virgin.
• Slaughtering a male animal by attacking it from behind: The dreamer will sodomize such an animal.
• Slaughtering a young boy and grilling him: The dreamer will be unfair to that boy and slander him, provided the boy is old enough to be the one meant in the dream; otherwise the dream applies to his parents. Dog • Seeing hunting dogs entering a city: Unemployment.
• Seeing hunting dogs returning from an expedition: (1) Unemployment. (2) The end of fear.
• A sheepdog: (1) The dreamer will obtain certain benefits from the king or chief. (2) A good neighbour who is keen on preserving your interests as much as he does his own.

Dog • The dogs appearing enraged and barking ferociously: Harm and deceit will befall the dreamer from evil people.
• Dogs that are adopted as pets for entertainment and physical pleasure (caresses, et cetera) symbolize prosperity and good living; anything bad that would happen to them in the dream could have an adverse effect on such a good living in reality, along with sorrow and the disappearance of pleasure.
• Water dogs (otters) refer to bad men or unfulfilled wishes and actions that do not culminate in success.
