Righteous people To see oneself as one of such true ones, or to enter their circles in a dream means that one is following their example and enjoying or suffering similar trials to theirs, then he will triumph over his enemies. To see one of the companions living in a city in a dream also represents the joy, happiness, prosperity, and justice the inhabitants of such a city enjoy under the leadership of a righteous governor. Interpretation According to the Varying Conditions of people If a righteous and noble person sees himself as handcuffed or placed in a pillory. It means he will remain safeguarded against mischief and wickedness. But if the observer of such a dream is wicked it suggests that he will commit excessive sins due to which he will be doomed to hell-fire May Allah, through His infinite mercy, save us from hell-fire, Ameen. They were wearing shirts, some of which were merely covering their breasts, and some a bit longer. Then there passed before me, 'Umar bin Al-Khattab wearing a shirt he was dragging it (on the ground behind him.)" The Prophet Muhammad's (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) Seeing People Barely Covered Abu Umamah bin Sahl bin Hunaif narrated from some of the companions of the Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) that the Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) said: "While I was sleeping I saw people presented before me, and that they were wearing shirts. Some of them (the shirts) reaching their breasts, and some of them reaching below that." He said: "Then 'Umar was presented before me and he was wearing a shirt that was dragging." They said: "How did you interpret that O Prophet Muhammad?" He said: "The religion." Record keepers (Angels; Spiritual) Representing the heedful angels in charge of guarding the writings of the Preserved Tablets, and the heavenly beings or scribes in charge of recording peoples deeds. Broker (Auctioneer; Middle man; Stockbroker) A broker in a dream represents someone who brokers for either good or evil, or he could be someone broadcasting his own esteem. Such a person will be well recognized in wakefulness. A broker in a dream also represents a marriage broker, or a pimp. If an unknown broker visits a sick person in a dream, he then represents the angel of death. The visit of the undertaker in a dream means the same. Old woman In a dream, an old woman represents the ending of one's life in this world, sorrows, the hereafter, wine, or bearing children after having lost hope in one's fertility. An old woman in a dream also could represent deceit, cunningness, duplicity, backbiting, or slander. Seeing an old and sick woman in a dream may mean impotence, weakness, or disability. Seeing a thirsty old woman in a dream means drought. If she turns a young girl in the dream, then she represents rain. If an unknown old woman visits a sick person in a dream, it means his death. Elf (Abnormal; Albino; Elf; Leprosy; Whitish) An elf in a dream represents a person of evil nature who creates disunity and enmity between people through backbiting, insinuations, slanders and who advises them against good deeds. In a dream, an elf also represents poverty, sorrows, humiliation, or adversities caused by people who wander between towns and cities as a habit. Grave The grave or grave pit symbolizes the prison, and vice versa. Graves symbolize a leaning toward ignorance or the ignorant, religious corruption, a catastrophe, worries, and regret for having followed the ignorant, but ultimate repentance. The gravedigger is a prestigious and awesome man.
• Wishing to visit the tombs: Will pay a visit to prisoners.
• Entering a grave and stepping on the bones of the dead: Will be expelled.
• Digging a grave or a pit for oneself or somebody else: (1) Will build a house. (2) Will settle in that area.

Drummer In a dream, a drummer represents festivities and joy. If a drummer visits a sick person in a dream, it means that the latter will shortly die and that drums will play at his funeral. Nurse A nurse treating one's wounds in a dream represents healing of one's sickness or sufferings. If a nurse visits a healthy person in a dream, it means that he may be wounded, and in that case he will need such assistance. Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Church • A man praying in a church according to Christian rites: Will mix with atheists, heretics, adulterers, drunkards, or people who commit other abominations. The same would apply to a woman dreaming of attending a tumultuous marriage ceremony or a funeral at which people weep loudly, tear their pockets, and wear black.
• Remembering or mentioning Allah in a church and denouncing what the worshipers there are doing: Will work for the promotion of virtue and the deterrence of vice.
• Mentioning God, crying, and praying toward the Kabah (in the direction of Mecca (Makkah)) inside the church: Will visit a graveyard to pray for the dead or attend a funeral service. Dream Interpreter: Various Islamic Scholars
Record keepers Seeing the scribes of the records in one's dream brings him glad tidings in this life and in the next. If the person lives a pious life, it means that the heavenly paradise is his final abode, but if he is impious, it could represent a clear warning. Scholars If one sees a scholar who is considered to be a reference in religious knowledge, and if one accepts his admonition in the dream, though in wakefulness he does not follow this school of thought, it means that he will be tried with an adversity that will be remembered by people for sometime to come, though his testimony will be accepted by the people. If a well-known early scholar appears in one's dream when the dwellers of that locality are experiencing adversities, economic distress or a drought, it means that their calamity will be lifted. Seeing an unknown scholar, or an unknown religious doctor in a dream means that a physician or a philosopher may visit one's house. Irrationality If one acts irrationally in a dream, it means that he will act with disgrace, stupidity or shamelessness in real life. Being irrational in a dream and intentionally using violent or insulting words, and acting deliberately in an evil way means despair of Allah's mercy. It also means refuting or opposing something. It is also interpreted to mean attending to one's prayers without the ritual ablution. Irrationality in a dream also may mean insolent behavior, or ill speaking of peoples honor or chastity.
