Green silky garments are the robes of the dwellers of paradise. Seeing a departed person wearing a green raiment in a dream means that he or she are living in a good state and reaping the benefits of their deeds in the world. It could also mean inheriting the deceased person. As for the deceased person himself, it could also mean that he has left this world in a state of martyrdom. Sprout (Garden greens; Leguminosae) A fresh sprout in a dream means distress, but if it is dry, then it means a good harvest, or clean money which is earned with joy. If one sees himself gathering a bunch of green sprouts in a dream, it denotes a warning. If one recognizes its substance in his dream, interpreting the element then goes back to its innate quality. Entering into a field of sprouts in a dream means a marriage into the family who owns that farmland, or it could mean a business partnership. Gourd The gourd, also called vegetable marrow, pumpkin, squash, and winter squash, alludes to the recovery of a sick person. Its vine is a knowledgeable man or a blessed and sociable doctor who benefits people. It could also refer to a poor man. A gourd is favoured by most interpreters, like meat and eggs.

Cooking Indian stew which is a meal consisting of corn and other vegetables in a dream means poverty, worship, or devotion. Cooking unripened vegetables in a dream means an illness. If one cooks a nice meal for himself in a dream, it means that he will be honored, or it could mean a political appointment, or money. If someone else cooks one's meal in a dream, it may denote double-crossing, deception, or perhaps it may mean receiving help from someone according to one's own intention or state. Pot Putting a pot with meat and vegetables on the stove in a dream means imposing oneself on someone to receive a favor. If the meat is cooked in his dream, it means that one will greatly benefit from such a person, and his earnings will be lawful. If the meat does not cook, it means that whatever he earns through the other person will be unlawful. Stirring a pot in a dream means backbiting someone. Bean Beans, lentils and the like, be they cooked or fried, mean sorrow for whoever obtains or eats them, wet or dry. However, plenty of them symbolizes money. Some say that green beans are worries and dry ones money and joy. Lentils are dirty money. Sprout Eating cooked sprouts in a dream means benefits in every respect. If one sees himself in a dream exchanging quails and manna (See Manna) for green sprouts and garlic, it means that he will be subjugated to poverty and humiliation.
