Cleaner If one sees himself cleaning the road to Mecca in a dream, it means that he will perform a pilgrimage. Broom (Boy; Employee) A broom in a dream represents one's family or household. Seeing it in a dream does not indicate a favorable sign. A broom in a dream also represents an employee, a housekeeper, or a servant. Sweeping the floors of one's house with a broom in a dream means becoming poor, or it could mean the death of a sick person in that house, or the distribution of one's property and possessions after his death. Earth (Country; Farm; Floor; Glob; Land; Locality; Place; Property) In a dream, each locality has a particular meaning that relates to its substance and conditions. To see the land of the great gathering on the Day of Resurrection in a dream means the fulfillment of a promise, or that the person seeing the dream is worthy of keeping secrets. Earth in a dream also means becoming rich after poverty, or having peace after experiencing extreme difficulties. It also means a marriage to a beautiful young virgin, or it could mean receiving guidance and attaining a high ranking and an honorable position in the world. To see the glob being carried on the back of a whale or a steer without changing its conditions in a dream means that the king of the country will be dethroned. Arabic months As for the eleventh lunar month, known in Arabic as Zul-Qidah, if one's dream suggests a trip, then the person should refrain from taking that trip or perhaps he should delay it for the better. Lay (Lie; Repose) In a dream, if a man sees himself lying on his back over the floor, it means having good strength, or gaining one. It also means winning worldly profits, or expansion of one's control. If one sees himself lying on his back on the floor with his mouth open and bread loaves coming out of his mouth, it means that he will lose control over his business, meanwhile, he may win something totally different. Beating Beating someone with a leather belt or with a cane in a dream means bad consequences in wakefulness. Hitting the floor in a dream means taking a trip. If one receives one hundred lashes on his back in a dream, it means that he has committed adultery, or it could mean that he has the intention to do so. If one receives forty lashes in a dream, it means that he indulges in drinking alcohol or uses intoxicants. If he is lashed eighty times in a dream, it means that he slanders married women. If he is whipped by a deceased person in the dream, it means that he is pursuing wrong ideas and should reverse his course, for a deceased person dwells in the kingdom of truth and follows only what pleased Allah Almighty. Quince The quince itself is disliked by most dream interpreters, who regard it as a sign of disease in view of its color and because it looks as if it were gripped. Some say that it refers to a trip, owing to the etymology of the word. (The Arabic name is safarjal and safar means “travel.”) But it could be a successful or an unsuccessful journey. Incident - Falling Down From High Altitude A man saw himself in a dream falling down from a high altitude. When he woke up, he said to himself: "I will avoid going out of my house or seeing people for a while." During the middle of the afternoon of that same day, a close friend came to see him, and called him from downstairs. Truffle • A poor person collecting and eating truffles and the like: Will become rich.
• A rich person collecting and eating such plants: Will get richer.
• An ascetic person unearthing and eating truffles: Will come back to the pleasures of the flesh.

Sludge (Black mud; Scum; Slum; Profits; Capital for business; Glad tidings; Dominance) In a dream, a sludge means good news and particularly if one cannot find clean water near it. If a poor person trips into sludge in a dream, it means that his will satisfy his needs. If an unmarried person sees sludge in his dream, it means that he will get married, and he will have a family, a fatherin-law and a mother-in-law. Incident - seeing a Glass Vessel Break A person revealed his dream to Ibn Sirin (RA) saying that he had seen a glass vessel in his hand. Suddenly it fell from his hand and borke. Or he said that he saw it broken in his hand while holding it. The Imaam asked whether his wife was expecting. Dwellings The spaciousness or tightness of one's dwellings in a dream represents his finances, knowledge, sharing, hospitality and generosity. If one's own dwellings looked renovated in a dream, it means regaining or developing one's business for the better. Its fresh paint means fulfilling one's religious commitments. Its tiles or marble floors represent his pleasures or wife. Dwellings of solid iron cast means longevity and authority. Rope If the rope is made from wool in the dream, then it represents a religious person. Twisting a rope in a dream means going on a trip. Twisting it around one's own neck in the dream means getting married. Throwing it over one's shoulders in the dream means an important appointment resulting from a business trip. Twisting one's beard to make a rope out of it in a dream means perjury, receiving a bribe and giving a false testimony. Twisting a rope, making one, or measuring it in a dream means travels. Star Holding little stars in one's hand in a dream means acquiring fame and presiding over people. Seeing a star over one's head in a dream means becoming renowned and surpassing one's associates, or it could mean serving in a high ranking position. If one sees brilliant stars gathering in one place in his dream, it means that he will reap benefits from a business trip, or safely return home from such a successful business trip. Riding a star in a dream means leadership, strength and wealth. Love Love, especially if ardent, symbolizes temptation; a lust for debauchery; preoccupation; deep worries; all sorts of unhappy and sad events; the inability to keep silent; frustrating; hard tests; scandals that earn the dreamer’s people’s sympathy; blindness; muteness; poverty; hunger; annihilation; various diseases; trips to remote and dangerous areas; and death (in case the subject is ill). Likewise, dreaming of being dead means that the hero of the dream is deeply in love. Resuscitating is a sign that the lover will come back. Going to Paradise means that lovers will be united. Head • Hanging upside-down in front of a crowd: The dreamer has done something wrong, feels sorry about it, and is repenting, but will live long, in view of a verse in the Holy Quran: “He whom We bring unto old age, We reverse him in creation (making him go back to weakness after strength). Have ye then no sense?” (“Ya-Sin,” verse 68.)
• One’s head being reversed: (1) If planning a trip, there will be a hindrance, but the trip will take place at a later time. (2) If already abroad, will return to the homeland but a bit late, unintentionally.
• A cold sore and pain in the head or neck: An epidemic will strike the people.
• Seeing oneself with a dog head, a donkey head, a horse head, or the head of any domestic animal: Will suffer from vexation, trouble, fatigue, and servitude.
• Seeing oneself with the head of an elephant, a lion, a tiger, or a wolf: The dreamer is handling matters beyond his capacity or surpassing himself, but not without success, and he will rise to the top and subdue his enemies. Dream Interpreter: Various Islamic Scholars
Mountain • The same dream for someone who is not sailing and has nothing to do with the sea: Will deviate from the consensus, hold independent views, and come out with fantasies and heresies. It would be especially so if the dreamer was accompanied by wild mountain animals or if there was a judge, a scholar, or a just imam on the vessel he left.
• Climbing a mountain relates to something the dreamer is requesting. If he climbed without difficulty or on stairs and reached the top, demands will be met without problems. If on the contrary, the ascent was rough or he failed to reach the top or fell, the reverse would apply and he would have as many tragedies as limbs were broken, et cetera.
