Happiness (Elation; Excitement; Joy) In general, happiness in a dream means sorrow. To be happy about something which the heart does not feel comfortable with, or which the heart does not qualify as correct conduct or behavior in a dream means sadness and sorrow in wakefulness. Happiness in a dream also means being indifferent about following Allah's commands. Happiness If one is told something that is supposed to make him happy, when in fact it made him sad in the dream, such as being told in a dream that so and so has just arrived from a long journey, when in fact such person has just died, it means that his sadness will be dispelled and his sorrows removed. Delight (Happiness; Music; Overjoy) Experiencing delight or overjoy from a musical performance in a dream means being moved by sorrow and grief. To feel overjoyed or ruptured in a dream also suggests diligence, a quick mind, intelligence or awareness of someone who is known to be leaden, or it could mean a sudden change in the attitude of a stingy person as he turns to spending his money with generosity. The feeling of rapture or emotional ecstasy in a dream also means indulging in sin, becoming alcoholic, committing adultery, or it could mean love for Allah Almighty, turning toward Him in truth and with sincerity. Weeping or laughter Seeing oneself as weeping will be interpreted as joy and happiness as long as such weeping is not done with sound, screaming or tearing one's collar to pieces as when mourning. One the contrary joy, happiness, merry-making, laughter, dancing etc. will be interpreted as grief and sorrow. Chessmen (Castle) Seeing any of the pieces used in the game of chess in a dream denotes rightfulness, balance, privacy, confidentiality, truthfulness, or it could mean a sudden death. However, witnessing a disaster in a dream also could mean the opposite, such as hearing good news, or that one's reluctant enemy may secede. Depression (Dejection; Melancholy; Sadness) In a dream, depression signifies the opposite. That is to say joy, happiness and celebrations. However, if one sees his friends depressed in a dream, it means suffering the same in wakefulness. Depression in a dream also denotes an illness or sufferings caused by one's own family, or it could mean imposition, forfeiture of business, cancellation of interest receivable, or perhaps it could mean business stagnation. Wrath Wrath without reason means sudden death. Wrath also symbolizes scandals, financial losses, poverty, and disease because it alters the chemistry of the body. Wrath and anger mean things will go upside-down and the dreamer’s wealth will vanish in view of a verse in the Holy Quran: “And Allah repulsed the disbelievers in their wrath; they gained no good. Incident - a king trying to Annihilate the Muslims They said that the elephant is the most powerful animal on land and mounting such a powerful animal means becoming the master of power and strength. And the beating of drums and blowings of trumpets are signs of happiness, ecstasy and victory. Also drums are only beaten in the presence of asking if there is some reason for happiness. When the king heard this, he became both surprised and delighted. He then summoned some Jewish ulama and asked them for their interpretation. They also interpreted the dream as a glad tiding of victory. He then called some Muslim ulamaa and demanded that they interpret the dream. Exasperation (Infuriation; Irritation; Jealousy) Exasperation without a reason in a dream means a sudden death. Exasperation in a dream also could signify involvement in a scandal or suffering from an illness that will help changing one's attitude about life. If one sees himself infuriated or irritated by someone in a dream, it means that he will suffer the consequences of his qualities or lose his money. Truffle Up to three truffles symbolizes mean and useless or thankless individuals of either sex. Truffles, like mushrooms, fungi, and plants that have no roots, symbolize foundlings, natural children produced by adultery, persons of unknown origin, and those who cannot stand on their feet, or money that comes spontaneously and without effort, like a gift, a donation, a grant, or any sudden and unexpected source of gratification. This belief is reinforced by the fact that the Muslims Holy Prophet is reported to have said that truffles were a kind of manna, which, according to the Webster dictionary, is food miraculously supplied to the Israelites in their journey through the wilderness. Arabic months However, if one's dream takes place during the twelfth lunar month, known in Arabic as Zul-Hijjah indicates a journey then one may take it, or if it denotes a good business, one should seek it, for it is a most blessed month and it is the month of festivities and sacrifices. If one sees this month in his dream or sees himself offering sacrifices in it, or if he honour praying the festival of Sacrifice prayers in it, his dream means paying one's debts or fulfilling one's vows, repentance from sin, guidance or perhaps his dream may indicate the death of great people of knowledge, the impeachment of governors, the changing of governments, or it could mean a sudden war. Laughing Laughing in a dream means happiness and joy in wakefulness, except if one bursts with a horselaugh or falls over his back from laughing in his dream. If so, then it means crying. If one's laughter in his dream is caused by a joke, then it denotes his dishonesty. The same goes for laughing by imitation in a dream which means falling into sin.
